  • - God Hates Sin and Sinners, But Loves Saints.
    av Norman De Jong

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) GOD, forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!Galatians 6:14 “God bestows the actual knowledge of himself upon us only in the Scriptures.” John Calvin NORMAN DE JONG (Ph.D., Educational Foundations, University of Iowa) devoted most of his life to the cause of Christian education. • - New beginnings with a old school flavor
    av Napoleon Thompson
    143,-

No one can deny that relationships are difficult at times to manage and many are prone to giving up, hence why there are more divorces than ever before (even within the Christian community).Author Napoleon Thompson is no stranger to this knowledge, engaged to his beloved girlfriend of ten years who he has weathered some storms with in their relationship. Having suffered Stage 1 PTSD from his time in the armed service, Napoleon understands that relationships can go through more trials when one or both of the partners are not in a good place emotionally. His experiences with his fiancée, coupled with dating and marriage advice from his grandparents (married fifty-five years), power the foundation for his new relationship advice book, The Narrow Path. Napoleon takes a step-by-step approach toward dating in his book: beginning first with the mental stance one should be in while pursuing others, and progressing into different types of relationships and typical issues to emerge with dating couples. He stresses most that a person should know him/herself first before entering into a relationship, coming to terms with how God created the person to be so he/she can be comfortable in one’s own skin.Once the relationship begins, Napoleon then dissects common relationship issues that could damage the coupling of a man and woman: poor communication, forgiveness and commitment are among the discussed issues. He a lso devotes time to show the pros and cons of a long-distance relationship and a face-to-face relationship. What The Narrow Path wants readers to gain most is awareness of ways evil can surface in a relationship that is not firmly placed within God’s loving hands. When one knows who he/she is in Christ, and has taken the time to know his/her partner as God does, a relationship can survive and thrive against any odds.

The story of Lisenka continues. Russia and persecution have been left far behind, but new challenges face Lisenka. How can a German-speaking girl thrive in a school that only teaches in English? Is her dream to learn to read going to be crushed in America, too? How can she deal with the class bully who belittles her or classmates who make fun of her clothes? Will bed bugs in their used mattresses actually be a blessing? What is God’s will for her in the springtime of her life? Follow along with this brave young girl as she explores her new world. This fictional story is based on true events My StoryI grew up in a small Ohio town, attended a small Lutheran grade school and have a small-town attitude. After college and four children, I began to write, including the original version of this book. In 1995, my husband Tom and I started a group travel business, Tom’s Christian Tours (TCT). My small-town attitude entered the jet-set age. TCT took me to all corners of the USA and to 75 different countries. Now in retirement, writing is again calling to me.                                  www.lindajaneniedfeldt.comEndorsements“In reading Green, my students learned the blessings and challenges of immigration. It’s a must-read book for every elementary school classroom in America.”—  Kris Walta, fifth grade teacher, Faith Lutheran School, Fond du Lac, WI“In grade school, my entire classroom loved the original books, Red and Green. I pray that these new releases will have as profound an effect on young readers as they did on me.”— Caleb L. Manske, civil engineer“After I read the book Red to my primary students, my enthusiastic listeners could hardly wait to hear Green and follow Lisenka as she faced new challenges in America. It was the one time in my day when I did not have to ‘practice my patience smile’ because everyone was mesmerized.”— Carol Kolosovsky, Christian day school primary teacher for thirty-seven years

In my journey through life, I have studied basic questions about God. Along the way numerous people have asked me, “Is God real?” “How do I know the real God from false gods?” “Why did Jesus have to die to save us?”Many times, our modern world has over complicated things. It is often easy to give up when trying to sort through all the confusion. God is not a complex God. He made things simple. It is easy. Just ask. One day, I sat down and questioned, “If I knew nothing of God, what kind of questions would I want the answers to?” After making a list, I began to study and research each one. This book will take you on an adventure through God’s Word, my personal experiences and studies as I found the answers. God has many ways of speaking to us. The Bible has all the information and is the number one source. God can use people. He can work through people in a church, a stranger on the street, or a close friend. He has ways to reply to our questions including books, and videos to name a few. As you will find in this book, He even used a donkey.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32This book is dedicated to the Body of Christ to help us to realize how dangerous fear is and that it should not be tolerated in our lives.  It should be dealt with very seriously.  Fear can cripple someone’s life physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. When fear gets a hold on someone’s life, it destroys it.My reason for writing this book is that people who read it may realize how truly dangerous fear can be, so they can do something about it in order to prevent fear from becoming a stronghold in their lives.Fear is a destructive force from the devil and he uses it to stop an individual from reaching their true potential in life.Romans 8:15 (KJV)15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

  • - Dealing With The Guilt Of Divorce
    av Dr Don Ledbetter
    182,-

This book deals with one of the most relevant questions of today and is certain to upset and anger many who hold to the present day concept of what constitutes a Marriage.Marriage and divorce are two subjects that causes endless discussion. Both have the tendency of bringing either joy or sorrow to the individuals involved. The difference between whether one’s marriage or divorce is a joyful or sorrowful experience is predicated, in great part, by how their marriage or divorce was approached from a spiritual perspective.Dr. Ledbetter is concerned about the many Christian men and women who are restricted in serving Christ because Satan has convinced them they are “living in adultery”. He asks, “Was their first marriage a scriptural marriage or a non-scriptural marriage? If their first marriage was not sanctioned by God, should they not have the knowledge of battling Satan with the truth and have a life that can be free from such a burden?

The ability to raise money is a critical skill that will support you in achieving greater success and in building financial wealth much faster.Regardless of the business that you are in, or the project that you are pursuing, you will need money and financial resources to capture that business opportunity. It is so obvious when you take the time to think about it that all ideas, businesses and financial opportunities require money to be realized. Learning to raise money is a critical skill that all successful entrepreneurs, businessmen and financially successful people have mastered. However, just like any worthwhile goal, there is both an outer game and an inner game that must be mastered to be effective at raising money. Most athletes will agree that your level of success will be determined largely by your inner game; that mental game that is going on inside your head as you strive to achieve your raising-money goals. The Inner Game of Raising Money will support you in developing the raising-money mindset that is necessary to raise all the money you require to fund your business and any projects or opportunities you desire to take on. • - We are the Called may we answer Here am I Lord use me.
    av Angela Deese
    195,-

The Called is encouraging, and uplifting to the readers as Angela has captured her gentleness in this easy to read book that is and inspiration to us all. “The Called” can be getting out of the boat to serve the Lord in total surrender, or possibly you may be called to wrestle against principalities, and powers; as Angela has captured what it means to be called into the service of Jesus Christ. As a mortgage broker for many years Angela sat at her desk knowing that there was a calling on her life, she didn’t know how to step out to begin to follow a call that only she heard in her spirit. As she went through the storms of life she began hearing a Voice of One calling to her to write, and move into deeper waters, and to trust the One that called her by name. She has authored Emotional Glory, In Him, and But God and has finished several manuscripts that will become books in the near future. This book will encourage you to step out of your safety net and allow Jesus Christ to call you out of the world, and into His calling for your life. There are times when we have to shut off the world and listen to the Voice that calls to us in the midnight hour. We must be willing to answer the call no matter what our circumstances may be, and to trust the One that knows you best. We have to understand that though the storms seem fierce, and hard, we have an enemy of our soul that doesn’t want us to get out of the boat and serve Christ. We are “The Called” and we must answer “Here am I Lord, use me.”

  • - A testimony of what it's like to live a supernatural life, trusting God when life gets tough, and fighting the good fight of faith when all else fails.
    av Connie C Smithson

“If You Are Willing To Take A Chance On Dying,Then I Am Willing To Do The Surgery.”That’s what the doctor said after diagnosing forty-seven year old Connie Smithson with Acute Chronic Heart Failure after countless visits to the hospital for fluid overload. Acute Chronic Heart Failure occurs when the heart is not functioning properly, thereby causing an increase in fluid, shortness of breath, exhaustion and eventually death if not treated. Thus began Connie’s battle—both Physical and spiritual—to receive healing by focusing on God’s word and the price Jesus paid at Calvary for healing to be made possible in every area of life. This a true testimony of what it’s like to live a supernatural life, trusting God when life gets tough, and fighting the good fight of faith when all else fails.

  • - Creating Life-Changing Ministries from Stories
    av William Spuck
    182,-

Tell Me a Story: Developing Ministries from Stories by Bill Spuck is an innovative new guide that will help Christian leaders grow and expand their ministries through the lens of storytelling and creative thinking. Leaders of Christian ministries, services, programs, departments, outreaches, or activities in church or parachurch organizations will learn how to rethink ministry design from the ground up through stories in order to create new processes and improve their current ministry models. In Tell Me a Story, the Story Method is laid out in eight steps, communicating one step per chapter through the engaging story of a pastor designing an evangelistic sports outreach. Steps in the Story Method include writing stories, identifying and describing ministry components and relationships from the stories, designing the ministry based on these components, assigning responsibility for components, and developing the final ministry plan. Christian ministry; outreach; church mission statement; church leadership meeting.

“Who is your daddy and where are you from?” Everywhere I went, I replied, “You probably don’t know him,” but I never said what I was thinking. “Neither do I.” You gain your identity through your father.  He tells you who you are and gives you his name.  He communicates to you what it means to be a member of your family, and he instills a sense of pride in who you are. But when you don’t know him or have no received his validation, how do you gain self-identity? My resolution didn’t come from finding the man whose image I had never seen, but rather in the shadow that was always there. In Made In his Image, but His Shadow Is All I’ve Seen, I invited you to journey with me in my search for my long-lost father and my own self.  Perhaps my journey will lead you toward your own personal discoveries.  I started out looking for one outcome, but what I found changed my life forever.

This book is a tool that you can use at any time of your life, it has opened my eyes to many life situations that I have gone through. It teaches how with our Lord Jesus we can conquer everything, no demon is too strong for us because we walk with Jesus. Also it explains in deep how much the spiritual world is so important. Susan was getting attacked spiritually but at the same time God was protecting her (she also needed to cooperate with God to be protected) I recommend this book for our daily situations. We confront demons at all times but when you give your life to God, and accept Jesus as your Savior you receive the power to repent from sin and to rebuke any demonic activity. I recommend this book!!!! Praise the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ and God The Father.Lymarie Rios, CNA Orlando Fl. "In this short story, you will see the tender heart of love and careful words of instruction of Mother. The law of kindness is on Mother''s tongue. She demonstrates watchful protection over Cammy and Sammy as she daily is in their presence. Parents can easily relate the mother''s heart, akin to the heart of Jesus as He is to His children. A wonderful and useful book. Had I had this book when my children were small, I certainly would have made use of it. I highly recommend this for all ages!" Patti Roberts- married homeschooling mother of seven with growing number of grandbabies. "Mara-lee has given us a tremendous gift. Christians throughout history have systematically taught the faith to their children. This practice of systematic training in a catechism has become largely neglected by the Church in the last generation. Mara-lee''s hope is to bridge the gap between the old ways of training our kids up in solid doctrine, allowing them to wrestle with the deep things of God, and modern children''s story telling. I hope many find her work to be a blessing to the spiritual life of their children and a warm treasure in their home during the intimate times as the family gathers." Pastor Jeff Durbin- married father of four, sought after for his debate skills and also the main host of ApologiaRadio.com"Mara-lee has peeked into a child''s inquiring mind and has given solid answers to questions about how to hear and respond to God''s voice. Children will love the way Cammy''s Adventures introduces them to new experiences in their lives. This delightful book will be a great tool for opening up discussions both at home and in the classroom." Donna Lapp- married mother of 3, grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 10. She is also a retired elementary grade school teacher.

Properly understood, the Millennium is not the length of time of the reign of Christ on earth. Rather, it is just that portion of time when the saints of God will join Christ in His eternal rule. A re-reading of the relevant verses in Revelation 20:2-7 makes it clear that the 1,000 years is just the length of time for the saints to join Christ in His rule. The verses did not say that the reign of Christ is only for a total of 1,000 years. As the creator, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the Word who is from the beginning - Jesus Christ has actually been reigning from the dawn of time. The Millennium is just a chapter, not the totality, of Christ rule on earth. Avelino Padilla is a pastor-teacher who has ministered extensively in a variety of demanding roles. He studied at the Manila Bible Institute, The Baguio Colleges Foundation, and at the Center for International Christian Ministries in London, U.K. Concurrent with his past role as Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship, he was also the North Luzon Superintendent of the Philippine Pentecostal Holiness Church, Academic Dean at Baguio Bible Institute, and Administrator of Hope of Baguio Christian Academy. GET READY TO TAKE A JOURNEY where inspiration and grace call all the shots. "Still Reaching" is one of those books that waters the spirit and strengthens the stakes of all its readers. From "Salvation Road" to "Once upon a Judgment," its content is sure to excite us to yearn for God more. We are instructed to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly before the Holy Spirit (Micah 6:8 - The Holy Bible). It is my prayer that observers will open themselves up to discern God better through the busyness of things. God's precious vessels in the house of God are to be uplifted, loved, and doused with the compassion of righteousness from when they enter into the church-house until they leave. Surely we are all learners upon the earth when it comes to loving right. Together, let's keep reaching for the goal of Yahweh through what may appear to be one disappointment after another. The torch of faith is ever-ready over the redeemed to light their way through the temporary haze of every failure. Let us be rich in good works and lay firm hold on eternal life (1 Timothy 6:18-19). May a new hope be ignited in every heart that reads this book, "Lord, open me up to consider my brother in all he has gone through." Amen. How many times have life-changing, or innocent and pleasant, reflections come forth over a freshly brewed cup of coffee? It''s something about thoughts, while savoring the aromas of caffeinated coffee, which can lead to a major decision being made and a new path being charted. Author Monica Williams believes the same can emerge with a cup of coffee in hand and conveys this belief in her new, nine-week devotional, Over a Cup of Coffee: Flavor to Enrich Your Soul. Following the process of turning a coffee bean into a cup of coffee, from growing on coffee trees to fermentation to bringing coffee beans into one''s kitchen, Monica offers spiritual insight to help readers recognize when, where and how God is leading them forward to their destinies. For example, Monica describes to readers the drying progression of the coffee bean, which means the beans have to go without water for a certain time. She compares this to trials in life a person may have that could also be seen as a "drying" season. The goal for the drying progressions for both the coffee bean and a person is to uncover the gifts within a person, the "flavor" of the bean and person, that come from being tested and emerging successful.Enriching the message within each devotional, the author prompts readers to grab a cup of joe and participate in questions or journaling opportunities to reveal goals and visions God has presented before them. Whether reviving dreams forgotten during a dry season or discovering spiritual fruits within, Monica encourages readers to look within to see what next step God has influenced them toward. It may seem like an indulgent time with a person and his/her coffee, but it could be a revolutionary change in the spiritual, professional and personal areas of the person''s life.

The world is an unpredictable place. We are challenged by how to react to all the turmoil, tragedy, and uncertainty. What is the Godly response? The author posits that to have a Godly response, we must know God. To know God, one must go beyond cursory Bible reading or sporadic church attendance. One must make an intentional effort to get to know God. This book seeks to explain the difference between religion as a structure versus having a relationship with God. It offers several areas to explore in building a relationship with God. During these times, religion that does not impact our everyday lives will not be effective. We need to have a relationship with God. The author, K. A. Sellers, graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2015. She strives to combine her seminary learnings with people''s everyday experience. Even though the Bible was written centuries ago, God''s principles are still useful for us today.

In the pages of this book you will meet modern day Renaissance man Jackie Fay Robinson. His remarkable story took him from the hills of Kentucky to the halls of prestigious Princeton, from the ranks of the U.S. Army to a philosophy professorship at acclaimed Syracuse University, and ultimately to a lifelong call of ministry in a most unusual and unexpected milieu. Jackie's story is inextricably interwoven with that of his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Ruth, and their five children, for Jackie's dream to reach "those who would never set foot inside a church" with the gospel of Jesus Christ would fuel the entire family's endeavors for over thirty years. Ride along with the Robinson Family Singers and their extraordinary adventures as they follow God's call on their lives, crossing continents, mountains, and oceans to minister to the lost and hurting. This is a man and a family you will never forget. "This book tells much of Jackie Fay Robinson's story, though far from all. His life has been packed with dreams, daring, and disappointments enough to fill a dozen books. Love of life, love of family, love of country, and love of God. These are the four pillars on which this family has always rested, and they are all on display in these pages. The ministry they chose has been blessed again and again with stunning touches of what can only be called God's providence." This autobiography charts the author's path of faith from her baptisms in water and in the Holy Spirit as a young girl, to navigating her way through church philosophies and church hurts later. She sees that each event in her path led her to a stronger understanding of God and realization of Jesus in her life. The author writes of countless moments when churches would encourage certain behaviors that glorified God, but leaders wouldn't explain to her the importance of these behaviors to God. She writes with honesty and conviction that God is the only one to guide a person to what actions/words/thoughts glorify Him most. With several events to occur to the author's life, and those of family and friends, she credits God with guiding the way and displaying the truth of the situations through scriptures. She demonstrates that these events are not of our own doing, but that of a God who knows more than we do.

In 1926, while living in Russia, ten-year-old Lisenka and her family struggled to survive under Communist rule. When Commandant Chukov closed their Christian school, took their Bible, and began to stalk them for their Christian faith, they knew they must flee. Follow Lisenka and her family on their harrowing journey by oxen cart, train and ship to America. Even within sight of America, their dream was threatened. Throughout the book, Lisenka tried to believe the truth of God's promise, "All things work together for good to them that love God." This fictional story of a young girl's journey to religious freedom in the United States is based on actual events. My Story I grew up in a small Ohio town, attended a small Lutheran grade school and have a small-town attitude. After college and four children, I began to write, including the original version of this book. In 1995, my husband Tom and I started a group travel business, Tom's Christian Tours (TCT). My small-town attitude entered the jet-set age. TCT took me to all corners of the USA and to 75 different countries. Now in retirement, writing is again calling to me. www.lindajaneniedfeldt.com Endorsements "Reading Red carried me back more than 70 years to the stories that my mom told me. The book made me cry at the memories of her hardships and joys." - Gloria Pipping, daughter of German-Russian immigrant, Lydia Zangl "It's easy to recommend Red to kids because my students loved the riveting adventure. More importantly, however, kids should read it to learn, along with Lisenka, the value of religious freedom and the faithful fulfillment of God's promises." - Kris Walta, fifth grade teacher, Faith Lutheran School, Fond du Lac, WI
