The production of this book presented special obstacles for the author. The text was the easy part. Lissa has been in an epic battle with MS since 2001. In 2005, she lost the use of her left hand. Lissa is left-handed. After four years of letting the text sit fallow, her desire to share this story overcame her fear of failure. The illustrations for this book were done with her right hand. Lissa says the ability to illustrate the book was always in her, it just had to find another way out. It is her prayer that this book may be of help to many. This story has several themes and messages for children and adults, alike. The father gives the girl words to live by, just as our heavenly father does. The girl lets a friend influence her judgment. The friend uses abusive behavior to control the girl. Adults and children can learn what abusive behavior looks like. The book is intended to be used as a starting place for conversation about these topics. Lissa and her husband live in Nashville, TN. They have three grown children.

This book, Thinking While Sitting on a Pumpkin: with Fond Memories, is about the pleasant memories of a little girl who, throughout her developmental years, grew up in the rural south, as a member of a family of thirteen (13). This family was comprised of the father, mother and eleven (11) children. Her development was a product of the creativity that her parents, Rudolph and Virgie Mallory shared with the family. Dreams are related to creativity and to the imagination. In this book, one can see that the little girl's dreams and imagination can be tied to the creativity that was developed and fostered by the parents. Many things happened in the family, but this book is about the love that was shown between family members. This creativity was the method that Rudolph and Virgie used to assure success, harmony and most importantly the love that was used in the raising of their large family. "Thinking While Sitting on a Pumpkin: with Fond Memories" shows how creativity can be applied to all aspects of family life. It also speaks to how creativity can work hand in hand with the caring, nurturing and encouragement that was also expressed and shared with and by the extended family members and close family friends.

"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me when as yet there were none of them. How precious are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!" Psalm 139:16,17
TERESA BRIDEAU has worked in the Public Education System for over twenty years surrounded by children from ages 4 and up. She sees all children, even those who struggle with life, to be precious gifts. This book was inspired by a special friend whose family made her feel, "royal" whenever she was around them. She began to ponder on the idea of how everyone should be made to feel royal! After all, God Himself calls us, "a royal priesthood" (1 Peter 2:9). In A Special Tea Party, three young sisters experience a surprise guest who visits them as they toast their little tea cups to the "King of kings"! This book is sure to bring royal pleasure to the reader. Teresa has three beautiful grown children: Crystal, Matthew, and Justin along with several grandchildren and currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. KELLY KRAJEWSKI beautifully illustrates the story, bringing a taste of delicacies and delight to the royal theme. She captures the heart of the writer in the way she creates each character. The settings cause the reader to imagine himself or herself being right there. Kelly has two wonderful daughters, Candice and Lacie and a great husband, Dean. She is also blessed with five grandchildren. They reside in New Baltimore, Michigan .
Truth or Consequence reveals to all how important it is to understand the word of God. Instead of a Daily Devotion, the Lord revealed to me to write a Weekly Devotion. If you start the week off by confessing 1 scripture every day for 1 week, it will become life to you. It is in repetition that we can memorize and understand. Truths which are in the word of God will set you free from doubt, discouragement, depression and any problem you have. Mark 9:23,"If thou canst believe all things are possible." Trust Him to finish the good work that He has started in you There are many consequences when you don't believe. It is wise to ask God to help your unbelief. In Mark 9:24 a father was crying out for the Lord to heal his son, he said, "Lord I believe and help my unbelief." He felt he had unbelief and cried for help. Hebrews11:6,"Without Faith, it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him." My prayer for you is Abundant Life.

"No Sad Story" tells the saga of a little girl in 1933, raised by her mother and step-father, along with one sister and nine step-brothers and sisters, who married at fifteen, accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at sixteen, and birthed five sons and one daughter. No Sad Story tells the plight of a Christian woman, single mother of six, evangelist, survivor, and prayer warrior. Through pain, despair, loneliness, and periods of separation from her adulterous husband, a former pastor who abandoned their children, she truly worshiped God. Despite all the challenges she faced, and finally as she battled the AIDS virus, she didn't lose her faith in her Father God and always said, "No Sad Story!" "I had the privilege of knowing Mother Lawson in the early years of my ministry. In spite of her tragic circumstances she exhibited a triumphant attitude. Her courage inspires us all to endure whatever comes with grace and dignity!" Bishop TD Jakes June, 2014 Valerie Laverne Lawson-Watkins feels the mandate to tell her Mother's story to others who are challenged with the same plight as her Mother. Valerie was saved at the tender age of eight years old when her father preached in a revival. As the only daughter that was raised with her five brothers, her Mother was her best friend. This is the author's first book of many. Valerie and her husband Ronald Watkins, have two sons and two daughters, 6 grandchildren and one on the way. As an author, Valerie Laverne Lawson-Watkins can now thank her mother for living and showing her that she, too, can have "No Sad Story."
This book is an answer to God's call to co-labor with Him. It is shared dialog between the author and God. The call was to share His thoughts on some of His beautiful flowers. When it was finished it wound up being the author's autobiographical journey to spiritual wholeness and healing. (When you do something with God it always winds up being more than what you expect.) It is written as a forty-day devotional, filled with truths and quotes from God to be applied to life for spiritual transformation. Each chapter is illustrated with the author's own paintings. It will change your perspective to the way God sees things and deepen your walk with Him. Hear His call to deepen your intimacy with Him and co-labor with Him to fulfill His plan and your destiny. Diana Welchel's heart has always been wholeness and healing for the broken Bride of Christ. After many years of praying prophetically for people in Healing Rooms, God has brought her out to a ministry of reconciliation. Her and her husband have a visual worship center in rural Illinois. In this season, her life is filled with the art and writing that God has called her to co-labor in with Him.
Leaders across the globe are desperate for insight and instruction. Many begin their promotion into leadership excited but ill-equipped, without a clue as to how to lead. Good, well-intentioned men and women flounder. Entire organizations suffer. Training seminars are popping up to meet this need, but not all leaders can take the time or spare the expense to attend. All leaders everywhere can access Turnaround amid Chaos, begin applying its principles immediately, and have it as a ready resource to guide them in their leadership journey.
In a world rocked by global terrorism, school massacres, drive-by shootings, civil unrest and racial tensions so explosive they could be set off by static electricity, Jeanne Linville offers the one thing that is in short supply.Hope.Jeanne experienced her own Armageddon when her 39-year-old husband was rushed to a hospital where doctors fought for his life. After hours of waiting, she was told, “Mrs. Linville, your husband suffered a massive brain stem stroke. We did everything we could, but we couldn’t save him. I’m sorry.” In The Power of Hope in Hopeless Situations, Jeanne allows you a rare glimpse behind the scenes where she struggled for faith while staring at her husband’s dead body. And then, how she called him back to life.In this moving true experience, Jeanne Linville will make you laugh and bring you to tears. With homespun humor and transparent honesty, she will reveal the truth of those difficult days. In the process, she will remind you that even while living in an uncertain world, God’s Word is true, and it is certain. God’s Word will hold you and sustain you, no matter how life shuffled the deck of cards you were handed.
Are you ready to feel the presence of God in a more intimate way? Maybe you have had a corporate visitation and not individually. You may ask the question, "What do you mean corporately"? Let me explain. These are just a few examples of corporate assemblies; conferences, retreat, revivals, regular church services or the entertainment of Christian broadcast. We must not depend on others to escort us into the place where God is. So when the music stops playing, people stop singing, ministers stop preaching and your electronic device turns off. Can you still maintain the same atmosphere? This book will thrust you into a deeper personal relationship with God. It will release principles that will asset you to feel God's presence for yourself. Let us not waste any more time read this book and will cause you to carry God's presence wherever you go. Let this book become a motivator engrafted to propel you into Gods holy chambers. So tell the chauffeur you don't need a ride you want the keys. Tell the chef you don't want the menu you want the recipe. Show God you just want to be with him privately! It is more important to be alone with God and have everything, than to be surrounded by the crowd and still be empty. This book will guide you with applications that allow you to be content with being "Alone with God".
In this extremely relevant work, Dr. Perez relates the state of evangelism in today's Church to that of the first century Christians. He includes a concise yet thorough history of Christianity's first 400 years or so as an example of the changes and challenges facing present-day believers. He goes on to describe the beginnings of secular humanism and its far-ranging, increasing, and heartbreaking influence around the world today. The most significant element of this manuscript is that it is not another preach-the-gospel-into-the-world exhortation; it is instead a call to something much more challenging: the (often, and apparently inaccurately, attributed to St. Francis) advice to "Preach the gospel, and if necessary, use words." This is not to say Dr. Perez is in any way minimizing the necessity to proclaim the name of Jesus. Rather, he rightly asserts that "Evangelism, or the spreading of the 'good news, ' begins with you, the individual." Even more critical is the declaration that salvation is not a doctrine but a Person.
