"Lord, Your name is so great and powerful! People everywhere see YOUR splendor." May they see YOU in us! Psalms 8:1Watching Eyes are all about us as the world is looking on hoping to see truth and life. As Mothers and Fathers of the Faith we have a unique opportunity to shine brightly by demonstrating love to those around us as we press forth in victory during our darkest hours. It is easy to praise God when all is going well.Yet, it is when we go through our darkest times in our lives that we have the ability to be great witnesses as His glory is revealed. Our testimony is so powerful when the world sees righteousness in the midst of evil, peace in the midst of fear, and joy in the midst of sorrow.  Our witness is our life''s calling, as we are living epistles. It is my sincere hope that you will discover new spiritual insight and encouragement through this work as you press into the Lord and live your life fully aware that the world is watching. As a Christian psychologist who has worked with hundreds of children and adolescents experiencing problems with ADHD, Dr. David Miller has created a simple two-part workbook designed for these children and their parents. The workbook promotes several activities and illustrations for the child to color as they work through the workbook. These activities are designed to help children learn ten coping skills and ten additional helpful tools to better manage this condition.  Rather than see ADHD as a "disorder," the workbook promotes seeing it as a "condition" for which one can learn to manage.  Since children typically enjoy horses, the workbook is told from the main character''s perspective-ROWDY, a miniature horse who has ADHD. The coping skills are presented as "common horse sense" and "additional horse sense nuggets." By working through the child''s portion of the workbook, the child learns coping skills for better handling ADHD and avoiding the typical struggles and negative feelings associated with the condition. The parent''s section of the workbook contains many suggestions and resource ideas for expanding their knowledge of ADHD and ways to help their children learn coping skills. Since these concepts have application to the classroom, the workbook can serve as a resource to teachers as well as parents and other personnel working with children.
Go Get What''s Yours! Everyone wants to succeed in life: achieving goals and leaving a legacy from which others will benefit. However, for some ethnic groups, it is more challenging to accomplish their goals due to the odds stacked against them. Women of color comprise this group. In the minds of many, they rank beneath others. Customarily, their background is one of adverse circumstances and poor economic conditions, which in many instances, gave birth to unhealthy self worth. Consequently, many work harder and smarter to leave a favorable and an indelible imprint on society.    Even though women of color have to use more sweat equity than her counterparts to become successful and significant, there are powerful tools and principles that have been made available to them. Caretha Crawford''s book is one of those tools.    In her book, Determined to Succeed, she reveals a strategic plan for women of color or any ethnic group to live a successful life.     Using numerous biblical illustrations, experiences from her own life, and inspiring stories from twenty-two women of color, who faced oppositions and overcame each challenge, Crawford provides practical and spiritual guidance for building your confidence so that you can get what''s yours! Dr. Caretha F. Crawford is the founder and senior minister of The Gateway to Wholeness Church Ministries in Largo, Maryland, and the founder of In Pursuit of His Presence Worship Arts Ministries with locations in Largo, Maryland, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Decatur, Georgia. Crawford is an International Bible teacher and entrepreneur. She graduated from Winston-Salem State University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Maple Springs Baptist Bible College & Seminary, Capitol Heights, Maryland. She is the author of Dance, God''s Gift to You and Hold On to Your Dream!
Think outside the box. Basically, this means to think differently about a situation, either in problem solving or looking at something in a different light. In this book, the light, is the word of God.Anyone who is already divorced, or going through one now, knows disrupts and changes your life in a way that you never thought would happen. If you don''t understand the whole truth of how God deals with divorce, then what He says in the Bible about divorce and remarriage will force you to carry the emotional baggage associated with divorce, such as guilt, embarrassment, and in a some cases the feeling like you are unable to remarry if adultery was not the cause of divorce.   This type of teaching puts people in a box.  Misunderstanding the original Hebrew and Greek words on this topic from Jesus'' teachings, produces a lot of misconceptions and wrongful thinking. This book allows you to think outside the box, step into the light, and truly understand divorce from the very words of Jesus. The light will shine into the darkness of bondage that is created by the incorrect teaching on divorce and remarriage, and the truth will set you free!

The nation of Israel has played a significant part in the history of the world as God''s chosen nation. As a response to the growing anti-Semitic climate in today''s culture, this informative text sheds light on Israel''s vast historical and religious importance. The Bible makes very specific claims for the promises God made to the nation of Israel concerning its future. Presenting an all-inclusive view of relevant scripture, the book offers the biblical facts behind Israel''s history and future. Written to perform as a textbook, study aide, or outline for sermons, God''s Alarm Clock discusses the seminal topics surrounding Israel:• A breakdown of the content in the Abrahamic Covenant in its two parts• The Davidic Covenant concerning King David''s direct bloodline to the Messiah• Israel''s role among the nations of the world• The formation of the twelve tribes of Israel• The controversy of the Jews'' role as God''s chosen people and the varying ideologies regarding it• Jesus''s death, resurrection, and mission, as well as His relationship to Israel• God''s plan for humankind, as nations and individuals• The book of Revelations and Jesus''s second comingThis comprehensive book will explain it all and build a foundational knowledge of Israel that every Christian should have under their belt.   Mark T. Frost was born and raised on the Cape Flats in Cape Town South Africa. At the age of twenty-three and in pursuit of the Truth he started to read the Bible, a search that resulted in a meeting with the Lord of the scriptures Himself, Jesus Christ. A fervent student of the Bible with several years of Bible studies behind him, the author and a colleague went to Mozambique in 1989 to start training church leaders in that war torn country.Very early in his missionary calling Mark had a vision for the unification of the Church, the worldwide body of Christ, the biggest living organism in the universe. In cooperation with several international Christian organisations having as their main thrust leadership training within the church, the work steadily grew to include all denominations, both mainstream and independent, in the capital city Maputo. By the time Mark left Mozambique ten years later the work had expanded and covered most of the major districts in southern Mozambique. Today the author resides in Sweden with His family.
Within all of us there is the potential for greatness. It is hiding just below the surface, awaiting an opportunity to come out.Is your own vision of what your life should look like holding you back? Do you feel your unused potential boiling up inside you, with nowhere to go? Dana Trotter addresses these concerns in this eye-opening book that teaches you how to venture outside your comfort zone and truly live your best life. Much like in the coloring books in her youth, Trotter found the lines of her life restricting. Her dreams were not fulfilled, and she was not happy. She didn''t desire fame or riches, she simply wanted to live a life that God would approve and that brought her joy. Through her life experiences she learned how to let go of what she thought her life should be, and break out from inside the lines. In her book she shares how to unlock your full potential: • Letting go of toxic relationships• Accepting and moving on from hardship• Seizing the one life you are given and taking advantage of opportunities• Understanding the nature and limitations of loveInstead of accepting what you think your life has to look like, take the first steps toward genuine happiness. This book is both a relevant and a wonderful testament to the power of God in the lives of those who believe and trust in him. Simply put, it is life changing and will create life changing results for anyone who follows the examples within it. Reading Coloring Without the Lines will show you how to let go of perceived limitations, and live beyond the lines.  Dana Trotter brings energy, insight, and passion to everything she does. Dana is also striving to empower the people of God to reach their potential in God. She holds a Bachelor degree in Art from Ohio University. She also holds a Master in Religion from Cincinnati Christian University and is currently pursuing a Master in Education from Xavier University. She has been a part of Make It Plain Consultants since the summer of 2014. She is a minister and noteworthy writer. Coloring without the Lines is her premier book where she shares some of the life lessons that have allowed her to flourish. She attends Tyrus Christian Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Together StillLet me hold your hand as we go downhill. We ''ve shared our strength and we share it still. It hasn''t been easy to make the climb,But the way was eased by your hand in mine.Like the lake, our life has had ripples too. Ill health, and worries and payments due. With happy pauses along the way.A graduation, a raise in pay.At the foot of the slope, we will stop and rest, Look back if you wish, we ''ve been truly blessed. We''ve been spared the grief beingBy death, or divorce, or a broken heart. The view ahead is one Just a little bit farther, and then we can rest.We move more slowly, but together still.Let me hold your hand asWe goDownhill. In 1969, Daddy brought this poem home to mama one day from work. He cut it out of a magazine, wrote a personal note on it and framed it for her. From that day forward, wherever they went, mama packed this poem in its frame and took it with her. Since her death, we have looked everywhere for the original poem and it''s nowhere to be found. I kinda think mama has it with her. KarenDaddy''s personal note to mama was:"Blessed to have shared this journey together."
I grew up in a small town in Georgia. Sylvania, Ga. It''s a town that no one ever really heard of unless you were from Savannah or any of the other neighboring cities. I was the only girl of 4 boys. My mother and I took care of the house chores while my brothers did some of the field work. Every night my mom would have all kinds of people come over to fry fish and listen to music on my mom''s old fashioned radio that she got from one of the people she cleaned for. Times seemed to be great then.I grew up around a lot of people who were very religious. They always seemed to talk about spirits and demons. Some of them even talked about having moments where they saw people walking down the street and then they suddenly vanished into thin air. Sylvania was nothing like Savannah, Georgia. However, people always seemed to get the 2 cities confused. Sylvania was the deep country and Savannah was a little more advanced then we were. The one thing that both cities seemed to have in common was the abundance of strange things happening and strange people being seen and disappearing out of thin air.It was always said that Sylvania as well as Savannah, Ga was the vortex of the spirit world. Yes...Sylvania was alive with the energy of the dead and it didn''t have any preference as to who knew it. The stories of the dead roaming the city streets and dirt roads was the rumor all throughout our little town. I, for one, was not a believer of such things. Although I was and am still very religious, I didn''t believe in the dead roaming the earth to find souls to possess. However, in the spring of 1966 my world begin to change and my doubt about spirits and demons began to reveal a truth that I would never forget. This is a true story about my life and my encounter with the spirit world. Although the events in this story may seem to sound fictitious, these are in fact very real scenarios as they happened to me. This is my Truth. This is my life. This is my story.

What is an OverComer? Some may define the term as a person who surpasses a difficult challenge, but this type of overcomer is one that has chosen to surpass many challenges in surrender to Christ. Author Traci Holloman offers insight on Christian overcomers in her new book, The Spirit of the OverComer, where she encourages escaping the world''s strongholds through trusting in God and being obedient to Him. Using her testimony as support, Traci discusses finding freedom from past sins by letting go of the flesh and viewing life''s setbacks as growth opportunities. We, as Christians, should realize we are loved by a limitless God, who can break emotional ties to addiction and fears of the past with the fellowship of love and His plan for life. Recognizing this love prompts us toward grasping an identity in Christ and practicing sowing and reaping for God''s Kingdom, while overcoming the odds.
Optimistic books that trace God''s hands in real people''s lives are often popular, but this work will touch a special chord for readers whose family members or friends are tainted by addiction. This book focuses on how God directs our paths with seemingly insignificant events orchestrated to His will. Finding a lost Bible is the beginning of an amazing journey that would lead to miracles, friendships, and redemption. Full of twists and turns, the author''s true story takes off to unexpected places and interesting characters. Weaving multiple stories into the manuscript keeps it engaging, while common core characters keep it cohesive.  It''s written in a casual style that is very enjoyable to read.Xulon Press Editorial Dept. The stories in this book aren''t just stories about people''s lives, they are stories of how God intervenes in our lives. The Bible is a Pop-Up book that gives us pictures of God''s relations to mankind. Kay Gray does a wonderful job of capturing events in each of our lives that pull the lever and Pop-Up God''s Love and Redemption so that it can be seen clearly.T J DetwilerAn inspirational, heartwarming story that gives hope to the hopeless, and will challenge Christians to walk out their faith.Ron Corzine, Intentional Encourager
I didn''t intend to write or even put a book into print, but The Lord had other ideas. Enclosed are poems about my life, trials, worship, and family. I like using the four line poem verse to get across my thoughts. I feel the Lord inspired my writings, and I hope these verses inspire you.I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I currently am a truck driver. I enjoy my life with the Lord, my family, and my Harley motorcycle. I have had cancer and I do suffer from depression, which explains some of my poems. I will continue to write and hope to bring more to you.

This book is intended to document and clarify the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, thereby enabling them to live the abundant life that Jesus promised us. The importance of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, in the lives of believers, is ascertained by Jesus Himself in John 16:7-15.Jesus promised us that the Holy Spirit will comfort us while He is gone, and would lead us into all truth. The Holy Spirit also sanctifies us, and His manifestation is in the fruit of the Spirit. It is therefore extremely important for the body of Christ to rightly divide the Word concerning the ministry of the Holy Spirit.Although he always believed in God, even after accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior, the author succumbed to the wiles of the devil. For far too long, he struggled to develop a true and meaningful relationship with God the Father. It wasn't until I had learned to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit that relationship came to fruition.
He was adopted. At almost five, Paul Aubin couldn''t believe what his "parents" were telling him; he was an adopted child they loved very much, though weren''t related to in blood. However, it wasn''t until he was an adult that Paul began the search for his birth parents, one that would reveal scandal and heartache as well as redemption and purpose. In his autobiography, Secrets of the Father, Paul was a normal middle-class child raised on Long Island who happened to be adopted. After being ostracized by school peers for his size and adoptive status, he went on to be successful in pharmaceuticals in California and as a happily married father. A diagnosis of hyperlipidemia encouraged Paul to begin a search for his birth parents, at first for medical history reasons, but one that later revealed a cover-up in the adoption process and a secret romance within the Catholic Church.
"The Bible: Intelligent Design or Chance? is a brilliantly written book on the supernatural order and structure of the Bible (that consists of 66 books or scrolls) that was not the result of chance nor was there a council that convened to determine the order of the scrolls in the canon, but rather the result of the Supreme Ruler of the Universe who sovereignly determined the order of the scrolls in canon we call the Bible. Excerpt from the BookThen I heard the same voice again, He said, "Have you forgotten that you said I am the Greatest Surgeon? I am here to perform the surgery." The Lord showed me a picture of my womb, stretched out with the corners pinned to the wall. I saw dark patches all over the womb, similar to the color of the monthly flow I was experiencing at that time. The Lord stretched His hand, I saw Him use a water hose to rinse out and clean off all the dark patches in my womb. David Ford and I have been partners in ministry at Cumberland First Church of the Nazarene for thirty-plus years. I began my tenure at Cumberland, Maryland, when I was thirty-three years old. Over the years of my ministry at the church, I have come to love and appreciate a special ministry relationship with this seasoned man. I have often referred to him as Cumberland First''s "resident dreamer." David has on more than one occasion shared with me a vision that has challenged my heart. Not every dream has become a reality, but that does not reflect negatively on the dream or the dreamer. To dare to dream and allow God to develop a passion for that dream or vision inside of you is an attribute that I have come to value in David Ford. It is my prayer that God will continue to impress upon his heart things that others cannot see, and that he will share them with those of us who are partners with him in ministry. One way that God has gifted David to share vision is through his writings, and in particular, what he originally referred to as his "reflections." David has been the author of a number of devotional readings that have been shared with our church through the printed form and on our Facebook page, newsletters, etc. I have always anticipated that what he will share in one of his reflections will simply bless my heart or challenge me to press forward. I have particularly enjoyed the devotionals that have come as a series on one topic or passage of Scripture. You will enjoy the series he did on the Lord''s Prayer immensely. It challenged my heart when I first read them, and as we concentrated as a body of believers on learning how to pray as Jesus prayed corporately, referring back to those writings was affirming.I heartily endorse the time and effort you will take in reading this book. It will be a blessing to your spiritual journey. It will also present to you some great challenges as you allow God to continue to transform you moment by moment.Gary BarkleySenior pastorFirst Church of the NazareneCumberland, Maryland
BJ was born an innocent little Shih-Tzu puppy on a farm with his family, until he is suddenly taken away from all that he loves and thrown into the cruel world of humans. Join BJ as he tries to find his way back to his beloved farm and family but ends up going from home to home and from one name to another, looking for that one person that will love him and give him a good home. BJ quickly learns that the world is not all roses, as he endures much abuse to find his forever home. It seems as though BJ will never find love. Then one day something extraordinary happens that changes everything for BJ. He is in an accident and has an NDE. He is told that he must come back to earth for a specific purpose; to help a man that he has never met. He doesn't know who it is, or what the task is, and he must endure more hardships in his search to find his real purpose in life. A book for all of those who love animals. A book for all ages. A book that helps everyone to understand about pet loss, and what happens when a beloved pet passes. A fictional story based on some true events.
I was inspired by our son Ashish to share with everyone his amazing and truly motivating life that only a little one like him can inspire to so many hearts and souls. My goal is to give others who have lost a son or a daughter, a spouse, parent, grandparent, a loved one to give you the strength, faith, love, and hope that our son Ashish gave us when we lost him. It was as if the whole world for us had just stopped for a moment, but it was reality. We felt his angelic presence all the time, and we knew that this was God''s will and divine plan. Ashish had a beautiful purpose here on earth and as the days went by, each day we noticed it even more clearly through many miracles that we received and testimonies that we heard from other people who were also very close to him. This whole experience lead us to share his life with everyone, and to give comfort to those who have also lost a loved one. When we think that we are alone is when God''s hand is closest to us in many different ways. Through a family member, close friend or even people that you thought might never be there is when they become closer to you. It has been nine years that I have been writing this beautiful and inspiring book for the honor and glory of God. It was not me writing it but through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and may the Lord touch your heart and soul as you read it.
I believe there is evil in our world that causes loss, disaster, chaos, pain, hearth break, and more. It is an evil force that is in direct opposition to God. It divides families, influences critical decisions, and fuels greed and destruction. You can call this evil whatever you wish but you cannot deny that it exists, You have only to turn on the news and pay attention to what is happening in the lives of people everywhere to know it is real. I choose to call this evil the devil.
