Are you a Christian? Then you are probably very familiar with the Word of God. You've read the words on the pages and have "head knowledge" of what it says. But, if you are like the many who question their faith, you may not have the kind of experiential "heart knowledge" which makes the words come alive. You may lack crucial evidence in your thinking, attitudes, speech, actions, and reactions that would confirm you are who you say you are. You may struggle with your faith at times, you may backslide or go through periods of lukewarmness, or you may not be experiencing victory over sin. You may be asking questions like these: - How can I have the kind of relationship with the Lord that significantly changes my life, and what are the things that interfere with that happening? - How can I be new in practice and not just symbolically? - How can I have the kind of love I am supposed to have? - How can I be different enough from the world so that I may be a light to them? - Is it really possible to have victory over sin? - Is it really possible to have joy and peace in all circumstances? - What is the "abundant life", and how can I have it? God's children must know the answers to these questions! Join me in a study of the book of 1 John, and participate in an investigation looking for evidence to prove who you really are. This book is a "must read" for those who want to be transformed in their spiritual lives. Find out how to get where you want to be with the Lord because you, too, can become a new creation! May what you find lead you to life today and life eternal! "For if we searchingly examined ourselves [detecting our shortcomings, recognizing our own condition, and correcting our behavior], we should not be judged and penalty decreed [by the divine judgment]." 1 Corinthians 11:31

Encouragement Today is inspired by the words of the Holy Spirit in Hebrews 3:13, "But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness." My prayer for you, as you read these words daily, is for you to feel the power and presence of the Holy Spirit encouraging and cheering you on towards the High Calling in Jesus name. Growing up in the island of Trinidad and Tobago I was taught two key principles. The first, to love God including our fellow-man, the second, the benefits of learning. These principles have guided my life. I began applying them as early as Sunday School. Reading the stories about God, was the beginning of my love for Him and everyone. Teaching my friends what I learnt at Sunday School was exciting as I taught them what I learnt. I later on took this desire for learning into the academic world. I studied Religion, Business Management, Human Services, Public Administration. I took the LSAT (Law School Assessment Test) I was one of ten out of seventy selected for CUNY Law School Internship Pipeline Program. My success is a result of my inherent desire to learn. It is empowering as a God-given gift. I am fascinated as to how God has created us. We are created with an inherent desire to learn. Psalmist David writes we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalm 139:14. I believe each individual on this earth has an enormous capacity to learn; How? Holy Spirit, God's spirit in us. It is because of this I created GestACave an educational program. It offers solutions to stimulate the inherent desire for learning in children. Not every child likes going to the library to learn. I can attest to this. As a volunteer America Reads Tutor, Test Quest Teacher, Substitute Teacher for Emotionally Challenged Students and a New York School of Urban Ministry Vocational Bible Study Teacher and Coach I am familiar with challenges facing children in learning. The answers are in the foundational stages of their life. GestACave was created to help. Welcome to GestACave, may you and your families be blessed as you enjoy this series. Elizabeth
C.A. Grill lives in a small town in Michigan with her beloved husband. She spends her time doing her favorite things which include; writing letters to Abba, studying God's Word, serving the Lord by serving others in small ways, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and when time allows, cooking, sewing, quilting, and reading.
Yet trouble came, is an amazing journey through my life and how the Lord has helped me through many principles in the Bible on how to have the courage to with stand any obstacles in my life and choose to live anyway with Jesus on your side. I am married to a wonderful man, who is such and encouragement to me. I am enjoying my children, grand and great grandchildren. I am grateful that through trials and tribulations life has taught me too love, live, give and treat each person with respect and most of all too have a forgiving heart, because if you want Jesus to forgive you, then you must forgive others, some lessons you learn the hard way and one of them is when you nd yourself not able to forgive other's it because you have not learned to forgive yourself, so give yourself a break and love yourself, because Jesus love you.

This poignant and absorbing book is much more than a 'how to' on administering deliverance. With a broad and discerning brush, it paints a vivid picture of Christ's finished work, and guides us through a new dimension of understanding the work which He-the Lord Jesus Christ-accomplished on the Cross and the immense benefits therefrom which are available and accessible to the child of God. A book of great inspiration and perhaps the most helpful book for ministers engaged in the deliverance ministry. All of us can learn from Bishop Korfeh's experience and wisdom, because he knows the territory intimately and has given us the gift of sharing it. His readers are encouraged to apply its concepts and ideas directly to their own experiences and in so doing will evidence the change that will transpire in their ministry. I heartily recommend this teaching memoir, rich with Biblical insights, lessons, and examples. This book is a must read-a gem to be treasured. Rev. This book contains the prophetic words given by God to be delivered to the world. I pray that these words will resonate in the hearts and lives of His people. God has been my help, hope, and healer. He has been a present help in times of trouble. He has hidden me under His wings and carried me when I could not go any farther. He''s been my joy, my gladness, and my comforter. My peace, strength, and deliverer is He. The message to my readers is God''s unfailing love for us all and His instructions for us to continue to love one another. We must seek Him through prayer, praise, and worship. We must be obedient to His word. He will reward us diligently. God wants our hearts. He wants us to love one another as He loves us. More specifically how you can be an important part of that missing piece in helping to create this great "reawakening" which is coming. Every day is a day filled with pain, and the forgotten memories of a day that changed his life forever. Author Benjamin Heidengren survived a dangerous car accident, but was left with permanent brain damage that led to having anterograde amnesia and no memory of life since his 2011 car accident. In his new book, The Forlorn Hope, Benjamin describes the daily struggles he endures without his memory and constant pain, likening it to the forlorn hope detachment of soldiers during Revolutionary wartimes. However, Benjamin sees God''s purposes in his life of suffering: to fight for the glory of God and understand suffering like Christ suffered on the cross. Each chapter begins with a personal poem interpreting Benjamin''s knowledge of physical pain and the nature of suffering, followed by shared thoughts on his condition, daily challenges and advice to caregivers on encouraging their suffering loved ones to keep hope alive.

How does one become a Christian leader of excellence? Well, it is more than just proclaiming a desire to be one, but allowing God to shape that person''s perspective in every area of life. Inside author Alice Smith''s new guide for Christian leaders, Handbook for Leaders Moving in Excellence, she seeks to make readers aware of Satan''s deceptions as they move forward in becoming shepherds for lost sheep of God. Alice opens her book with encouragement for readers to repent to the Lord for any unconfessed sin they may have, so to become the examples of Christ they wish to embody toward those they disciple. Her book then progresses into deeper examination of forgiveness, handling offenses, quiet time with the Lord and other topics. Readers will feel influenced to not be self-righteous, but to depend on the Lord for every need. A leader of excellence must first lead through example.

This book was written to inspire the readers to never give up, because "The BEST Days are YET to COME." God has great things in store for us. All the promises God made to His people under the Old Covenant can be inherited by us under the New Covenant. As children of God, our potential and blessings are unlimited. Our inheritances are endless. We must not let a little suffering keep us from the great promises of God. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:18 (KJV), "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." In this scripture, Paul is saying to us that, he has done the spiritual accounting and come up with a mathematical answer for the balance sheet. He has counted the cost. The resounding results are in: the glory far exceeds the pain. The time frame of our present sufferings is short compared to eternity with God. The weight of our present trials is like a feather on the scale, which cannot compare with the glory that will be revealed in us.We must keep Heaven in view; knowing that something better is coming. In all our suffering, God is refining and preparing us for our great home in glory. Jesus said in John 14:2, "I go to prepare a place for you". The blessed hope of Heaven is our motivation to keep fighting and never give up. We will obtain the promise if we do not faint. Heaven is a very special place because it is the place where God dwells. It is a holy place for God is Holy. It is a place filled with glory, a place of peace, blessings, love, and joy. Are you looking forward to an indescribably, joyful eternity with Jesus?
Many aspects of human lifestyle have changed over the last century, but one that has recently brought controversy and attention is the redefining of marriage. Now, marriage is not only between a man and a woman, but is also considered matrimony between two members of the same sex. For Christians, this is not the intended purpose for marriage from God, and this change toward the viewpoint of marriage is one Christians should be ready to defend as part of their love for Christ.Author Richard Mayes seeks to aid Christians in waging credible defense in this biblical vs. liberal debate in his new book, The Evolution of Marriage. Utilizing a theological perspective in his discussion of marriage, Richard outlines his argument for marriage in its biblical origins through three reasons God established marriage: for God''s plan for salvation, procreation and human companionship.Richard allows these reasons from God''s Word, the Bible, to shape his argument that marriage is, and always will be, between a man and a woman, no matter what society dictates or determines. He uses scripture verses and words from recognized theological sources to show man and woman''s roles in marriage and how they exemplify the Church''s relationship with Jesus. The opposing arguments against biblical marriage and for same-sex marriages are also included in the book, allowing the counterarguments to be available to readers to show the differences in opinion. However, Richard makes it a point throughout his book to stand firm in his belief that when men and women honor God with their marriages (men as headship of household; women as helpmeets), it sets an example of how the Church should honor Christ in their words and actions. People may see marriage differently in today''s generation, but it will forever be seen by Christians as an eternal covenant made in God''s honor.
Are you awaiting the Rapture? At last, here are answers from the Bible for your burning questions:•What did Jesus and the apostles say about it?•How does it fit into the plan of salvation?•How does it relate to the Resurrection?•When will it happen? This Rapture investigation helps you to: •trace its historical roots;•locate it in all monotheistic faiths and; •connect it to the mark of the beast. The Rapture: from genesis to revelation unveils the end-times repeat of the extra-marital affair in the Garden - another ploy by the wannabe husband to seduce the espoused bride into consummating the marriage before the advent of the true husband. As a member of that bride therefore, are you a foolish virgin who gives in to the Rapture or are you a wise virgin who waits patiently for the Glorious Appearing? Claudius Emmanuel is a debut author who has been an avid student of the Bible for more than 30 years. He grew up in a denominational setting but has come to appreciate the importance of anchoring his life on revelation from the word of God.He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus Jamaica, from which he earned a Masters in International Business (2000).
