"A New World is Coming!" informs the reader of what the new earth and heaven will be like and how to be ready for the major changes that will very soon be upon us. I feel compelled to inform mankind of the glorious new world that is soon coming. So many people are not ready for Christ's second coming. People from all ethnicities, races and religions have a short time to prepare for this major end time event that has been so long awaited. I was initially prompted a few years ago to write this book when God showed me in a dream the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven through the clouds. I had written a part of this book back in 2002, and printed up my writings for family members and friends. Since then so many end time events have taken place, people need to be informed now of what is coming. People need to be made aware about the 'GREAT and TERRIBLE DAY of the LORD'. Christ's second coming will be great for some, and it will be a terrible day for others. You need to read this book to discover how you can ensure your right to eternal life with God in the New Jerusalem that is soon coming.

On a hot Friday in 2007, childhood friend and rising builder Ryan Latham strolls into Gray's office with an opportunity that could set them up for life. Gray senses something is wrong: The housing market is already over-inflated, the banks are tightening up, and interest rates are spiking. After Ryan leaves his office, Gray digs deep. Behind the massive returns projected is nouveau riche real estate developer and well-connected Sharoush Kavusi, who walks with titans and funds his projects with government-backed loans and shady foreign money. Things get hotter than a Texas summer when Gray is hit with a personal crisis. Can he wrestle with his own moral shortcoming while trying to unravel the twists and turns of Latham's high-stakes game? Gray redoubles his efforts to find the righteous way and enlists his mentor law Professor Jeremiah Wynn; his fly-boy-turned-JAG-lawyer Ace Hancock; and his insightful friend and confidant Ali Faruq, a former Lebanese Muslim who converted to Christianity as a result of Gray's witness. Burning the midnight oil and pursuing the truth with the help of his trusted sidekicks, Gray finds himself awash in something more sinister: Kavusi is intent on revenge against enemies near and far, and has woven a web of unspeakable destruction. Can James Houston Gray find the will and the way to set things right, and save himself and his friends before the wolves lurking in the darkness devour him? With the help of FBI Agent John "Ram" Ramirez, on loan from SEAL Team 6 and bent on revenge of his own, he has a chance. A slim one. davidgroce.com

This unique and well needed collection of prayers is presented as a thirty-day challenge for employees to engage in daily prayer for their employer. Charleen Goombs believes by regularly praying for your employer, you will see uplifting changes in your mindset toward your employer/bosses and work situations. She is encouraging others to see the significance of praying for employers. Before beginning the challenge, the "Thank You" page defines the tone of this book in a simple but stimulating way; being thankful for the benefits a job can bring. This will prompt thought into readers on what their job provides for them and set the challenge by saying a simple thank-you. Each day's challenge is not written in a way to demean our employer, but to ask for God's wisdom and direction in situations. Each challenge reflects a specific theme revolving employment (unforgiveness, temptation, humility, pride, integrity, etc.), while the content is shaped according to choice scripture verses. This will be an effective way for readers to become familiar with the truths behind the scripture verses, as well as how to implement this spiritual understanding into their daily prayer lives.

  • av Professor Paul (Indiana University) Newman
    207,-

It all began with Adam and Eve, with their choices to disobey God and give into Satan's lies about God's plans. Due to their choices, generations have carried an Adamic nature, which was rectified through the Second Adam, Jesus. Author Paul Newman seeks to educate readers on how Adam and Eve are similar to Jesus and the Church in his new comparison study, The 2nd Adam and the Deception of His Eve. He begins with detailing Adam and Eve's creation in the image of God, instilled with a free will. Since God doesn't force His love on people, Eve's deception by Satan occurred through her free will and not knowing God's Word. Paul continues to draw comparisons among several Bible stories, relating them to Jesus and His Eve, the Bride of Christ. The vulnerability of Eve is in us, until we remember we are saved by His grace through Jesus.

A song was given to me as a gift Straight from Heaven's throne. It made its way into my heart And there it made a home. . . The Songbird is just one of many poems in this book derived from the true "Author" and written from a Christian perspective. Through the guidelines of the nine fruits of the Spirit, each poem is meant to encourage, inspire, and uplift the reader. All of the poems in Parts One and Two are meant to bring Glory to God, and were written with that intent. God's love is more powerful than one may think! He introduces His love through a lovely thing called Grace. Grace is favor from the Lord that no one deserves. Faith in God can only come from God. Salvation is the gift that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. One can be saved when he confesses with his mouth and believes in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead. for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Saved by Grace, through Faith is described as a poetic gift.

Rev. Bruce Cook's life is a testament to the transforming power of a spirit-led walk of faith, so it is only fitting that his latest work powerfully remind us all that the path to a Christ-like life is found by staying in step with the Spirit. In this engaging and inspiring book, Rev. Cook mixes pointedly compelling anecdotes with clearly dawn, accessible theological of the Holy Spirit. Heart-felt and deeply satisfying, I pray In Step With the Spirit will renew each reader's passion for a life that is never out of step. William H. Coffey, JD, MA, Bible Teacher Dr. Cook's treatment of the Holy Spirit taught me things I did not know about the Holy Spirit and Trinity. His section on Technology and the Arts was very illuminating because he sees a message and metaphor for Spirit in modern films that I have never seen more clearly depicted. This book can sharpen a believer's faith and challenge the unfaithful to take a serious look at the reality and presence of the Holy Spirit. It is written from a retired UMC Chaplain's experience with the elderly, prisoners and crime victims. Steve Maddox, Retired Song Executive Vice-President, Pictures and Television This book stretched my mind to include Biblical understandings, terms, and theological concepts about the Holy Spirit that I had never considered before. The idea that the Holy Spirit is limitless and free to guide us today with many ethical decisions we face is helpful and encouraging to me. Jane Ann Harper, Retired Teacher

Does an operation table change our perspective on life? Well the operation table in my life did. I am one of 10 in my family and have been raised in the church since the age of 10. My years growing up we're an adventure but the fear of the Lord never left my side. I lived my life as most young men an woman did, who were eager to explore the world. I made plenty mistakes along the way but thought nothing of it. As a young man I began to forget about God, at least the things I knew were wrong. Until I was diagnosed with a heart conditioned that stopped a boxing career only God knew was not for me. No matter how good or athletic I thought I was, God will always know best. This condition has ever since been bitter sweet. Bitter because the moments of reoccurring symptoms are filled with tremendous concern and worry, but sweet as a reminder that it is important to serve the one and only true God for no time is promised to any of us. I will always thank the Lord for this has allowed me to understand the importance of Walking Away From Yesterday. The sin we willingly commit daily must be cut from our hearts so we can see the importance in serving the Lord. My mission since then is to minister in music and writing, and share what the Lord God has done in my life. I desire to decrease while he increases, and share his Word for he is the only way to salvation. My goal is to share and minister with all youth and adults from all over the world that God is first. I wish to see every youth as faithful servants to Jesus Christ for tomorrow is not promised but eternity in heaven is promised for all those who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior!
