As is often the case, life-changing decisions are made and the consequences are great! A new unofficial partnership is forged after the young man embraces the faith of the man of God. Insert yourself into this story of adventure as a boy works hard to become a man and discovers his meaning and purpose in life. The author actually faced many of these types of situations this boy lived out and over came. To many he is known as the 'Chainsaw Man' and talks to people about avoiding Life's greatest disaster.

All of creation seems to understand how the Kingdom of God operates except mankind. Man believes the Kingdom operates in a manner similar to way in which the world operates; a manner of obligations where one action requires an opposite and equal reaction. This is what Job believed and it couldn't be further from the truth. In God's Kingdom, increase occurs when things are given away, hatred is overcome by love, revenge is not an option and God never has to ask our permission to use us. Satan is well aware of how God's Kingdom works and he is also aware of our ignorance to it. This he uses to his advantage. PLOTAbigail Whitby is introduced as a recent widow of a Methodist Minister with a knack for crossword puzzles, a love for mystery novels, and too much time on her hands. She sets out to discover the origins of an unknown masterpiece painting, meddle in her daughter's martial affairs, and solve a puzzling bank robbery all in the same week. 'The Hidden Masterpiece' is story woven with life's experiences grounded in a steadfast faith in God and the human condition. It's a story of love built on the foundation for the caring of others as well as a lesson in forgiving grace. Abigail's adventure takes her from the jungles of the equatorial tropical forest to the cobblestone streets of a medieval Polish city in her search for the truth and her lost past. In the end she finds that solving mysteries isn't nearly as satisfying as discovering herself after a lifetime of secrets and deception. Robert Stevens is a father of seven children and grandfather to two more. He lives in northern Alabama with his wife and the two children still at home. He works as a consultant for the government and enjoys most his weekly Sunday school class of four and five year old children.
From Darkness to Light, from a rough answer to a soft voice...We all have questions about the things we say and the way we act and why we do the things we do. This book will shed a little more light on how we are to act and speak.Pernell Stoney was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write this book as a testimony of what the word of God revealed to him in his studies and life. After rewinding his life, it became clear to him that his way of life of living in the dark and being bitter had to change. Living the way of the world was not the way or answer. He read Psalm 51:10 and asked God to come to him, and from that point on things began to change. Now he wants to help others make the change they need in their life. Hosea 4:6 will let you know why you are disobedient to God's word and still living in darkness with no positive salt in your life.

Every person has thoughts about his/her existence; what he/she was purposed to do in life and how God fits into this equation of destiny. Such pondering on this existence quandary could cause one to reach the point of utter mental exhaustion, or to begin a path that leads one further away from God. What benefits these important matters of the heart most is consulting the Bible and learning what God believes a person should follow of guidance and spiritual wisdom. In the new book Simple Truths, author Shaun Peavy chooses several topics to discuss that are noted areas of concern and uncertainty among people. He begins his book with a heartfelt dialogue about free will, explaining that free will is a gift from God that people have somehow re-directed to mean they can do whatever they want without consequences. Shaun reminds readers though that the only way to redeem one's choices, and use free will as God intended, is through accepting Jesus into one's heart. Other discussion topics in the book include disguised demons in life, the sins of busyness, and the dangers that come from hate and anger. Shaun expounds on each chapter point with scriptural truths, as well as personal experience, to relate the guidance God wants believers to follow to break out of the darkness. Simple Truths seeks to provide an open forum to readers to compare their beliefs of life's situations with that of the author's presentation of God's truths; with the hope that those reading will adopt the beliefs and change their lives in the process. It is not easy to question certain matters of life when you aren't sure how the questions will be received, or how you will be treated for asking. However, these questions have Simple Truths available to align God's truths with today's questions to provide tomorrow's answers.
The Christian nonfiction book Wretch: Haunted by Shadows, Rescued by Jesus focuses on the author's own story of healing from sexual and physical abuse he experienced as a young boy. In a series of personal essays, Sean Wheeler explores the depression, low self-esteem, negative thoughts, and self-destructive actions that stem from his abuse. He discusses the real life effects of sexual abuse, such as trouble maintaining relationships and jobs. Depending on his faith in God and God's love for him, he began finding answers to his questions such as "Why did this happen?" and "Why would God let this happen to me?" In a raw and emotional description of what the long road to recovery looks like, Sean Wheeler writes about his experiences, from the obstacles to finding the right kind of support center, to visiting a therapist, to confronting his memories. Writing from the perspective of a man in a situation that often stigmatizes men and boys for wanting help, he aims to help other men find the courage and strength to look for their own healing. Christian life, men's issues, childhood abuse, therapy, male abuse survivors, overcoming abuse with God, Christian abuse recovery, redemption, overcoming fear, shame, guilt.
Mark listened to the "wop-wop" of the helicopter's blades. He had lived on a farm before marriage and joining the Air Force. How had he come this far, from a boot heel cotton farm to the rice paddies of Viet Nam? He could never think of himself as brave or fearless as he watched Charlie's movement, there in the deep forest. He was reconnaissance and he was scared. The enemy was getting closer and he had seen movement out in the field and thought he heard the sound of a baby's cry. As the helicopter's sound became stronger he saw the child dart from the thatched hut, an adult on its heels and he knew enemy eyes were focused on the movement, too. There was no other way to run, but from the enemy straight toward Mark with shots pelting the ground and the churn of air from the helicopter coming in for him. How was he to know saving the lives of mother and child would become only a memory of a war that had taken him from a good job, a new wife and a son to be born while he was away, to return home to a bleak future, void of promise? There was no hero's welcome, when he returned. He would never understand those who spat at him, while calling him and his buddies, "baby killers." His country had called and he had answered. Now as he struggles to gain control of his life, the old relationship suffered as a boy with his father simmers. When illness strikes, neither he nor his father are prepared for the ravage it will take with Mark's life. But Mark's faith becomes the Savior he shares with those he meets. Few have not met Mark Buchannan.

Near the end of their journey was Jericho. Look at what the Lord said specifically: "I have given into thine hand" (Joshua 6:2). Notice with me it is not going to give, but already given. All God's people had to do was keep marching. Victory was already sealed and secure. Dear friend, are you at the wall of no way out? Keep praying Praising Dancing Singing Fasting, note: fasting puts prayer on steroids and hastens the answer to prayer. REMEMBER, All the hell you are going through is worth the heaven you're going to. Daniel's posture in chapter six is surreal yet significant. His physical posture mirrored his spiritual posture. Joshua took his Jericho! Daniel, a slave, became president of Darius' kingdom. Their posture gave them a positive and powerful perception of the future. God is preparing you for double in your trouble. Just as Job experienced, when life gets its worst, God gets his best (Job 42:10). Allow me to let charge, challenge and change help you in your preparation.

After a short career as an aerospace engineer with NASA, Tom switched careers to medicine and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1968. The career change was prompted by his brush with polio in 1952 at age fourteen when the dedication of those in medicine caring for him made a great impression. Though left with considerable weakness in his back and legs, he was able to cope with the rigors of medical education, postgraduate training, and private practice. However, the residual of polio advanced over the years and now confined to a wheelchair, he was forced to abandon a very enjoyable and gratifying career caring for infants, children and adolescents. Reflecting on his life, he realized there were many unique experiences that should be recorded for posterity. Along with those experiences, as he pondered conditions in our country, the world, and evolving cultural values, random thoughts emerged. Hence, the title of this endeavor. According to Tom, it is very likely future writings on random thoughts will be forthcoming. Tom Wasserbauer is a physician who retired in 2010 after forty years in the practice of pediatric and adolescent medicine. He was born and raised in northeast Ohio and lives with his wife, Rita, in Fairview Park, Ohio. They raised four sons and one daughter, all who now have successful careers and stable families. Tom and Rita have eight grandchildren, all living close enough to enjoy often.

In the hustle and bustle of our daily life, we often fail to stop and ask ourselves - what is life all about? Is there a meaning and purpose for my life? We often equate the measure of success with the wealth that we accumulate, or the power and influence that we have in society. Are they the true measure of success? Do these satisfy the deep needs in our lives? If not, what does? The key for unlocking the door to abundant life is not material, but spiritual - deeply spiritual, because human beings are fundamentally spiritual in nature. Our thoughts, words actions, emotions, and desires are external manifestations of who we are internally. Jesus is very clear on ho we can obtain this abundant life. It is through a loving and vibrant personal relationship with God.
Always pushing the boundaries, Paul Flynn grew up looking for more-more fun, more of a rush, more trouble. In Sikeside, Scotland, he didn't have to look far. By high school he was already drinking alcohol, smoking cannabis, doing LSD, and looking for anything else that he could get into. Despite growing up in a devout Catholic family with loving parents, Paul couldn't stop the voice in his head that pushed him to try all the drugs he could find: heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines-his thirst for drugs was unquenchable. His teenage years unraveled into missed court appointments, depression, and bad decisions. Even after a death-defying accident at age fifteen that left him on life support with a hole cut out of his skull and serious brain damage, the drugs just grabbed him with a tighter fist. Through it all, though, he felt God's hand on him. He knew God was there. His life turned into a blur of depression, paranoia, prison and chaos. He no longer lusted after the drugs, but they controlled him nonetheless. Paul joined a rehabilitation program, but kicking years-long addition to drugs, alcohol, and sex wasn't as easy as it seemed. Wavering in and out of programs, he slowly, finally, began to see past the imperfect people running the programs and see straight into God's will for him. Paul's moving story shows just how winding the path to salvation can be. There is no magic bullet, and no one is perfect, but if you go toward God and listen to His voice, you will find the love, acceptance, and strength that you never could in addiction.
The Christian narrative combines the biblical accounts of Jesus's birth with fictionalized descriptions and characters to offer an easy to read version of the well-known Bible story. A historical fiction version of how Mary and Joseph become married and how Jesus is born, the book attempts to bring the story alive like it has never been told before. A great book for men, women, and young adults, the story is timeless and presents biblical characters in new ways and in new light. The author writes to show Mary as a mature, loving, spiritual woman who showed great courage and faith at a very turbulent time in her life. Consulting the Old Testament of the Bible and The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah by Alfred Edersheim, the author weaves together a plausibly historically accurate account of how Jesus came to Earth. The book intends to read between the lines of scripture and describe the characters of the Bible as real, dimensional people in how they interact with each other and with their own unique obstacles. The book touches on faith, belief, God's Word, Jewish holidays, Jewish texts, God's presence, Egypt, Holy Spirit, Moses's Law, the Torah, Zechariah, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Luke, Hebrew.
Two families in Seattle, one American and the other Japanese-American, face the upcoming World War II. Both families have sons who are affected by the war and by the prejudice that roiled the Seattle community and sent one family to an internment camp. As they work together to chase down a persistent Japanese spy, they face danger and death, but a wound leads one of them to find love, even in the clamor of war. The author was raised on Beacon Hill in Seattle, and saw the barrage balloon on the golf course and the camouflaged Boeing plant. He saw the gold stars placed in many windows and his classmates being hauled off to internment camps.

But there are times when we feel as though we are going through something that we can't explain to others; But God... shows up, and gives us miracles, and stories that can't be explained. No matter our circumstances there will always be a But God... that can change your life.

To respond with radical obedience by going where God sends me to preach the gospel through my actions, my words, my deeds and by loving the unlovable. To do God's will in my lifetime."
