The following questions, which have been in my mind for over fifty years, will be answered by a careful study of the Bible. Was Judas predestined to betray Jesus?Did Judas have a choice about whether or not to betray Jesus?Could he have done differently than he did?"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance? (2 Peter 3:9 NKJ) Does this verse apply to all except Judas?Did Jesus choose Judas as an apostle to betray Him?Was Judas ever in a relationship with Jesus? What about the three "prophecies" in the Old Testament which are applied to Judas? Is there more than one type of prophecy? After Judas betrayed Jesus, could he have repented? Was Judas a villain or a victim? The ministry of salt is a book about ministry and is for, the purpose of teaching, leadership of how to understand why Jesus called us the salt of the earth and how we are to minster that salt to one another. In general, the teaching of ministry is about the word of God and this is just and right. However, this book is about the words of Christ that He spoke unto them "You are the salt of the earth". This phrase should be of great value for it relates that you of great value in the sight of God.This book is also about the various ways of describing the ministry naturally and spiritually in human thoughts, feelings, and opinions!

Scripture passages are included on every page, with biblical study from both the Old Testament and the New Testament. My name is Linda Lawson, I was born with the name of Linder Laverne Kizee on June 27, 1953 in Blairs Virginia to an uneducated sharecropper and housewife.  We were dirt poor and lived off the land.  I had four brothers and two sisters.  In 1958, we abruptly left Virginia and moved to New Jersey with nothing but the clothes on our backs.  For years I''ve searched for the answer to this mystery, but to no avail.  It took a lot of strength and courage to endure life''s hardships and difficult circumstances.  Life has been like a rocky roller coaster ride, with its unexpected turns, bumps, ups and downs.  Through life''s experiences, I found out that life is what you make of it.  You can either bear down beneath the load or you can stand up, fight and be a survivor.  That''s exactly what I chose to do - fight! When I was six years old I connected with God and He never left me.  He was with me through the hard times, the dysfunction and life''s lows.  Even though my family was dysfunctional, I decided that I would be different.   I learned that you can be born into dysfunction, but you don''t have to become it. My faith in God gave me the courage to fight and win.
Who could make anything of this mess? Whether it's your life, your marriage, your career or your faith, it's hard to find the light in the darkness. However, to Jesus, you are made in the image of God and He will turn the messes into His masterpieces. This thought is further explored in From Messes to Miracles, the latest book from author Janine Uhl. Narrated by Jesus, the Lord leads readers through the spiritual understanding that we face a battle of self or God, struggling to see we have worth in Jesus. As we establish a relationship with Jesus, He shows there is strength in trusting God and being one with Jesus as Bridegroom and Bride. Each chapter expounds on this truth that God turns messes into miracles and by seeing through spiritual eyes on our situations, we can comprehend that Jesus is the way to truth, life and love.
I remember, when I was a young Christian, how I wished somebody would tell me, in a practical way, how to apply the doctrines of the Word to my everyday life. It seemed that all the teaching and books were on doctrine, which was wonderful and needed - however, I wanted badly to know how to make it work effectively and become what Jesus wanted me to be in my life. This book takes the two verses in Romans 12:1-2 and makes a practical application of them in our daily walking, talking, working, family living, praying, and studying lives. I have shared what the Lord has shown me about what happened when I was born again and how daily growth really takes place in us as we renew our minds through taking in the Word of God - and, thus, become transformed - totally different than just 'trying really hard to do everything right'. I believe this is really GOD'S WAY OF BECOMING TRANSFORMED!! This book also includes a Study Guide, which is helpful for small groups. GLORIA HARTMAN was in the pastoral ministry with her husband for many years and has been involved in teaching and preaching the Word of God, as well as church administration, leading worship, prayer meetings and Bible studies. Through that work in the ministry, she raised two children, moving around with her husband several times. She had her own radio teaching ministry on a Christian radio station for a period of time and, through that avenue, began speaking throughout the area in which she lived. Since her husband's homegoing, she has been doing the writing which has been on her heart for most of her life. She writes concerning what she has learned about God and herself. JOURNEY IN GRACE was her first book; CHOOSING FOR A CHANGE was her second; and now, COMING OUT OF THE COCOON is her third. Let's admit one thing, "Nobody has all the answers". There are many out there that will argue their point as if they know everything, but most of us have questions that may cause us to doubt if we truly have faith or if we are even a "real" Christian.Loving God Without All The Answers - Hope For Even Me, is the story about a man who experienced a roller coaster relationship with God. He found himself giving up on being a Christian, not because he did not believe there was a God, but because he did not understand some very difficult questions that nobody could answer. He prayed that God would take him from the earth.God gave him the choice in February 2011, when he found himself in the throes of a massive heart attack. In the more than hour wait for the cardiologist to get through the frozen streets to the hospital, he determined that he wanted to stay under three life-changing conditions. These conditions were accepted by God and the changes that happened after the heart attack has been nothing short of a miracle. Our hope for this book is that people who have given up on God or given up on themselves, will identify that they have a purpose and that God wants to have a relationship with them. We want people to realize that maybe they think too much and that God is open to a relationship, even if they aren't absolutely sure who God even is. We pray that people will see themselves in the lines of this book and that they will come to Jesus as a little child, innocent and open hearted.

Higher education in a war zone? It's what an assortment of educators from Baylor University sought to do in Northern Iraq during 2003-2007, the perilous first years of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The desire to help Iraqi Kurds stand tall again as Iraq post-Saddam was the goal for many within Baylor's faculty, several of whom had been in wartime environments before. One of the trip's lead participants was William Mitchell, who recounts in his new book, Baylor in Northern Iraq During Operation Iraqi Freedom, their five expeditions into Iraq to connect with Iraq's Dohuk University in training educators and shaping the curriculum for higher education. Through a collection of interviews, journal entries and research articles, William pieces together the unbelievable experiences of the journeys: beginning with the timeline of Iraq's past to educating and encouraging Sunni, Yezidi and Christian refugees to see education could be the start of changes to come.
Everything that you do is affected by the attitude that you have. All that you do and say is being observed by others. The observation is being done when you are unaware. Someone is always watching you. Your example is so important. Godly attitudes lead to right choices. Ungodly attitudes lead to wrong choices. In this book I focus on eleven attitudes that God teaches about in the Bible. As we cultivate these attitudes we will see how God will bless us and make our lives successful. I look at faith, prayer, patience, obedience, meditation, humility, passion, forgiveness, gratitude, compassion and love. For each I give examples from the Bible of how God promoted the lives of those that developed one of these attitudes in their life. This book will help you to position yourself in God so that you can gain the altitude that God intended for you. Your attitude determines your altitude. A Godly attitude will enable you to become the person God intended you to be. Yves Carrenard is the Founder and Pastor of Rhema Ministry, He holds a Masters degree in Christian Counseling. C.V. Skeete is from a South American country called Guyana. A partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, with the teaching I can say has opened my spiritual eyes. Years ago an elderly woman told me you are a priest, I laughed but this woman continued to say this to me every time she sees me and today it has happened. I never knew serving the Lord was so exciting. My first wife would always invite me to church. My reply was you and those devils try to get me there. Why I would say this? There were two sisters in that church who would go up and sing solos, but do not speak to each other. Then came my rude awakening, my father took ill, my late wife said to me, weed the yard because I have seen two casket in a dream. Then came some words from her to me so you go to church. That was like a command. She took sick also. My father's sickness lasted for two weeks, my late wife four days. They both died the same day, four hours apart. Then I realized there is someone greater who could snatch the breath out of our nostrils. I started going to church, gave my life to the Lord, and decided to be baptized after a Christmas day service. While going home from church the vehicle broke down. The vehicle was now on a towline. The driver tried to avoid a hole in the road and the vehicle toppled on its side in a trench. Thank God there wasn't plenty of water in it, so everyone got out safely. We managed to get the vehicle out, and there was no damage done to it.Now remember, I was going to be baptized with my daughter, Anata, and others. I said to myself, devil you are not stopping us to be baptized and so we did, about eleven that evening by two pastors who were in the vehicle. One of the people baptized is now my wife, Amelia Roxanne Skeete, and we have three lovely children, Solomon, Judah, and Nubia. To God be the glory.
He was an introvert from birth, suffering classmate name-calling; he was a homeless teen told to leave by his family; he was the high school dropout without a path to choose. With all these trials that author Warren Jackson experienced in his life, he wonder if God was there in the trials. Yet in his published testimony, Real Life, Real Problems, Real Jesus, Real Victory, Warren describes seeing God evident in his life, aiding him to overcome the enemy through a personal relationship with Jesus. Raised by a single mother with five children, Warren struggled with his introvert nature and found himself homeless and school-less at age fifteen. However, the promise of God to remain with him through trials brought help by the church and encouragement for school by his godmother. Even when dealing with his wife's breast cancer and starting his own church, God was still there for him.
Thomas J Patrick has been a life long resident of Northeastern North Carolina. Raised in a small farming community, the world seemed so far away almost as distant as the planets themselves. This all changed on October 9, 1980 when he had his "one on one" with Jesus Christ. In a matter of minutes a new creature with a new purpose emerged. The world became somewhat smaller when he left for New York to attend Long Island Bible Institute. This proved to be an exercise in faith that is still to this day priceless. During those years Christ became more personal and intimate, the essence of life itself. And now after thirty-six years in ministry, he takes a glimpse back so that others may learn to better appreciate all the trials and moments of dismay. If we truly believe that we can make lemonade out of lemons, then just think what can be accomplished when we begin to see our struggles through God''s eyes. Just trust the Lord Jesus and be blessed.
This book has addressed one of my greatest passions in life and that is to see people have Great Life and Great Peace, and Make their World Great. With all that is going on in the world today, the terrorist attacks (by the ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko-Haram and many other isolated groups), to talk about having peace seems outrageous, not to mention having great peace. Fear and panic have become the order of the day. Adding to it the economic crisis, people are now in a survival mode; it seems almost insane thinking of making your world and life great. Questions are asked about the hope of the future generations. This Book addresses how to overcome the world's pandemonium. It shows you "How to live in Great Peace and Make your World and Life Great." It reveals the "Five spiritual Laws of Life in Christ that will give you Great Peace" anywhere in the world. It covers the "Foundations of Great Peace and Great life; Unveiling the Home and Covenant of Peace; How to operate in the supernatural realms of glory; How to be Glorified in Christ by Great Grace through Faith; How to Conduct Supernatural Litigations in Heavenly Court to seek redress and obtain all that you have lost" and many more. This Book is a recommended read for all who need Great Peace in this present world and How to make their World and Life Great. The Author Bishop Dr. Ezimah Oden has written over fourteen books on the supernatural life and graceful living through faith, God's kingdom prosperity, love, favour and prayers. He is the Superintendent of Global Message of Hope Mission International - the Centre of Abundant Life Miracles; with a mission to restore Life, Hope and Joy. He is an accredited Coach for Abundant Life and Wealth Creation. He is also a Glory Intercessor with a divine mandate to "Equip Present Generation and Multiply Glory upon believers in Christ Jesus". You can read more about him inside this book.
Too many days of darkness and despair, yet you keep whispering words of hope reminding me you are there. Too many nights of crying and praying with so little sleep, I feel you gently wiping my tears as I silently weep. The enemy raging, my home, my health at risk; Spiritual warfare is needed, can't quit, I must persist. As I continue to pray he tries to rage and resist, but he quivers and weakens as God's words leave my lips.

Gloria Taylor Vega was a hard working 55 year-old woman who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Then one day out of the blue she was blindsided by brain cancer. The diagnosis wasn't good but she had never backed down from anything in her life before and she wasn't about to start now. Over the next three and a half years she endured multiple brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, various treatments and a wide range of medications. She fought with such conviction, faith, strength, courage, love and a will to live like nobody you have ever seen before. Even during her worst times and darkest hours, her faith in the lord deepened and her love for her family grew stronger. Cancer may have destroyed her body but it never touched or changed the person she was. I believe anyone that reads this book will understand that your faith in the Lord and loving each other every single day are the most important things in life. I believe if we do these two things, anything is possible.

Conformity to the status quo is a directive society tries to motivate within people daily; agreeing to the desires of power, fame and money that has saturated our nation. However, what if God has called you to be The Individual, which is the thought behind author Steve Spinnett's new book. The "individual" is one who challenges religious institutions, as well as political institutions, to trust in the unseen instead of placing uneven faith and security in institutions. Steve sees that every person is given a God-given commission to make an impact for God's kingdom, while living like Jesus within this fallen world. The book is to encourage personal study and devotion among readers, as they read of historical figures and leaders who bypassed following the status quo to embrace their individual responsibilities, some even becoming reformers of faith. Be the individual: say no to conformity and yes to God's purposes.
