Part 1 The Human Family [current state, restored and integrated to organizational (business / governmental) leadership]. This book has been written for a time as this! There is an all-time high decay and attack on the family and society together with the unprecedented collapse of organisations and governments that have never been as deficient, absent or voided by leadership as today. The comprehensive and multi-dimensional approach of this book addresses this leadership issues in a holistic and transparent manner with a biblical foundation with the call for true transformation and a paradigm shift in the family and organizations leadership. Dr. Maxwell indicates so clearly that "Everything rises and falls on leadership".This is a call for the renewal, restoration and development of leadership by exploring the linkage and lessons that can be learned between organizational leadership and the family as primary incubator of leadership with biblical application and foundation. Anyone can benefit, learn and relate to this book as all can relate to family and will make applying organizational leadership uncomplicated. Restoration of leadership from a fallen state to God's original intention is possible, as it has already been achieved in Christ Jesus. Part 2 (The nine areas of organizational leadership integrated to the restored nuclear family) is the follow-up book explored under nine areas of organizational leadership with biblical application and foundation. ENDORSEMENTS Two professors at Regent University reviewed this manuscript are: Dr. Kathleen Patterson, Ph.D and Dr. Corné J. Bekker, D. As parents and grandparents, sometimes we might feel the answer is yes to both questions. Most sibling quarrels are resolved by the children themselves. However, sometimes the squabbling demands our wisdom, which comes with age, in order to restore, with sterness and humor, peace and harmony to our households, as what Paw Paw, Will You Set the Timer, Please? will show Raymond E. Wiggins Sr. is a parent and grandparent living with his family in Pontiac, Michigan, who has formally homeschooled two sons through high school and, informally, taught all his children and grandchildren, during babysitting moments, as all good parents and grandparents do!
In Dedication to Nori Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. It is time for us to learn about Christ and to teach our children about Him. What better way to do that than going back to the basic alphabet that we all learned in grade school. We should be able to describe Christ from A to Z. We are reminded by Christ to humble ourselves as little children so that we may see the kingdom of heaven. Why is that? It is because children recognize their sole dependence on their parents. Children depend on their parents comfort, love, and guidance. Parents help children to build trust, esteem, and morale. A child looks for his parent to hold their hand when crossing the street, and to console them when they are crying. They hunger and thirst for their parents. If we have the mindset of a child, then maybe we will have that same craving for Christ. God is our Father. We should look to Him for the same love, guidance, and support that we once sought from our own parents when we were children. Let's go back to being a child again and start with the basics. This time let's recite our ABC's with new meaning and purpose as we recognize our sole dependence on God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 18:2-7 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
I AM A RETIRED ARTIST AND A SIGNMAKER AND NOW, ALSO A WRITER OF BOOKS ABOUT GOD, MAN AND LIFE IN GENERAL. I WAS BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE BY GOD WHEN I HAD SUFFOCATED TO DEATH ON THE STEAK I WAS EATING, ON MARCH 23rd, of 2003, AND THIS WAS THE CHANGING POINT OF MY EXISTENCE. I AM NOW A BORN AGAIN BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST. HE BROUGHT ME BACK, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS, TO BE HIS READY WRITER. I WAS BORN AT HOME IN THE CITY OF EAST BOSTON, MA. I AM 74 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE BEEN GIFTED WITH MANY TALENTS, PRAISE GOD. THE LORD NOT ONLY BLESSED ME WITH THESE TALENTS, HE HAS ALSO ADDED MORE YEARS ONTO MY LIFE. TO EXPLAIN THE CROSS OF HEARTS YOU SEE IN EACH POEM, THE THREE HEARTS ON THE TOP REPRESENT THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY GHOST. THE TWELVE HEARTS REPRESENT THE TWELVE APOSTLES, AND THE RAINBOW THAT'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM IS GOD'S COVENANT WITH MAN. THE ONES IN BETWEEN EACH OF THE VERSES IS OUR UPWARD CLIMB TO HEAVEN, IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN. GERARD J. NAPOLITANO
This children's book follows the misadventures of a young eaglet, Laughing Eagle, as he gets lost in a nearby city and can't remember who he is or where he belongs. It isn't until he starts to dream about his former home, and feels hopeless to find home again, that home finds him. From early childhood, the author, Colleen Rodriguez, grew fond of storytelling as she was warmed and delighted by the bedtime stories told to her by her parents. Those secure, bonding times were the inspiration behind the creation of Laughing Eagle, a book begun over 30 years ago. Colleen and her husband have three daughters and two sons, and she is thrilled to team up with their oldest, Lizzy Rodriguez, as the illustrator of this book.
Some of the "message seeds" I was given have set dormant for 30 plus years in journals, legal pads, word documents and scraps of all sort of paper. After sharing a few of them with a dear friend, he reminded me that the "Cemetery is the richest place on earth; full of treasures in earthen vessel, and if I did not sow these "message seeds" soon that I would inadvertently add to the cemetery's vast estate." His words became a tipping point for "Plumb Lines." -Jerry Mannery Like the servant in the Parable of the Talent, God has graciously endowed JERRY MANNERY with multiple gifts- Minister of the Gospel; prolific songwriter; music, marketing and management executive; and now...published poet.
Alice Joyce Hutcheson has led an extraordinary life. Her story is at once entertaining, meaningful, poignant and humorous. She is a consummate musician, a leader and mentor to thousands of young women through Pioneer Girls, and a world traveler. Her adventures and achievements weave in, around and through her lifelong devotion to healing. Her early decision to pursue nursing has enhanced a deep and abiding love of people and of life. She has ministered to a young boy in the wilds of Tanzania and to a President. She has dealt with both the doyennes of society and its underground elements. She has treated them all with equal care and consideration. Alice's life has not always been easy. A headstrong and competitive young woman, Alice had to learn painful lessons. Learning how to listen when the Holy Spirit is speaking was not easy. Overcoming the fear of being transparent as a Christian in order to bring others to Christ was difficult. There have been spiritual scars along with the rewards. As a young girl, Alice adopted Proverbs 3:5 - 6 as her motto. She has endeavored to practice these tenets throughout her life. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Alice's hope is that her story, with its challenges, trials and occasional triumphs, might prove a valuable resource for those seeking to blend their Christian lives with their chosen careers. If even one reader of this book can learn to avoid the pitfalls of negative choices and recognize the possibilities of wise ones, she will have succeeded. Alice and Norman, her husband of fifty-eight years, make their home in Smithville, Missouri. They can be reached through Avant Ministries, 10000 N. Caught in this religious whirlwind in the 1930s, Edmundo and Aurea Jordan became ensnared irremediably in a seismic historical Christian revolution: Christian Pentecost. This story is about the Jordan family in this whirlwind. It is "History from Below."It was not to incite violent revolution in South America. Edmundo and Aurea Jordan proclaimed truth and a different message of freedom. This message spread rapidly throughout Venezuela and around the globe through them and countless others. The power of that message began to be felt worldwide and documented in the early 1950s in the press and academia. The scope of the Jordans' mission placed them face-to-face with troublesome issues of religious intolerance, persecutions, fanaticism, ecumenism, and liberal Marxist theologies of the time. They brought a message of hope and a unique spirituality to the poor, the disenfranchised, the rich, the powerful, and the lost in Venezuela, the Caribbean, and North America. Many others went during this time. This narrative is not intended to be another book of faith or even religion, although the Jordan story occurs in a religious backdrop. Our parents, Edmundo Jordan and his very young wife, Aurea, left from New York for Venezuela in 1936 infected with "fire" and love from heaven.Indulge this book through a family story. Edmundo and Aurea Jordan raised a family of fifteen children in a foreign land during turbulent times not only of social-religious commotions, but during a World War, revolts, and armed revolutions. Live with nine brothers and six sisters.
The author, Michael Adatsi is a Christian education research assistant who resides in New York City. He is devoted to writing Christian literature after graduating from university with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is currently in graduate school working on a dual degree program in Masters of Divinity and Masters of Business Administration. He designated his initial manuscript "Empowerment from God" in which he confidently proclaimed the condescending power of God. He established the impression that God's condescending power is His ability to reach unto his children even in our sin and weakness with unimaginable goodness, love, and mercy. God does not detach or dissociate Himself from us to only stare on his children to perish in their hopelessness and damnation. Instead, we have observed and experienced how the Gracious Lord has uplifted mankind specifically those who have acknowledged Him by calling upon His Son Jesus Christ. On the contrary, most people have made the mistake to express and connote God's condescendence power to signify that He is no more than snobbish, demeaning, and reprimanding. Jehovah has delivered and will continue to demonstrate his goodness and mercy to people who are under condemnation by restoring them unto higher grounds of success to his glory.Let the whole world worship God. He deserves our adoration for His immeasurable power and incomparable magnificence.
My Storms tells the miraculous, amazing trials endured in the life of author Jacqueline Palmer. A story of God's continual grace and mercy, this book is full of stories of God's strength, God's power, and God's forgiveness for all sins. While most may read author Jacqueline Palmer's story and wonder how she could have overcome going through child abuse, losing her mother, and on the way to her mother's funeral losing two of children among other family members, Jacqueline Palmer has come out a true victor. God continually delivers and rescues us; He forgives us when we have done the unforgivable or unimaginable. God will go out of His way to let us know He has our life in His hands. A book on not letting circumstances dictate who God is.
Tag you''re it says, Jesus! You are a witness unto me. Go tag your friends and tell them, I was born of the Virgin Mary, I died on Calvary''s Cross for them, and on the third day, I rose again. I am now seated at the right hand of the Father. No tag backs! Tell everyone "Jesus Saves!"

It is with great respect for Dot Chadwick that I write these few words about her book which is truly a work of "God''s Art" through her. Dot has been a tremendous blessing to our congregation since she and her husband, Brad, moved to Dunnellon, Florida. We have been blessed to include her poems in a variety of ways in our worship and outreach services. We are so excited that we now have in book form much of her literary craft to enrich our lives and others. Dot always lists at the end of her work the Biblical and historical references that she has used in her research as the Holy Spirit has spoken to her.The last two years she has led our Good Friday services with a series of dramatic readings including digital presentations and one work arranged to music. What a blessing! I know you will enjoy her book or as she would emphasize, "God''s Words" through her.Blessings, Pastor Eddie FulfordDot''s poetry can only be assessed as time well spent with God. These truth filled wisdoms and creative expressions (inspired by the Holy Spirit), have allowed Dot to capture special facets of a scripture; putting forth a blossoming effect for eyes and ears, mind and soul. I have enjoyed sharing her poetry in Christian broadcasts worldwide. - Bishop Judy Butler Rivers, Today''s New Revelation
We have all been there. That feeling that every problem or fear is too big to tackle on our own. We see them as giants and we are tiny, defenseless grasshoppers. That is not what God wants for us. He wants us to turn them over to Him because He is bigger than any giant in our lives.Throughout "I''m Just A Grasshopper," the author shares her personal struggles and how she is learning to let her faith be bigger than her fear. You will find some encouragement to overcome some of these questions and others. Do you run from your fears? Do you allow others to tear you down? Do you make excuses? Connie Raney previously published her testimony, "Everyone Owns A Shattered Mirror." She enjoys writing and encouraging others who may be struggling in this life.
From Competiholism: "In the course of our development work on competiholism, we invited Jim to review a draft version of a seminar presentation. We were interested in his professional assessment of the materials based on his background and years of expertise in marketing communications. . . . Jim did offer valuable insight and feedback for the materials, but an unexpected outcome included his own personal epiphany. His response to the materials came as a thunderbolt of recognition for patterns of his own behavior, those of his competiholic workmates and their manager and the interpersonal dynamics within his work group. He saw, through new eyes, the behaviors of the various individuals and the impacts that those competiholic responses had on the productivity of the group." As their executive coach and career manager, my clients extended to me the privilege of sharing their intimate thoughts and feelings about their careers and professional relationships. Many of these client relationships have continued for many years, some until the present.Having this insider''s view of their relationships, I could find and develop solutions for them. It has been very satisfying to share their growth and understanding. This book allows its readers to enter into and develop their own understanding of the main problems with career success and personal growth. It has been a wonderful experience to have watched my clients'' success and happiness and their enthusiasm about extending this knowledge to their families and friends. Tate Jones
I was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, but moved to northern Maryland as a small child. We lived on an 86 acre farm close to the Pennsylvania line. I was the tenth living child born in my family of six boys and six girls. We were raised very southern, and were raised going to church. I was always a very avid reader and so in my adult life I started reading and studying scripture and attended ministry school to continue learning. I realized that the greatest commandment was to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind; and to love your neighbor as yourself. My mother always said I would someday write a book. I always doubted that, but started writing poems after my grandchildren were born. As the years passed, I wrote more and more to encourage others along their way. The difference was I was inspired to write, I would hear a few words, or a line of poetry then sit down and write what I heard. So the words became gifts of love and the poems came through me, not from me. The Holy Spirit is more real to me than my very flesh. I heard one day, call the book "Flowers from God''s Garden," as the words are gifts you give others just as you send beautiful flowers, you can send beautiful words. So a heart was also placed on each page, as they flowed from the heart of God. Please feel free to send any of the words here to others as you see one of your friends or loved ones in these words of love, meant to inspire or just plain "bless their hearts."

Cooking has always been seen as a gateway to the soul: feeding not only the body but also the heart with delicious, comforting food. Making a meal for someone is performed in appreciation and love for that person in your life.Author Carolyn Blake views cooking in the same way as others do, even operating her own catering business called "Love Catering by Carolyn". Yet God called her to do more than cook appetizing meals for people, but to craft a cookbook that also shares motivational stories from her testimony. He even woke her up one night with the title to this meaningful display of food and fellowship: Inspired by Experience: Recipes for the Mind, Body and Soul.Within the pages of her cookbook, Carolyn presents some of her favorite dishes to prepare: everything from Carolyn''s Shrimp And Grits to home-style spaghetti to Sweet "P" Pie. Each recipe is accompanied with a scripture verse to match and unite God''s love to freshly prepared food that nourishes the body and soul.Intermixed with the recipes are short stories taken from the author''s life, as well as thoughts on verses from God''s Word, the Bible. Carolyn opens up to readers about her struggle with anxiety attacks and vertigo, becoming a mother, handling her divorce and enduring trials in life that she sees now as tests God implemented to bring forth more blessings to her. She separates the stories into the categories of Mind, Body and Soul, revealing similar attributes within the stories that connect to these three characteristics of a person. Besides pleasing your palate, Inspired by Experience will fulfill the longings in your heart to know who God is and the importance of having Him lead your life. He is the Provider of not only food for the body, but also food for the mind and soul.
"Why?" whispered Daniel quietly, shifting his weight."Because we don''t want others to know we are coming," answered Dad. "And if you continue to move, you''ll give away our positions.""Jesus, please give me your peace," Daniel quietly prayed. He knew his mouth would get him in trouble. "Please help me to be quiet."Earlier, Daniel and Kenya had been playing in the woods when they found the cabin. Ten year old Daniel, dared his sister, eight-year-old Kenya to enter the cabin. She took the dare and let herself in; right after that, the owner returned and found Kenya. It can be quite daunting to discover all the meaningful knowledge that can be found in God''s Word, within its sixty-six books of life-changing content. However, author Rich Jensen successfully organizes several of God''s revealing truths into his yearlong (fifty-two weeks) devotional, Words of Wisdom from God''s Word. Each week comprises a primary verse of discussion in the devotional, followed by set questions to prompt journaling opportunities and memory verses to keep in one''s mind and heart. Rich begins his devotionals with Week One''s discussion of Genesis 1:1, the beginning of the heavens and earth from God. The lesson concentrates on creation; that God alone can create, while man can only use what God has created and must rely on Him for everything, especially having a personal relationship with Him.As the devotionals progress, topics such as the necessity of rest, purpose of Jesus'' death on the cross and what to expect when you read the Bible are also depicted.Rich coincides the scripture verses with personal insight and interpretation to show God''s truths can affect a person''s life for the better and can be used to uncover one''s purpose and calling in life. The devotional concludes with a motivating entry about who Jesus is, born in the month of Christmas to a struggling nation. As God brought Jesus into the world when the world needed Him, God will bring Him forth again when the time is right to reclaim His dominion of heaven and earth.Words of Wisdom from God''s Word is an engaging venture into the substance of the Bible, giving readers an inside glimpse into the Heavenly Father''s mindset to help daily live for Him instead of themselves.

As parents, we pray that God will work in our children’s hearts and teach them His way. We also have an amazing privilege to share God’s Word with our little ones. These stories are meant to assist you in teaching your child God’s Word. Even children as young as two will understand something about their God. And so these Bible stories can be used to that effect. The book is written specifically for children aged 2 to 4, but can be enjoyed by older siblings as well. The stories are respectful, yet in a child’s language. The Illustrations are life-like and augment the Bible story. Key words are defined. Important concepts are repeated over a number of stories. These stories are also interactive. The interaction is in the form of questions and a few simple activities that can be done at the kitchen table. This is meant to keep the child’s attention. May the LORD use these stories to glorify His Name and teach them His way. Before she stayed home to care for her children, Amanda taught Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. In her second year at a Christian teacher’s college, she discovered one of her God-given talents: storytelling. This talent and passion was put to good use in the making of this Bible story book.

About the AuthorJanis was raised in a large family, the oldest of 6 children, and we moved about in Missouri, Kansas, and then to Chula Vista, California; where after high school graduation she married the love of her life, Ray. The couple had 2 children, Steven and Bryan, and later after going into the ministry helped encourage a very special girl through high school as well. She entered the ministry in 1973, while living in the Denver, Colorado area, and has been ministering ever since, which adds up to 43 years in the ministry. The ministry has always included children to some degree, however, the work was primarily with transients, dysfunctional families, the mentally challenged, and abused people in society. This is where it was learned that if children were taught Bible teachings while very young children, and if these good things were to become a part of their make-up as individuals, then they would become good people too. Janis went on to begin university at the age of 40 and graduated with a Master''s degree in Social Work, the Mental Health track, at 45. She continues the ministry, as a retired social worker, and works on Facebook and online where needed doing pastoral counseling and leading the lost to Christ. These stories began coming and sounded like something that someone might enjoy somewhere along the line, and someone might even find these tales as life changing inspirations.
