WARRIOR IN THE MAKING shares the author's journey of hope during her colorful and wonderful life mixed with the bizarre, the traumatic, and the painful often leaving her feeling broken, damaged, worthless, and hopeless. Letting Jesus take the reins to help her overcome the damage brought on by abuse, addictions, family dysfunction, tragedies, injuries, illnesses, and bad decisions awakened her warrior spirit and took her faith to a new level that remarkably transformed both her mind and her life making her a new creation! She shares her unique perspective on how God was never far away and worked it all for her good, just as He promises He will do for those who love Him. She hopes sharing her story and insights brings readers hope and encouragement to endure, to face their dragons, and trust that the "God who sees them" does His best work with brokenness. (See Genesis 16:13). JANNYCE BARNES is a native Minnesotan who resides in the Twin Cities. She is a retired legal assistant/paralegal and a grandmother of two. She currently enjoys reading, health and fitness, traveling, swimming, boating, fishing, singing, playing guitar, the arts, crafts, and quilting. She loves the Lord and serving in various volunteer capacities at her church, especially leading women's small groups. She seeks to glorify and serve God by continuing to be a light in the darkness to others and share His love by being the heart, hands, and feet of Jesus.

For the first time in my life, I had to fight for it. COVID attacked me, my family, and the world. Being a trauma nurse in the emergency department, I often find myself (as do all of my coworkers) meeting people on the worst day of their lives. Now for the first time, I started meeting people during the worst time of mine. This book is written to illustrate how we should be able to fight the devastating effects of this virus together. There is an army that is available to everyone, and every single person can become a part of the army that everyone needs in their life. We can focus this army to support one another, or to tear us apart because someone thinks differently than we do. This is an age-old problem that continues to face us today, something I call "self-righteous indignation." It continues to tear apart our friends, families, and even countries. We need each other's strengths, not each other's opinions. There is a person in that medical bed--someone with a family, friends, and a health care team. They need us. They need support. But so do those who are on the outside looking in. I hope this book offers a glimpse into what it was like to be a care giver who found himself changing from bedside care to needing care from the other side of the bed, and to see how that need extended into my family and friends.

As we witness what is currently taking place in America many people share the feeling that something is very wrong. We seem to be replacing our historical values with some radically different ideas. The voice of the conservative, family oriented, law-abiding, God-fearing population is being drowned out by chaos and a spirit of lawlessness. We don't seem to have answers for most of the problems that are engulfing the nation. It is from this perspective that Craig Nedrow wrote this book; 'You can't handle the truth'. Could it be that the answer to America's problems isn't as difficult as they appear. What if there really is a simple solution? Self-examination can be painful but for positive results sometimes it's needed. 'You can't handle the truth' is a self-examination of America's current condition with an answer that many people don't want to hear or accept. The urgent question is: "IS IT TOO LATE?" Craig Nedrow was raised and still resides in the North Dallas Metroplex. He and his wife Micah own several businesses. Craig is also a conservative radio talk show host in the North Texas area with a program titled 'Stand Up 4 Jesus' that has aired weekly for over 14 years. He is an author and public speaker. He and Micah have two grown children, four grandchildren, and their lives are controlled by three miniature Yorkies named Coco, Zoey, and Daisy!

Have you ever thought about moments of time in your life that you wished you could go back? Such as carefree summer days and the joys of childhood, playing hide-and-seek and exploring the great outdoors? In his book Growing Up in Tennessee, author Timothy Hill does just that, transporting readers back to rural Tennessee in the 1970s and reminiscing on the adventures of his years from childhood to young adulthood. Growing Up in Tennessee by Timothy Hill is a memoir that shares the author's life experiences of growing up in a Southern Christian home in Decherd, Tennessee. Throughout its pages, he reflects on times with his parents and grandparents, who have since gone to heaven, and describes what it was like growing up on a farm and being part of a close-knit community through school and church. The book focuses on the faith foundation that was placed in Timothy's life through his family and church, describing attending Sunday School taught by family members and seeing the role faith played in their lives. A reminder of how importance it is to teach children about the Lord from a very young age, this faith foundation is what brought Timothy back to God and a Christian lifestyle in later years. A trip down memory lane, this book is sure to delight readers as they head back to the good ole' days! Tim Hill is from Decherd TN. He loves to read the Bible and learn about God. He enjoys fishing and relic hunting with his metal detector. He wanted to tell his stories of what it is to grow up and become a man that is molded by God.

BED BUG STEW is two books in one volume! First is a compilation of short story fiction and poetry on a wide range of subject matter: science fiction, messages from the heart, and a little terror thrown in. You will laugh out loud and shed a tear, and you will remember all the characters and their flaws, strengths, motivations, and sometimes the depths of their souls. You will meet a senior citizen who hears other people's thoughts through his hearing aids, a football coach who shuns interviews, a widow who changes her life for one that she loathed, a mason whose soul has been crushed, a man who claims to have been in thousands of movies, and a ballplayer whose best moments were off the field. And many many more... The second book is the author's first person account of his attendance at the New York Yankees Men's Fantasy Camp in January 2023. Yes, it is hilarious. Lies that we tell ourselves, caressing the thought, Deeds that we never do, nor what we ought. It's tempting to tell others what they must do, I see the injustice. These rules are for you. Kevin Horgan served as an infantry officer in the USMC from 1979 - 1984. He tells everyone his service was the great privilege of his life; he was never downrange and he is nothing special. He has authored two US Civil War historical novels, one modern day suspense novel, and has co-authored three illustrated children's books with his sister-in law, Stephanie. Bed Bug Stew is his fourth completed book. Kevin and his wife, Maureen, reside in Georgia.

I was compelled to write this book due to the issues I was having, and others I've heard of, because of this horrific disease. Also, to share education on the info provided to me with others who are going through similar circumstances. I also made some suggestions in the book for the readers, if they would be willing to try what worked for me, which was God's Word it heals, and is challenging. It helped to mold and focus us to grow. We wouldn't have gotten as far as we did if it wasn't for His Word. The Lord gave me the wisdom, and guidance to seek out the proper avenues of help, and to overcome a lot of the schemes of the devil! You are an overcomer! Be blessed!!! Born in sunny California, Gail is the eldest of two. Gail came from a very unique home. Her mother from Nebraska, and her stepfather from Sweden that raised her. When Gail was seven, they flew across continent to Sweden, Copenhagen, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, Stockholm, and Norway to meet family. Gail traveled a lot. Also at seven, Gail was going to a predominantly Jewish Elementary where she was truly blessed. Mrs. Hoffman, her favorite teacher, nurtured and exposed her to great things. Gail will never forget her praying grandmother DeeDee who introduced her to Christ and taught her the "Yes, Jesus Loves Me Song". Gail and her grandmother would sing it together as she played the piano. Gail misses her. Gail has two beautiful children, and three lovely grandchildren, she's been through the good, the bad, and the ugly, but God is changing that ugly into pretty. Gail must say "Jesus is her rock, and her salvation, and without Him we can do nothing"!

Due to life's experiences, the author has written poetry and brief devotionals to bring encouragement and hope to the reader. Everyone goes through difficulties, physical struggles, and sorrows, but in the midst of her storms, Marilyn has maintained vision and confidence of a clear horizon. It is her hope that this book will be a life raft for each person, and a steppingstone in their walk of faith. God is present in our storms! He has been my anchor through life's sorrows and afflictions. God is who He says He is, and does what He declares He will do! In 2002 I had pneumonia, and a virus went into the T6 of my spine. As the virus feasted, the damage caused me to collapse. It was then I began to deal with the effects of transverse myelitis. After a month of physical therapy, I learned to walk again. I walked using two canes for stability, and then cancer came. The Lord brought me through a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation, surrounded by precious family and friends. The day came, as I was trying to get into our home, I could not raise my foot up onto the threshold. I tried and tried, but I could not. My loving husband immediately placed ramps at the entrances of our home, so I could shuffle my feet with success. Later, a battery-operated chair became essential! My body began having new symptoms of difficulty. It was concluded that since my oxygen level was 51 while I slept and 78 while I sat in my chair, I was in respiratory failure. I was placed on 8 liters of oxygen at night and 2 liters during the day. The time came when I spent most of my existence on my bed. The greatest difficulty of each day was trying to get out of bed. My awesome Lord Jesus began bursting poetry through me during this season of my life. Today, by His miraculous Hand, I no longer need prescribed oxygen, and I can walk short distances with a walker. God, who has been with me in the journey, is raising me up! I refuse to call impossible that which God calls possible!

In a world where mysterious phenomena are often chalked up to coincidence, many seem to forget that our God is a God of Miracles. Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón has experienced decades of medical miracles worked by God's hand, and compelled by God's mercy and love, he bears witness to wonders the Lord has worked in his life and that of his family's. Healed by Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón is a unique medical treatise on divine healing that complements, supports, and fills a void in the faith and medicine literature available today. His work describes six different healing experiences that have taken place over his lifetime, including being healed from leukemia despite incomplete chemotherapy, followed by complete cancer remission for twenty-four years and counting. As a Christian physician executive, educator, and global health expert, Dr. Calderón integrates scientific knowhow with spiritual and divine healing experiences. He includes medical descriptions of six illnesses with a corresponding miraculous healing story and spiritual interpretation, along with evidence-based documentation. This narrative is accented by seventy-eight wisdom keys and discernments supported by Bible verses/citations, making this a work of both healing and wisdom. God is real, and He operates above and beyond the natural in the realm where all miracles are possible. Christians and non-Christians alike must only have faith and believe that they can be healed too, and they will find the solutions to whatever problems and struggles they are facing. God continues to perform miracles, and He is the same, today, yesterday, and forever. He is the Lord who heals. M. RICARDO CALDERÓN, MD, MPH, FPMER, was born in Guatemala, Central America. He is a physician executive, educator and global health expert with over 25 years of experience in senior leadership, representation, advisory services, and management of public, private, academic, research, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, faith-based and non-profit organizations in over 20 countries. Yes, It Matters proves that our that our clothing style and selection choices matter as God's children. It does so by furnishing the reader a reasoned explanation of dress standards and the principles that lie beneath them. Our appearance alone does not make us spiritual, but neither is our spirituality divorced from it. Yes, our appearance matters. To God and to others. If you live your life for me, it will be the last 35 years of your life that will be remembered." I was a man without a purpose, but now my purpose is defined; which is to help people out of religion and into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Nichol Cotton - Harding I didn't understand God's LOVE until I leaned in and read the living word for myself. This is when I discovered so much I missed because of "religion". I understood then, that my purpose was to reintroduce people to Our God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit in a different way. This relationship changed my life and undoubtedly will change yours.

For years I wondered what was the still voice I heard in my head, it was always peaceful. But, yet the noise of daily busy life would overpower the peaceful voice. Quickly my brain would become full of chaos and on with the day I would go. Well at some point that quiet still voice decided to speak louder, and I decided to listen, sadly it wasn't until I was in the heat of the battle. Many times we think we know the right thing to do and never know where that decision might lead us. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. I am here to tell you that it does not matter when you make the decision to trust in the LORD, he will be there. Clarice Young was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and since has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she intends to live the rest of her best life. She attended Concordia University in Wisconsin, where she earned her master's in business management and communication and she attended a biblical course every semester of different faiths, which she credits for the seed that was planted to stay in touch with her spiritual side. She has always journalled but was prompted to write a book as she began her search for purpose. She didn't know what the book would be about at first, but as she continued through her journey it formed itself. Clarice was inspired to write and share her spiritual journey in hopes that it will help others understand those nudges that are not always understood and your answers to gut instinct.
