Candace Brown Doud was born in Coronado, California, and grew up in Los Angeles. She attended Marymount High School and UCLA. She studied the Bible in Bible Study Fellowship where she served in leadership for over twenty years and then as a Teaching Leader for eighteen years. She has four children, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and lives in Bellevue, Washington.

He pastored two churches in Ohio and then went to Liberty University, where he finished a Bachelor of Science in 1985. Continuing his education at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Master of Divinity in 1989.
