Our minds are organized into a certain mind-set based on our perception of the reality we develop in our socialization into society.I believe that because we are living and operating a new creative paradigm filled with new ideas, concepts, and laws, we must begin to challenge our existing mind-set and seek creative concepts and methods that will allow us to see this new alternative reality that many refuse to recognize and accept. We can look at nature as a composite of isolated snapshots showing its beauty, or we can view the incredible and intelligent design and function behind every plant, tree, and living creature. The intended goal of the book is to provoke your mind to see this incredible bio design from which we can begin to develop a higher level of understanding and meaning. We will soon realize that we will discover and recognize new patterns as we process new information. We will begin to connect ideas and concepts previously not connected. We will raise the quality of our perceptions and thinking using the intelligent design found in nature. "Thinking skill in unquestionably the fundamental human resource. We need to do much more about developing this skill, because the complexity of modern life demands more than routine reactions. There is an even bigger need for productive, constructive and generative thinking""I hope that everyone concerned with the future direction of education will pay attention to these important matters which you raise in this book."-- Dr. Edward de BonoWORLD'S LEADING AUTHORITY ONTHINKING AS A DELIBERATE SKILL

Return to Tomorrow is a compilation poetry book. It discusses all concepts of life. From reality, fantasy, spiritualism, mysticism, romance, lost love, today's world and hopefully the reality of truth. I also think Return to Tomorrow is sort of a journey through the psyche of the mind. An imagination of today's reality and tomorrow's future. There's always hope for love and peace of mind, for today and our future. But maybe our own conscience of our souls could be the answer, for love and hate. And maybe learn from our past failures, from conflict, peace and love. But I do think there will be freedom from our minds, for all of us. So maybe behind our eyes holds truth to our lives. So in this poetry book, Return to Tomorrow. Hopefully you'll find the right rhyme somewhere out there or within the mind.

As a breast cancer survivor, I now spend over half of my time fighting for access to treatment within underserved communities, especially women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Simon, my husband without benefits, has been by my side from the first moment. To you, Simon, I say, "Behind every person that wants to change the world is the person you want the world to be." If the world had your heart, courage, and persistence in all that you do (including this book), it would be a much better place. Also, I am thrilled to tell you, I have launched my first foundation with Nima Oberoi. With every Wishbone she sells, proceeds will go to the Ricks Oberoi Foundation. Our tagline, "Grant wishes, removing barriers." I would be honored if you would donate to our foundation. -Dee Dee Ricks From the moment my brilliant husband first told me of his idea for this book, I was so excited to see his vision come to fruition. And I'm truly honored to be a part of it. The book is absolutely beautiful! When my best friend, Dee Dee, was diagnosed with breast cancer, it changed my life forever. I am thrilled that a portion of the proceeds will go towards her wonderful foundation. She is such an amazing woman, and it is such an incredible cause! -Patti Reynolds

"The last words of our Lord Jesus Christ are the Great Commission. The emphasis is on making disciples. The means God has given to accomplish that is teaching. The church is at its best when it gives priority to ministries that teach. There is no greater place for this teaching than Sunday School. God has blessed churches that have a strong Sunday School program. May more churches give priority to this teaching arm in fulfilling the Great Commission."- Michael Karns, Associate Pastor, Beacon Baptist Church, Burlington, NC "My wife and I have seen the value in a well-prepared, intentional Sunday School program in supplementing our efforts to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."-Bobby LaTour, Former Student and Police Captain today

Faith has been a topic that I have had the wonderful opportunity to research and write about lately. As far back as I can remember I have loved God, tales of life, and comedy. This time I decided to try and weave the three together in this collection of short stories. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them.

This book has been 12 years in the making, yet it is challenging for me to succinctly convey how I wish it to be perceived. In general, it is a story of transformation. Growing up as a Black girl in the southern suburbs, I often felt out of place and bewildered about my role in society. My mother noticed my need for an outlet and handed me my first journal. As I filled its pages with my emotions in ink, iPhones were invented, and I found myself using my note app for poems that explored my journey of self-perception, identity formation, love, and community. However, for those readers who only skim the first and last sentence of a paragraph, this book is about learning to embrace all aspects of yourself, including those that may be difficult to love.
