> Some Churches Have Chairs encourages learning at any level! First, there are fun and inclusive illustrations that show a few of the many forms that God's church can take. Second, there is a simple rhyme along the top of the illustrations that introduce words like "chairs, pews, steeple, cross, saints, worship," and more. Third, there is a description along the bottom that explains something about the picture that your child might not see at your own church.

I wrote this as a poem for a poetry book. Before even being published, a pastor friend who read it wanted me to recite it as part of their church Christmas program. In doing so, one of the leaders of that church wanted a copy to read on Christmas Eve to his grandchildren. This year, another church asked if they could build their upcoming Christmas program around this poem. It has been so well received by all who read it, I thought it would be a perfect book for the young and old, and one you may consider reading to your children, or grandchildren each Christmas eve. The Christmas story is also told in one other place in the Bible, and the scripture for that is below. Matthew 1:18-2:12 In reading Chapter two, you will realize that the 'Three Kings' came a few years later, and at that time, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus were living in a house.
This book will hopefully encourage her fellow Americans and others to cook, entertain and in general enjoy the pleasures of dining with grace and thanks to God. Eating should be fun and taste good. It also helps one to stay trim and able to move with ease, and hopefully help one to stay healthy and happy. It employs poetry, my first love.
"I am with you Always" helps children become aware of the presence of God everywhere. "Always" means at all times and on every occasion. Jan's unique voice speaks to children as God calls them. Learning God is with them always, sending His angels to guard them and more. This is instrumental in children believing they never walk alone. God is just a prayer away.
Ella is an adventurous beagle who loves going exploring down by the riverbank, where she can admire all God's creatures. When she goes splashing in the water, she runs into cattails. When she goes digging in the mud, she finds water muscles. Canadian geese fly overhead, while fish swim freely below. Ella discovers all sorts of amazing things in nature, all masterfully made by her Creator. Afterwards, a tired Ella takes a much-deserved rest.Tales of the Riverbank teaches children about nature while also using counting exercises to help them know their numbers. Scripture verses illuminate the Word of God. Through her adventures on the riverbank, Ella learns about numbers and her relationship to the Creator-and kids can, too!
