Never having been inside a cave, this is all speculation, but I believe caves to be dark, damp, hazardous, and snaky. We are not expected to bring ourselves out of caves like graves or tombs, but we can and should call on God to bring us out of emotional, physical, and spiritual caves just as easily as He brought Lazarus out of his tomb after he had been dead for four days.
