  • - The Physical Phenomenon of Spiritual Transformation
    av JaNeen Dancy
    171 - 355,-

It is with the heart that we believe. When we receive Jesus into our hearts, we are declared His own and are transformed into His likenessinto a new person in Christ. The sad reality is that while many Christians truly believe, they struggle to find a clear picture of how spiritual transformation is to take place in their life. Over and over, the Bible points to the heart as the agent of our transformation, but the scriptures do not refer to the physical heart beating in our chests. But could they? What if the physical heart could serve as a compelling model of spiritual development and transformation? Drawing from examples in scripture as well as her own challenges with grasping the concept of spiritual transformation, in The Anatomy of The Heart, JaNeen Dancy challenges readers to take a closer look at the physical heart for insightful analysis of the spiritual heart. The hearts at the center of our physical life and spiritual life may be more similar than we know, and a greater understanding of one may lead to a deeper understanding, and ultimate victory, in the other.

  • - Dealing with Life'S Questions in My Lifetime
    av Adrian Peel
    171 - 355,-

This book is intended for anyone who has questions about their life experience that are causing them inner dissatisfaction. Spiritual people sometimes face this because they cant make sense of apparent inconsistencies between what they expect from their faith and what they experience in the practical world. Secular people may face a similar type of inner dissatisfaction because external success fails to bring them the type of joy they expect. The writing method uses auto-ethnography a reflection on Adrians personal experience as he connects his story to wider understandings of the way life works. While his Christian worldview is central to the book, its emphasis is on the process. So, readers are encouraged to evaluate the process and models presented, but to insert your own life experience against them for the best benefit.

  • av Morning Sun Yellow Pony
    186 - 384,-

To read this book is to take an incredible journey. It is almost unbelievable that one person could live through so much and survive it all, much less go on to heal the emotional damage done to her heart mind and soul. A tissue may be required as His Morning Sun, shares the authors own life story as heart rending as it was. However, the biggest mistake the reader could do is to put the book down where her story ends. The second half of the book is about your own healing. Morning Sun takes the exact same teachings that God used to heal her life and presents them to you the reader for your own healing. She walks the reader through each step of their healing and uses her own life as the example. Morning Sun shows you her heart, then takes you on a journey into the very depths of your own heart.

  • - A Simple View of How to Have a Deep Personal Relationship with God
    av Jill Krantz
    171 - 355,-

As a pastor and leader of a local church, Jill Krantzs The Simplicity of Faith is a breath of fresh air in relaying the simple and effective tenants of salvation and faith in Jesus. Comprehensive and enlightening, this book offers both a snapshot of the Gospel, as well as an in-depth glance into what seems at times as to be the muddy waters of faith. Krantz is able to simplify and personalize the vast pages of doctrine and religion into an entertaining, and informative journey that reveals the true purpose of Jesus sacrifice: a personal walk with Him in liberty and peace. Every pastor should have a copy of this book for new Christians and troubled believers. Pastor Richie Moore Youth and Childrens Minister at Evangel Temple Southwest, Middleburg, FL. If brevity is the soul of wit, then simplicity is the soul of design. In this book, Ms. Krantz utilizes the concept of simplicity to get at the nature of human thought and perception, while also drawing out tangible applications for the faith-driven life of a Christ Follower. The Simplicity Of Faith is thoroughly optimistic, entertaining, and erudite. I found it approachable and usable, and I firmly believe that it will keep readers thumbing back for a second and third look at her deceptively simple advice. Its quite evident that Jill is a very humble, enlightened, and caring human. I happily recommend this book to all, from senior-saints to new believers. Respectfully, Richard Collins Christ Follower

As a Gospel Singer and Evangelist traveling around the US and Canada for fourteen years she has seen a great deal and been tried and tested much. Her faith and trust in God are remarkable and she shares that faith and trust through her stories about her experiences on the road as well as what she has learned from Father in the process. Her unction to know Yahaveh and understand His word by finding answers to her every question is huge and very contagious. Her heart now is to create for everyone who reads Nuts and Bolts, that same unction to Know God and answer their own questions in His word.

  • av Paul Slaughter
    171 - 355,-

The context of the story begins with an overview of the familys heritage of both parents which provides the reader with the character of their ancestors that rightly prepared them for having the moral and insightful capabilities they faced in caring for their daughter named Joanna. From the first chapter, the story tells of her critical birth process which left her seriously injured, grievously impacting her own life but also strongly affecting her immediate family as well. Her first five years and her schooling away from home for three years are presented. When she became eight years old she was transferred to an Institute where she could develop skills in hope of discovering a more rounded promise toward achieving a life worth living. Through training, hard work and perseverance she is able to reach the capability of living independently and working in a professional dental office. (No doubt aided because she has been blessed by having a prodigious memory in most all activities.) While her effort was a significant achievement, it demanded enormous concentration and most surely caused emotional and medical problems which she overcame only through Gods providential care to live in a normal world which none of her early physicians could ever have imagined. After working for some thirty five years she chose to quit and has since come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She also enjoys being a volunteer in helping the needy which is ironic since she has depended on others for so much in her own life. On the personal side, this young woman delights in being with her family and her company has always been equally meaningful for both her sisters and Dad . Their encouragement has kept her growing in understanding to believe in herself and continually improve in most everything she does. She visits them in New York City, Tidewater Virginia and central Pennsylvania and rejoices in being with her family knowing that she is indeed much loved.

  • - And Other Writings
    av Christian Clingman
    414 - 517,-

Because we live in a broken, fallen world, the feeling of wanderer is easy to come by. And the broken world does not necessarily become easier for the one who becomes Gods child. You have probably had at least one season (if not multiple seasons) where you felt as a wanderer. You live and walk through life moment by moment, day by day, year by year and yet find that youre not sure where youre headed and feel like you carry your cross and struggle with life, alone. Yet all of this must find its end at the feet of the redeeming hope of Gods truth. For the Christian, this feeling is deeper because he knows that, despite the unknown and uncertain life and future that stretches before him, he is not really walking through life aimless, helpless and directionless but rather being led and guided by the unseen God; the Father in Heaven. I have written this book to share with any and all those who feel like theyre alone in their life and their walk after God. In my imperfect poetry and heart, I have sought to reflect and display this truth of God: That we have tangible hope (assurance) to have and hold in this life and keep us in our walk before Him. If you have seen the path before you as uncertain...If you have found yourself a lonely and struggling traveler through life...Or have felt yourself like a leaf being carried by an unseen wind...Then my book is for you.So grasp the Fathers tender hand and let Him lead you through the shadows and light of your life...through His valley of vision.

  • - An Apologetic for the Christian Worldview
    av Scott Allen Davis
    186 - 384,-

People in our culture today desperately need explanations for the big questions of life: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going? People in the twentieth century concluded that God did not exist, so the vastness of the universe and the finitude of man came together to create a crisis of existence for them. Their skepticism has been passed on to those of us who live in the twenty-first century, so that crisis is still with us. The great questions still demand answers, but none will be forthcoming until we begin to see our existence in light of the existence of God and His story.

    171 - 355,-

The Devil has had his way in the family far too long! God designed the family to be beautiful. He even placed the first family in the paradise of the Garden of Eden. However, once the knowledge of good and evil entered the family, the Devil has tried, and has succeeded in keeping his foot in the door to the family. The family needs a complete paradigm shift. The family needs to practice good, godly habits in order to accomplish this shift. The hope and prayer from this book is that Twenty-One Habits of Highly Functioning Families will provide the reader a useful tool for positive family habits. This will result in a change in our families, in our neighborhoods, in our churches, and in our world. The mission of this book is that it will inspire good, godly habits that will allow families to shift from dysfunctional to highly functional. After reading each chapter, you will see a section entitled, Family Talk. This is a section of study questions that will allow for even more quality discussions together. Please consider practicing these twenty-one habits so they will become habits in your familys daily life. Together, we can change and be the family that God first designed the family to be.

  • - Overcoming Problems
    av Cami Marie Taylor
    299 - 473,-

Spiritually, mountaintops can represent grandeur, majesty, protection, and a safe place from all storms. But what describes the climb up the mountains? Difficulties, adversities, setbacks, injustices, betrayals, deceit, conspiracies just to name a few. There are hidden complexities for the mountain climber: hidden vice-covered ravines, slippery slopes, crags and crevices, venomous snakes, unstable weather, little to no vegetation to feed upon. Sometimes sprained ankles, broken bones, and being just too tired to go on! Compare that to what can happen when mustard-seed faith collides with adversity time and time again. Thats the story of the journey of Cami Marie Taylor whose blind faith eventually led her to the very footstool of God at the top of her own, personal mountain. You will be wasting your time reading this book if youve never had to face a way out of impossible situations with seemingly no answers. But then again, you just might be interested in how Cami was led and strengthened to climb her mountains of adversity! Inspirational reading intermixed with practical Christianity best describes Cami Marie Taylors journey during the 1970s--1980s while it also records the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit who accompanied her on her unchartered mountain-climbing expedition!

  • - How Medical Science Proves Evolution by Natural Selection Is a Failed Theory
    av MD Greg Bredemeier
    299 - 473,-

Most people intuitively understand that Darwins theory of evolutionnatural selection acting upon random mutationsis a wholly inadequate theory for the creation of a human being. And most people feel unprepared to debate those scientists, professors, and scholars who use their academic authority to defend Darwinism, often bullying and belittling those of us who dare doubt Darwin. Now, Bredemeier identifies and succinctly encapsulates why Darwinism fails. Using anatomy and physiology as only a physician can, Bredemeier exposes the errors and false logic that Darwinian acolytes continue to employ as they protect their mortally wounded theory. Any reader with a high school or college education will become armed with straightforward examples of exactly why Darwinism fails. From anatomy and physiology of the human bodyincluding neuroscience, genetics, embryology, and other fascinating fields of the increasingly numerous biological sciencesBredemeier provides indisputable and damning evidence for which academicians, scientists, and even Nobel laureates, who zealously defend Darwinism, have no adequate answer.

  • - Forever Man - Book 2
    av Ed Booth
    299 - 473,-

Father Jean came and stood next to Darby as he reclined and said, I will be returning to the abbey. I will pray for yer soul Darby and ask god what ye need to pay. It could be quite a substantial sum as ye have lived a very sinful life. Yes, yesI know, but it will be worth it to avoid the fiery flames. For the first time, and in a perplexed tone of voice, Christian spoke to Father Jean, You are not serious? Making Darby pay for forgiveness, a gift that is freely given. With a look of incredulity, Father Jean replied, Darbys sins are great and the cost of penance must equally fit his crimes. You heard him. The next time he meets the Death Angel he will be taken to Hell and left there. If he doesnt pay for his sins he has no hope of avoiding the fiery flames. Shaking in anger, Christian looked straight into the eyes of Darby OHerlihy and said, Do not listen to this fool, Darby! To be a Christian is to believe that Jesus Christ came to this world to offer His life as a ransom for those who would believe and entrust their lives to Him. His shed blood upon the cross is the payment for your sins. It is not something we as men pay for monetarily! If that be the case, then the poor and needy are doomed to die and to be carried to the fiery pit to burn there forever separated from a loving and caring God. It is written: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, John 3:16 [KJV] that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In anger Father Jean responded, Where are these written Words you speak of and who has them? Are you the Caretaker of them? If you are produce them so that we can see them for ourselves.

  • - Gram-Pa's Cool Arctic Adventures
    av Larry Rubin
    299 - 473,-

Many readers are thrilled to immerse themselves in the tales of years gone by, concerning deeds they wished they could have done, but never did. When living in frigid Alaska, we submerged ourselves in almost any adventure that presented itself. The wild Arctic Alaska with its colder temps, thicker and more prevalent ice-fog, considerably larger moose, huge schools of lively salmon and seemingly unending miles of spacious tundra elicits a symphony of crisp adventures, unparalleled in any other state. They were presented to us on a platter. We didnt shy away. We attempted them with a near voracious appetite and claimed our fill. In fact, we went back for more; with gusto.
