Surrender: For Gods Glory is a six-week Bible study that catapults the student into the lives of men and women of faith who abandoned themselves to God and brought glory to his name through their surrender. As you explore their devotion, you will be challenged to forsake self-will and pursue Gods divine purpose for your life. Beginning in the garden, you will recognize in Adam and Eve our tendency to doubt Gods generous favor toward us. Be inspired anew by Hannah as she prostrates her longing heart before God and returns again to relinquish the fulfillment of her desire back to his loving hands. From the trials and triumphs of Daniel and his companions to the vivid example of surrender lived out in Jesuss perfectly submissive mission to save mankind, Regina Steward invites you to a closer and more intimate relationship with the one who created you for his divine purpose. Prepare your heart to raise the white flag in submission to the lover of your soul, Jehovah, our Lord and King. Prepare to surrender for Gods glory.
Simon Freeman has just graduated from college and is driving across country in search of a lucrative sales job and the American Dream. Along the way, he is diverted off the path by a storm that leads him back to a small Midwestern town where he had spent the first ten years of his life. After reconnecting with his old friends, he quickly becomes accustomed to an all too familiar lifestyle. Not long after his arrival, a murder rocks the community, and Simon becomes convinced that he has been chosen to put an end to a curse and the cycle of tragedies that have plagued the town of Bethel for the past seventy-two years. With the help of a wily, old principal named Thelma Harold, he comes to believe that by renovating the local elementary school, he can influence a referendum vote that will restore the values and priorities of a corrupt, depraved community that has been overrun by a shrewd businessman named Jack Lawless and a small faction of wealthy landowners. During the renovation, however, Simon unwittingly enters into his own personal journey that takes him from salvation to sanctification. Along the way, a fledgling romance with a young teacher named Hope Wiseman forces Simon to confront the demons of his past and make a choice to either serve himself or Christ. In the end, Simon finds out that simply returning a building to its original condition has far greater societal implications to the eternal welfare for the cursed people of Bethel.

The Scarlet Thread: Tainted Women is a celebration of women who defied conventions and received the gift of Gods grace to become part of Christs family tree. The title of the book reinforces the underlying theme of grace. It alludes to the scarlet thread that Rahab the harlot placed in her window to remind the two Hebrew spies of an oath they made to her not to destroy her and family during their siege of Jericho (Josh. 2:1221). To Rahab, the scarlet thread may have been a token of escape, but to the spies, it may have been a poignant reminder of the Passover blood that caused destruction to pass over their ancestors on the eve of their exodus from Egypt. Each chapter of the book looks at the life of each woman and how it is woven into the plan of God. The first chapter explores the life of Eve, the second chapter celebrates the Virgin Mary, and the final chapter focuses on Rahab. All other chapters are in chronological order, starting with Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, Tamar, and Ruth and ending with Bathsheba.
Bible Truth about Deliverance is a systematic, in-a-nutshell teaching on the controversial issue of deliverance. It explores the causality of certain events as well as their remedies. The principles are undoubtedly Bible based and factual to everyday life. The book places emphasis, with concrete examples, on the influence of the spirit realm in the physical realm. Everyone will benefit from the teachings contained in this book.
Carol Taylor meets cancer for the second time in her life. It has been a formable enemy who has returned to displace, hurt, inconvenience and to ultimately destroy her life. Realizing the true enemy to be the Evil one who does by scripture says to come, kill and destroy and that this cancer to be a weapon formed against her, she learns to lean even heavier on her true help. Faith for the journey through cancer is a must for the child of God. Through faith, strength is drawn from God Himself who is willing and wants to be close every step of the way. How shallow words seem to be when said that one believes in God and once trouble comes, fall apart. Fear is something from the Evil one. Fear is an emotion everyone has. Its when fear is greater than faith, it becomes a problem for the Christian. Carol had to walk by faith alone on this trip through her cancer. Many times she had to concentrate on that one voice that spoke to her and have faith when she felt it to be silent. Several times she had to speak the words of Job, Though you slay me, yet I will trust You. God is faithful and when, from the desire of the heart His child prays, show yourself strong through this trial, He answers in the most amazing way.

What if Jesus were to write you a personal letter? How quickly would you read it? In Segue, learn that Jesus has indeed written to his followers living today, in the early decades of the twenty-first century. Through his introduction, critic, and counsel, Jesus speaks directly to you and me today. Together, we explore the deeply stirring call God has issued to his children to think of our lives as pieces of music to be composed. Using music as a metaphor of our lives, you will learn how to develop a more intimate walk with Jesus. Today our lives sound more like machines chugging along our day-to-day routines rather than the expertly crafted instruments that God intended. Segue is a musical term that means a seamless transition. All of our lives are songs that are being composed. What will be the quality of your sound? How would this outlook change our lives and the world?
In order for twenty-first century readers to properly understand Revelation, we have to look at it through first century eyes. Their understanding of the book frames our understanding.Start with the assumption that the last book of the Bible is exactly what it purports to be - a revelation, not a mystery. Add to that assumption the fact that it was written by a first century author and that it was originally read by first century readers who were expected to understand and obey the message contained in it. Take into consideration their first century frame-of-reference and the authors familiarity with the Old Testament. Wrap that all up in the popular apocalyptic literary genre of its day with its pervasive use of symbolism. That mixture of elements is what gave rise to the Book of Revelation.
Set in Fairhope, Alabama, and the beach resort area of Scenic Highway 30A in Floridas panhandle, four thirty-something ladies support each other through the triumphs and hard decisions of life. The verses they study bring unexpected insights into their relationships with God, their families, and even themselves. Single ladies, Deli and Jess, gain greater insight into what it means to be a part of a godly relationship. Deli battles her abuse history and takes a step of faith toward a future she never imagined could be hers. Jess, on the other hand, struggles to come to terms with her failing three-year relationship with a man who has little interest in God and faith. Meanwhile, Anne and Lindsay confront issues of motherhood. Annes pre-teen daughter has begun a slow descent into silence and moodiness leading Anne to question her long-held beliefs about parenting. Lindsay has her own questions, but with two young daughters now both school-aged, hers is a battle of mothers guilt against a possible return to her first love: a career in law.Their questions are our questions. Their journeys are our journeys. Come join them as they discover their own answers and Gods plan for their lives on The Paths We Walk.
When we lose our childlike spirit, we lose our spirituality. Unless we become like little children, we will not enter the Kingdom of God. The words of this book are the inner childs insight of what happened in the Garden when Truth went missing.
A Walk Along The Path is the true story of a young mother widowed at the age of 25. Thrown into being a single, working parent of two children, with Gods grace, is able to pick up the pieces of loss and push forward. I AM was written because there was no resource specifically unwrapping the mystery of the Real Presence for children, which is a challenging topic for First Communion preparation. Presented in English and Spanish in a teasing question, prediction and answer format and illustrated with engaging watercolor and ink, I AM is designed to take the reader on an active journey of thinking and responding. It is packed with visual imagery of hidden surprises in nature and tied to biblical miracles of the burning bush of Moses, the divinity of Jesus, as well as the wedding at Cana and the multiplication of loaves and fishes. As the story progresses the narrator voice drops out and the child, who has been predicting answers, begins asking the questions, to which God answers, "e;I AM"e;. This leads to a touching conclusion at the altar.
It is easy sometimes to push the Lord out of our minds. He is so holy, pristine and powerful; how could Jesus ever be interested in me you think? You have made mistakes. We all have made mistakes. Perhaps you were in trouble with the law. You bounced some checks accidently. You havent prayed for a long time. You lost your job because you lost your temper. Again, you may say, why would God ever want me? All of us have had these thoughts in our most difficult moments. The Lord created humankind. He is an authority, an expert on humanity. God declares that he loves you with a mighty, magnificent and marvelous love. The topics in this book are very important for us. They come to us from the lips of Jesus.Jesus teaches us about gratitude, grace, giving, trust, positive influence, helping others, humility, forgiveness and action. God teaches us the value of each of these traits. When we incorporate these actions or traits into our lives, we are blessed. Some of Jesuss teachings are radical. He tells us to love our enemies, to forgive the unforgivable, to not think of ourselves as great masters but to be lowly servants. He declares that all people are very important. You may say some of his teachings are crazy but they are crazy good. If we can be filled with gratitude, grace, trust, generosity, humility, ministering to those in need and having a pure mind and heart. It is then that we find Gods peace and grace.
Upon these pages are poetic verses that may help one to laugh, to cry, and hopefully to encourage one to continue on with ones dreams and lifes work. Hopefully, the book will help people to identify with humanity in the perspective that each one is a creation of God, whom God loves personally.
We often anticipate the reward that is promised to us by the Lord. I am guilty myself; having thought that hes not a man that doesnt make unfulfilled promises. On the other hand, I never understood the essence in its fullest, that condition applies. In order for us to obtain his benefits, we have to adhere to his guidelines. We are the hindrances to our own blessings. What could have caused our blessings to be held up, much more in the branches of the trees? Matthew 6:33 is a perfect example, But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Instead we do the opposite by going ahead of Gods plans, and then unexpectedly there is a delay. After we have realized the promises are not forthcoming, we remind the Lord of his unfulfilled promises. In BLESSINGS HELD UP IN THE BRANCHES OF THE TREES, we will learn how to regain possession of what is rightfully ours. We need to apply all those principles outlined to us on a given day. I guarantee we will never be the same again.
A true Holocaust story, The Lion and the Lamb begins with a mysterious plane crash which catapults architect Albert Speer into Adolf Hitler's inner circle. When the two Nazi leaders become close confidantes, Speer is forced into constant competition with Heinrich Himmler, Joseph Goebbels and the unstable Hermann Goring. When a botched assassination attempt reveals Albert Speer's name in an SS investigation, Speer is ostracized by the staff and falls under Hitler's suspicion for disloyalty. As the Russian army advances on Berlin, Speer is poisoned, lied about, and forced to fight for his standing with the most evil and calculating men in Europe. Will Speer survive his last-minute trip to the Fuhrer's bunker just hours before the end? The Lion and the Lamb also tells the story of a Dutch Resistance worker named Corrie ten Boom who leads her entire family into a desperate struggle against the Nazi's anti-Jewish policies in Holland. Like Speer, Corrie is thrust into a psychological torture chamber suffering daily anguish from abusive guards. She is forced to travel from prison to prison in Nazi death trains after her underground operation is raided by the secret police. A novel of innocence, betrayal and tragedy, The Lion and the Lamb is an absorbing tale of how war-torn people cling to the power of faith, hope and love.

Each one of us have a name we like to be called and that name is how we introduce ourselves to others. For many of us our name was given careful thought and consideration. Often times we are named after a relative or someone who made a significant impact on one or both of our parents. God also has a name that He used to introduce Himself to Moses and to the children of Israel. That name is Yahweh.Yahweh is Gods holy name used throughout the Old Testament. A lot of people have never heard the name Yahweh and find it to be foreign, unfamiliar or even strange. How sad that as a people of God we have not been taught Gods holy name, the name He wants to be known by. In writing this book I hope to make Yahweh a name known by, respected by and spoken with reverence by Gods holy people. God has called me to write this book. My desire is like that of the Psalmist when he says, That they may know that You, whose name alone is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth (Psalm 83:18). As believers we should not be ignorant of Gods holy name Yahweh and the promises that follow knowing Him. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation (Psalm 91:14-16). Do you understand the depth of the promises God has made here? Have you set your love upon God? Do you know Gods name? Gods name is Yahweh.
This is a story about faith. As simple as that sounds, sometimes all of us need an example of how faith inevitably becomes the single most important component of who we are, what we do, and what we will become. Bring the Rain is an inspirational and personal account of Mike Mitcheners encounter with death and his time in heaven. This book is a quick read for anyone who is searching. As we seek for meaning and purpose in life, we may wonder, "e;What is it all about?"e; Along the road of seeking happiness we may have felt hindered, hurt, hopeless, empty or unsettled. We try filling the emptiness with more and more of what we think is good, or to dull the pain. We seek for solutions as we go about our lives, but are not truly content with what we find. That was me, in good measure, in one direction, and then another. Life was my playground, and all about me. I sought happiness in my pleasure; a life of hedonism. What could be more satisfying than a life of pleasure? But that life left me empty. Though I did not want to admit it, I was lost. All my hopes and dreams never delivered me, or brought lasting joy. Although an irreligious man, I started reading the Bible. What could this ancient book bring me? Yet through the reading of it, I found that all I have ever needed was in the universal gospel message of Jesus. He is seeking the lost and finding them, even this day, filling the emptiness, removing despair, and bringing great hope and abundant life. This book may speak to you, through the gospel in each chapter, uniquely. May you find, as I did, that the living Savior is daily seeking and saving the lost.
