This book, Faith Dynamics, is about the principles of faith. It details the difference between the aspect of faith or "believing" as it relates to redemption, and the use of "faith" as a force in accomplishing things for God in this world! Jesus assuredly said: "Whatever you ask in prayer believing, you will receive." Never have we needed prayer to work, as we need it today. How to develop belief and apply it to the tasks of "moving mountains" in our lives is what this book endeavors to share with the reader/student. The goal and intent is that each reader will reach new levels of empowerment in meeting life's obstacles and challenges-head on! You are about to discover WHY "faith" is the victory that overcomes the world, moves mountains and guarantees that we will get results when we pray!
"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;" (Hebrews 2:3). Part of our deliverance rests in the knowledge of our salvation. Those who neglect it are unable to attain the fullness of deliverance and blessing God has provided for His children. Our salvation, born of God, is immense and immeasurable indeed! This book, Great Words of the Gospel, will open up your understanding to that vastness. The various paradigms of our salvation in Christ, are introduced and explored through a detailed study of the "salvation-related" words found in the Bible, The plan and purpose of God to provide us with complete safety and soundness eternally, is seen through the use of these Great Words of the Gospel! Concepts of salvation are illumined by examining the meanings of the key words God Himself chose to use in Scripture; the New Birth, our redemption, the Atonement, various types of covenants, our propitiation, the meaning of marriage, adoption and justification among other key words. God has made an immense investment to set us free! Most people have no idea, just how saved we really are! That is about to change. You are about to discover the degree of effort and expertise God has applied to save us " to the uttermost."
Reading Paul's letter to the Ephesians should be enough to convert anyone to Christ. Try to imagine a devout Christian of our time suddenly converting to the worship of the Greek god Zeus, and being willing to endure fearful hardship, floggings, torture, imprisonment and eventual execution, in order to spread his beliefs around the world. Not only that, but this new convert now derides all other religions, and passionately insists that salvation and eternal life can be found only through total belief in Zeus and the other deities who were presumed to reside on Mt Olympus! What sort of cataclysmic event would be necessary to bring about such an improbable transformation? Probably something like what happened to Paul! He met the risen Christ on the road to Damascus, and was changed for ever. At once a fiercely patriotic Jew, who was actively persecuting the church became its most fervent and famous member. Nothing less than the truth of the gospel can explain Paul's letters, especially Ephesians with its wonderfully exalted portrayal of Christ. If the gospel is not true then some other equally astonishing explanation of the letter must be found, which no one has ever been able to do. This book digs up and displays some of the amazing treasures that lie in Paul's short but immeasurably lovely letter to the Christians in ancient Ephesus. Rev Ken Chant (M.R.E., Ph.D) is an Australian pastor, teacher, and church planter, who has written more than 40 books on scripture and Christian life. He has preached in many countries around the world, and in many denominations. He and Alison, his wife of nearly 60 years, reside in Sydney. He was trained as a Baptist pastor, but in the 1950s he joined the Australian group known as CRC Churches International and has held credentials with them ever since, except for 10 years in the USA during the 1980s, when he held an Assemblies of God credential. He founded a Bible correspondence school in Launceston, Tasmania, in 1974, which he and Dr Stan DeKoven later developed into a local-church based college, now known as The International Training and Education Network (Ramona, California).
This book The Cross and the Crown, By Ken Chant, covers the earthly ministry of Jesus. This is a companion book to both Emmanuel, which shows the full humanity and the deity of Christ, and the significance of this to us, and the book Highly Exalted, which covers the heavenly ministry of Jesus. The first section The Cross, reveals what the suffering of the cross meant to Jesus; what it means to us, and its wonderful power to redeem and to change our lives; to save and heal and deliver us from the fear of death. The second section The Crown, deals with the resurrection. This included the proofs of the resurrection, our own glorious future with Christ, and the ability and the power that the resurrection gives us to live victoriously, now in this present world.
This book, Better Than Revival, takes a pragmatic look at Christian ministry and the concepts of revival and church growth. It covers the typical syndromes that hinder God's plan for growth and success in fulfilling His call on the Church. It keeps in view the biblical models for revival, growth and harvest in the Kingdom of God and reveals the most common assumptions that can be counterproductive to His plans and purposes. The historical experiences of the Church are reviewed in light of Scripture and God's proven methodologies for success. Our responsibilities for bringing about a sure harvest are explained as well as the simple ways, we can prepare for a powerful, supernatural move by God's Spirit. In the end, the reader will come to realize that there are some things in God's plan and purpose, that are indeed, Better than Revival!
What a year it has been. Since I first became involved with Vision, my personal journey has been rocky at best, and the roller coaster in many ways continues today. Vision International University and ITEN (International Teaching and Education Network) of which I joyfully give leadership, continues to grow, change and mature, and at the same time our challenges continue. Now we are facing challenges of growth, and strategic changes must be made for everyone's vested future. Each year we have a Vision and Leadership Conference, or what we call our World Zone Leaders conference. We have divided the world into regions, and have developed leaders in each area who are dedicated to seeing the Whole Word taken to the Whole World. This is the motto of ITEN/Vision since its inception in 1974. In 2007, we met in Athens, Greece, with our Mediterranean and European World Zone leadership, and leaders from around the world. After a time of fellowship and renewing friendships, we settled into our meetings on the World Zone system and accreditation. Who would have thought that we would have such an extensive outreach, with such quality leaders from around the world? From Eastern Europe, Dr. Ernie Campe and his wife Linda reported that the Vision schools are growing in their region. As of today, they are working with over 1500 students in five nations and working with fifty-five local churches. In the Middle East, Dr. Jerry Zandstra and Yvette D'Sousa, along with Dr. Tim and Laurie Dailey report that the outreach is making a real impact. In partnership with the International School of Ministry, hundreds of students are being trained, and we are expanding into Jordan and other Middle Eastern nations. In Western Europe we have added five new schools. Those are in Switzerland, Italy and the UK. Denis Plant is heading to the UK in May to solidify arrangements for more schools in England, which is a real answer to prayer.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalitites, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." (Ephesians 6:12-13 KJV) This text is second in a two-volume set that takes a hard look into the kingdom of light... and the kingdom of darkness. It is the author's hope that these studies will greatly enrich your understanding of the place of angels and demons in God's world. These volumes take a strictly, non-anecdotal approach to the subject matter, adhering strictly to only principles and experiences that come directly from God's Word. Every attempt has been made to avoid the "sensationalistic" approach to the unseen world of spiritual activity. The lessons are designed to enhance your confidence in God, and to ensure your participation in the victory that Jesus has provided His saints.
