About The Author - Traci Musick-Shaffer is a contributing writer for InflammatoryBowelDisease.net and has been a high school English teacher for over twenty-eight years. When not teaching, she advocates for others living with IBD and speaks about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
