The purpose of life is to live a life of purpose. Being uncertain of one''s self, or one''s existence, will make it difficult to fulfill one''s purpose. There is an order to this. I pray that this journey of self-discovery will help you to gain Your-Self with knowing how to discover yourpurpose for your life and to help YOU embrace YOU so that one day you can tell your own story the way it was meant to be told!
Climate change-previously and more accurately referred to as global warming-is not some trivial title given to the inconvenience of an unexpected rainstorm on the day of your family's picnic. It is not about the frustration you feel when a surprise November snowstorm hits on the day you have important travel plans.Climate change is a proven global deteriorationof traditional weather patterns. The speed and severity of that change have been unnaturally accelerated and amplified by human interference in every phase of nature's delicate balance. It affects every single thing we do during every single day of our existence. Because much of its impact has not hugely touched the lives of the under-informed, Because much of it is unseen and therefore plausibly "deniable," Because it has not yet personally effected enough influential legislators, and Because most are preoccupied with their day-to-day survival…we as a people have chosen to ignore the pending crisis. Not a potential crisis, a pending crisis.
Psalms 37:23 declares that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his way! This is a very amazing and important scripture to comprehend. Because it declares that the steps to the path of your life have already been determined. Which means that success in life is simply placing your feet in the footprints that God has already established for you. In his book “You’re Not Behind,” Pastor David Roberson gives us clear understanding of not only how to discover your PURPOSE, but also how to skillfully and strategically walk out your PATH to it. This book is the answer to the question that lies deep within the subconscious of every human born. Why am I here? Until this question is answered, the TRUE life that God has destined for you will never be realized. Because after all, if you don’t know what you are BORN for, you will never truly know what to LIVE for. Isaac PitreChrist Nations Church
After many years of writing in my prayer journal, I heard God say, tell your story to encourage someone else; so here I am praying that this book blesses you tremendously. Many of us struggle with our faith especially when we experience severe trials; but there is no faith worth having that has not been tested by fire. My prayer is that your struggle will not destroy your faith, but instead it will strengthen it. A faith that has been refined becomes more precious than gold, because it lasts. My hope is that you, the reader will be motivated and inspired to increase your faith.
Over the years I have heard so many people talk about the impact that love has had on them or the hurt that they have experienced from love. Some of them recovered quickly, some of them recovered slowly, and some of them never recovered at all.Love in itself is a marvelous thing until you add people to the equation. It sounds funny, but love is pure and fluid. It flows through countless lives hoping to find a place to live. We as people may have the best of intentions, but because we are all different, we handle each other based on what we have learned and who we have become. Life molds our views, our values, our decisions, our goals and our methods. So unintentional or not we could at some point, mishandle love.On the other hand, there are those of us who have mastered selflessness and acceptance. We have dealt with our own issues and now enjoy the results of our growth and development in spite of what we have been through. We now enjoy love.I hope that with the stories and information you find here, it will simplify your process and help you obtain what you truly desire on this unavoidable journey called love. I pray that you enjoy this collaboration. I have kept it near and dear to me so that when it was time I could present it to you; from my heart to yours.....~ Dawn M. Once upon a time, there was a young girl who was full of joyous energy and loved to smile. She was fearless, ambitious, and loved herself despite her differences. People described her as bubbly, happy and sparkly. Then one day, the dark spell of life and the difficulties it can bring came over the young girl. She began to experience stress and sorrow. She became very good at taking care of others but forgot to take care of herself. She focused more on the distractions of life and got sidetracked from what was important. One day, she kneeled down to pray and asked the Lord, how she lost her spark. The Lord responded and said "my child, you must learn to cultivate your moments and listen to what you are telling yourself. You must learn to trust your struggles and stop people pleasing. Learn to take the limits off and embrace your perfect imperfections. You must shine like a diamond and dream beyond your nightmare. As you are in pursuit of happiness, you must pay attention to who deserves your time and design the life you love and want. Stop carrying what is not yours to carry and challenge yourself to make today your someday. Remember my child, no is not a bad word, and you should never allow others to determine your self-worth. Just be you. Despite your challenges, focus on what you can do now. Get unstuck and stop trying to save people. Be patient and always choose to love and smile".After many years, now a woman, life still presented its difficulties, and she released the shadow from her past. She was finally tired of feeling tired and living in darkness. She was finally tired of being unhappy. She realized she wanted to live a long and happy life and she had to take ACTION. Through continued prayer, positive thinking, speaking life into her situation and the encouragement of those around her, she learned how to own her power and spark. She learned to create boundaries, she learned to create balance, and she learned to take care and love herself. There she was! She was smiling and laughing again. She finally found her power and her own SPARK which had been buried under years of neglect.
Heaven is Not Automatic was birthed out of my desire to fulfill the Great Commission; sharing the truth of God's Word in simplicity to those who may not otherwise read the bible. My passion is to help others understand that heaven is not a guarantee for everyone that departs this life. God loves us (His creation) so much and desires that we become His children and spend eternity with Him, but unless we understand His Kingdom (His ways of doing things), we could miss heaven. In this book, I will bring an understanding of the ways of God through His Word. I have compiled the relating scriptures that highlight the chapters presented, and I believe they will give specific truths that address this subject. The truth is, God loves us and Scripture tells us that, "it is not His Will that any should parish" but that they come to repentance," (2 Peter 3:9) because He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. (Ezekiel 33:11). Some people believe that everyone will automatically go to heaven when they transition from this life. I use the word transition because when your spirit leaves your body, your spirit, who is the real you, will go on to live forever in one of two places. It's not popular nor is it acceptable to some belief systems, that God will send people to hell. The truth is, God does not send people to hell. He gives us the opportunity to choose heaven, but when we don't accept His invitation to receive Jesus, we automatically choose hell. He gives us that right. While all of us are creations of God, we are not automatically a child of God. There are requirements that have to be met before anyone can call themselves a child of God. I pray this book gives you insight and clarity so that you might be able to make an intelligent decision and choose the Lord Jesus Christ. I desire more than anything to be obedient to the great commission. Praying with those I encounter to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and disciplining them to do the same for others. As a Christian, it is my responsibility to share the Good News of the Gospel. This book is written with scriptures compiled from the Holy Bible and my personal experiences. More than anything I want you to have the information you needed to obtain a full understanding of what salvation truly is. There may be some information that is hard for you to understand, consider the information that you can relate to, and pray for understanding for the rest. If you are reading this book and have not trusted your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, I pray this will be a tool that leads you to make the most important decision that you will ever make in your life and then share it with your family and friends.
Every so often a book comes along that forces us to examine our ministerial identity in light of the immense pressures placed upon us by those we seek to help. The weight of ministry can be enormous. Few have been as transparent as Ricardo Dorcean. This book is a masterpiece that carefully examines the burden of ministry amidst the blessing of being called. It is a fact that a man with an opinion is never at the mercy of a man with experience. His experiences have given him something for all of us. Many leaders are often disillusioned by the resistance they experience within the church and fall into depression, resign or even contemplate or commit suicide. This book is a God send for any leader who needs help working through the challenges of ministry. It also helps the laity in understanding their role in pushing many clergy over the edge.I am convinced that God has given Ricardo Dorcean a word in this season to bring healing to the body of Christ. There is so much pain in our churches and many clergy are hurting with nowhere to heal. Before you hang up your harps on the willow tree, read this book. It will encourage you to dig for deeper meanings in your call and truly assess your motivations. This book is a what, how and when book. It explains what happens within the life of leadership and the church and explains how certain scenarios play out. It also gives you insight on when you react or move. Countless leaders in the past could have benefited from this book. You have an opportunity to sit at the feet of someone who has lived this out. I encourage every leader and laity alike to read this book. I am convinced that our churches will be better and our leaders will be stronger.Bishop Joseph Warren Walker, IIISenior Pastor: Mount Zion Baptist Church-Nashville Presiding Bishop-Elect Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship
