Besondere Beachtung findet dabei die Frage der Einordnung der Richtlinien in die Rechtsquellensystematik und die Problematik der demokratischen Legitimation des G-BA zur Normsetzung.Daran schließt sich eine ausführliche Darstellung der Verfahren zur Integration neuer Untersuchungs- und Behandlungsmethoden in die ambulante und stationäre Versorgung an. The failure of standard multivariate statistics to analyze such functional data has led the statistical community to develop appropriate statistical methodologies, called Functional Data Analysis (FDA).
