    Sweet Lime Peel Oil (SLPO) has been increasingly studied as a renewable and sustainable alternative fuel for direct injection diesel engines. The Fuel Characterization of SLPO is an important step towards assessing its potential as a feasible biofuel. In this context, the author G.Logesh has conducted a comprehensive study on the characterization of SLPO as fuel for diesel engines.The study involves the evaluation of several fuel properties, including flash point, fire point, calorific value, viscosity, density, sulfur content, ash content, moisture content, oxidation stability, cetane number, acid number, total acid number, carbon residue, pour point, and cloud point.
