But let me holla at you about the chillest, realist, hittiness, no quitiness Brother to ever spit rhyme. And He was the greatest of all time! Today is the day to reread the story of Jesus Christ from a rather different outlook, an outlook so unique that it is sure to not only introduce a new perspective on the story to adults, but introduce this powerful story of our Lord and Savior to young adults. This is the story of Jesus told by Brother Moses in the "hip hop go go" language of today's youth. During a trip to the Rick Ball Players Showcase in Miami, Florida, Brother Moses discovered, to his dismay, that many of the high school students, though they debated about popular music and lyrics, did not talk about Jesus or even mention His name. He knew these were not the only teens who did not know His story, so after thinking back to what he listened to at their age, he decided to write out the story using words they could relate to. Brother Moses Tells the Story of Jesus introduces teen readers to a condensed retelling of how Jesus healed the people to His twelve disciples and their ultimate betrayal to His crucifixion to, finally, His resurrection. As an ordained minister, Brother Moses has preached this retelling over the years, and has received incredible reactions. He has found that the younger members in his audiences get very excited when they hear it, and even older members are appreciative of the language and are inspired by the story. Slang changes so quickly from generation to generation, yet the story of Jesus remains the same. A simple rephrasing of words, as Brother Moses has demonstrated, will ensure all generations know the story of their Lord and Savior.

Part personal experience, part history with humor, part Christian teachings, and a narrative of two heavenly visits. This book is written to fill the reader with hope, joy, a little humor, and much encouragement. The starting narrative is a three-year-old showing her faith and trust in God. You find her walking and growing in God's Word and staying the course God planned for her long life on earth. These stories will fill the reader with a better understanding of God's voice and that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit (one God) is willing and able to communicate with His people in many ways. Such as (1) speaking to you in an audible voice when no one else in the room hears Him speaking. (2) He speaks through dreams and visions. (3) He uses the power of the Holy Spirit speaking through His anointed messengers with tongues and interpretation. (4) His magnificent creation of heaven and earth bears witness, and He speaks through His written Scriptures: reading your Bible. God can send an angel dressed as an everyday person with a message, and you are unaware that an angel is visiting you. Yes, God speaks to people today, and we can be in constant communication with Him. Our job is to listen and have faith: God calls us to be available and faithful. A sinner saved by grace is how Betty describes herself. She met Jesus at the age of three. Her first church responsibility was as a church organist and youth choir director. After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1979, she realized her place in the body was that of the "unidentified minstrel" (2 Kings 3:15). She plays her instrument and the Holy Spirit ministers. God also gifted Betty as a teacher of golden nuggets from His Word. She is licensed and ordained through Kingsway Fellowship of Des Moines, Iowa. Betty has been associated locally with Fisherman's Net Ministries for twenty-five years under the leadership of Rev. Annetta Durst.
Be victorious! That is what it means to be a Christian as it is God's will that all of His children be saved and live a victorious life. However, far too often God's teachings are forgotten and the study of His Word is neglected to the point where life only seems to provide dark valleys and sinful behaviors. We as Christians can live that wonderful life God always intended us to live, and Charleen Norman has done just that in The Key to a Victorious Christian Life. This sharing of the good news is to be used as a tool to help Christians become successful and victorious in Christ. Within these pages are key traits that help to make up admirable Christians, including: - Receiving the Holy Spirit through baptism - The gift of God's grace - The importance of praying daily - Remembering to rest on the Sabbath day - Being a witness to others and sharing God's Word - Demonstrating humility to humble one's self before God - And many more To accompany these traits, Christians will be educated on Jesus's second coming and the events to follow when the end times arrive. From preparing for Jesus's return to the rapture to the millennium to the creation of New Jerusalem, Christians will be better prepared for their new lives after death. Norman's hope for this useful and inspiring tool is to inspire, support, and encourage others to succeed and be victorious in all areas of their lives. As hope and victory can only be achieved through Christ, it is up to us as Christians to step up and listen to the good news so that we, too, can be victorious. Charleen Norman, is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is blessed and thankful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for inspiring her to write this book. One of her greatest passions is sharing the message of salvation with those who are yet to accept the Lord as their Savior. Her hope and prayer is that readers of her book are blessed and inspired to share the message of salvation and live a victorious and prosperous Christian life.
Are you married but struggling with maintaining your vows long-term? Marriage is a pillar of society, and it is also the relationship God uses to display His nature, His design, and His love for humanity. Yet, too often, we fall into what we believe is "love" and then wrongly think seedling love will be able to carry us through a life-long commitment. As our marital relationship continues, we forget to routinely check its spiritual vital signs-which in turn leads to a broken, dysfunctional, or failed marriage. But God shows us a better way. Rev. Dr. Jimmie Hicks Jr. is the founder of Start Right Ministries and has been involved with countless ministries in various capacities throughout his life. He has been married to his wife, Lynda, for thirty-one years and is passionate about seeing marriages thrive the way God designed. From Rev. Dr. Hicks' years of experience walking in Jesus' abundant life with his wife, you'll learn: ● The value of spiritual vital signs in assessing the health of your marriage ● The different types of power and how they benefit marriage ● The characteristics of true love from God's Word ● The roles within marriage as defined by God ● God's plan for marriage At the end of each chapter, workbook sections and action points will help you assess the vital signs in your marriage. The fleeting romance portrayed in the world will never be enough to sustain your marriage through all the ups and downs of life. But God, through His Holy Spirit, offers you the strength for a successful marriage! Equip yourself with The Spiritual Vital Signs of a Christian Marriage so you can take the pulse of your marriage and ensure it never fails.
This book is meant to inspire everyone, because everyone has a story, and as a collective human race, we are all the different shades of a story. We individually hold a beauty that is within us. I seek to encourage each individual to express one's inner beauty and allow each other to shine. That all would realize the individual beauty within one's own self and share it with others from a place of self love, that transfers even more love. Greetings to all readers, thank you for choosing to read my creative expressions, these mean a lot to me. I hope that each verse of thought brings the reader to a level of peace, love, and consideration for others. I am a Paraprofessional in the kindergarten thru eight grade public school system. I enjoy teaching and the many opportunities to build positive interactions with all of my students and nurturing their creativity. I tutor students in math, and I teach behavioral skills. I just love the human race, we are all unique and we all have the gift of life on the inside of us; and we all have the ability to sustain one another; both in living and dying, we are mankind: we are THE HUMAN RACE, we are HUMANITY! Here is my email if any reader would like to comment or discuss this book. e70980278@gmail.com
My poems are a list of things I would describe about the universe, and all of the beauty in the world that I have witnessed throughout my life. From the cleansing, soothing rain at night, to the marvelous flowers I have felt beneath my bare toes. I hope this encourages everyone not to take these things for granted, and appreciate the smaller comforts of life. From good times spent with family, to relaxing moments spent with a loved one, all of my poems are inspired by amazing experiences I have had throughout my life. My mental library ranges from images of the ocean floor to strolls taken through grassy fields. I do hope my words fill your mind with peace, my friend. I am currently a warehouse worker. I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Throughout my life, I have lived in many different places, including Texas, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Louisiana. I currently live with my Father, who is a chiropractor. I have spent a lot of time writing stories and poems and collecting figurines, books, and movies. I have always had a vivid imagination. I am fascinated with the idea of alternate universes and realities. I think the idea of time travel is very cool. I enjoy pretending I am somewhere far away. I am autistic, and I have a unique perception of the world. I often wonder how my life would be different if I was not autistic. My world, at times, seems chaotic. Creating and writing poems has always come quite naturally to me. When I write my poems, I imagine things that are happy and peaceful.
The Bag Lady is about things that happen to us in life that we have no control over, things that cause our feelings to be wacked, due to all the things that has transpired in our life, that keeps us in bondage, these feelings tend to bring bags that we carry from one relationship to another. Go with me as we take a closer look at what, where, why, when, and how, we learn to carry, these bags in which we choose due to our painful experiences and then determine what, when or how we will let them, all go, or change them to a positive bag. We look deep into the reason we feel, respond, act, and do what the necessary and sometimes unnecessary things that we find ourselves in, and learn how to uproot everything that has held us back from being who God created us to be! Freda Blair is the pastor of Christ Temple Apostolic Church, she is a teacher at Grace School of Ministry and a Certified Chaplain, she is a Ordained Pastor with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and a District Elder with The First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee. Out of her lived experiences she birthed the Broken Pieces Annual Women's Retreat. As the founder and Visionary of the Broken Pieces Ministry, she has purposed and positioned herself to speak life into as many women as possible during what is referred to as the "Mountain Experience." The Lord Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." The Roman Catholic Cardinal, Hugo De Saneto Caro wrongly divided the scripture in 1244. Every believer is to rightly divide the word of truth, and the New Testament begins at Romans. Romans is the doctrine of grace given only to the Apostle Paul. I am a Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Dispensationalist, Zionist, Ambassador of Christ. Early beginnings in a large family of 14, raised in the City of concrete and Steel. I loved to drive and learned to drive a truck and did it for 40 years. Married at 21, we have 2-sons, and 6 grandchildren being 1 for 52 years. I was born of the Spirit on April 22, 1983 on the road to Indianapolis Indiana and have been walking by Faith for 40 years. Now I follow Paul, doing the Father's will as I am directed by the Holy Spirit. Every believer is to rightly divide the Word of Truth 2-Timothy 2-15, this is what I have done by revelation.
This is again my second self-help book for children to adults. It identifies attitudes in each individual. We are responsible for the safety and mental safety of not just our children but the children of others. A mirror as all we should be interested in. Behavior is important in society. This book is designed to scare children into safety. As author I am also a Christian Woman and welcome you to some of the insight God has given me through this book. As you read in this opening I gave my new beginnings yes my virginity to a Teacher in my school. This book when read by me it still offers me therapy and a cured feeling even to this day. I've always wanted to be a Writer and a Photographer all my life and this is what I am doing. I am still a Tom boy and am 52 years old now. After attending many God fearing Churches I landed as a Jehovah Witness. My wish is that this book be read in school and used as a stepping stone to stop you know what in schools and homes.

The journey continues. The first book, Celebrating the Lord's Feasts: A Journey into His Presence, took me on a journey into the Feasts of the Lord. Studying and observing the Feasts of the Lord, I discovered that God's time is different from mine. The Bible speaks very clear that God does things in His time. God created the world and all that there is in seven days (Genesis 1-2:3), there is a season and time to every purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:1), and God raised Jesus up in three days (Acts 10:40). The time I know and operate from is the Georgian calendar and that is fine for the natural world I live in but what about heaven's calendar? We are to walk and live in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). There is a spiritual, godly calendar that will give us insight into God's time. Have you ever noticed in the Bible that something happened in the seventh month on the fourteen day? If so, that does not mean July 14. God's time is connected to the Hebrew calendar. As believers in Jesus we need to understand the Hebrew calendar to understand God's time. Take the Journey into the Time of God and be blessed by what you discover. Deborah A. Logan is a native of Philadelphia, PA. Burn Forward is a powerful memoir that recounts the experiences of a Christian who has faced deceit, slander, and manipulation from fellow Christians. Welcome to Hashem... The Name, a book of ancient discovery! Have you ever wondered why God is referred to as God or Lord? Or wondered if God has a name, a personal name? How did our savior/Messiah come to have the name known worldwide today? As children, we accept the traditions of our parents passing them down to our own children. What is the truth of our savior's name? As adults, we must investigate with a sincere heart if we truly want to please our Creator. The investigation has been done for you in this book. You are all encouraged to do your own research and verify! Hashem... The Name outlines the model of Moshe/Moses, who received the first revelation of the Name of the Hebrew God. He then revealed the name to the Israelites, who were in bondage in Egypt, and Pharaoh their captor. This name is not to be forgotten but remembered, spoken, prayed to, and worshipped. Moshe brought the Israelites to Mount Sinai, where our Creator further revealed himself and his instructions written by his finger on tablets of stone, today known as the Ten Commandments. Our Creator is holy and looks for his people to follow his direction. In this book, our savior is introduced as King and the Jewish Redeemer, echoing our Creator's instructions with better promises. Today, society has wandered and strayed from the Creator. This book will emphasize the basic tenets of the biblical faith of our forefathers. Enemies of the faith tear down these laws from buildings. Our Creator's master plan is to place his laws upon our hearts, written in like manner, by the Spirit of the Highest, never to be erased by man. A woman is like a pie, deliciously fragrant and filled with the fruits of the Spirit. But as life throws its challenges, pieces of her pie are taken, or ingredients that make the pie so delicious are nowhere to be found. Suddenly, her pie is no longer fit for eating. Ladies, what does your pie look like today? The emptiness of our plates is due to our allowing the vital pieces of ourselves to be stolen by worldly hands, leaving God's beautiful and once whole, hearty female creation to be picked over. In What a Woman Needs, Pastor Penny Butler, overseer Women of Determination Ministries in Chicago, Illinois, works to inspire women, helping them to overcome the trials and tribulations occurring in everyday life by applying the Word of the God. Pastor Butler shares with readers her own experiences of failure and victory and takes them through her personal walk with God. Butler aims to strengthen and motivate women as an overcomer through God's grace, wisdom, and love. As women, we must remember to look to God to fulfill our needs and not to turn to our worldly desires for fulfillment and affirmation. We must be uplifted in knowing that God will never leave us alone or ask us to settle for anything that is less than Him and what He offers to His faithful children. In Jesus's name, allow Him to provide you with the ingredients to a fruitful and satisfying life on Earth.
My name is Brandi I'm the writer of this book I was born to Calvin and Joyce Busby on June 11th, 1977. They was the best parents to my brother and I. My father worked for 37 years on the railroad. Three different ones first Rio Grande then Southern Pacific, then Union by the time he said goodbye. My mother worked for a dry cleaner, then republic parking when she retired. My mom was so beautiful, just the fact which my dad is like this to they would give their shirt away to help someone. We are kind of private people, however not me so much. My brother Travis passed away February 21st, 2019. He had an enlarged heart and cardiovascular disease. He was the best brother a girl could ask for. Obviously, everyone who buys my book will no this. He really looked out for his kid sister. We had a dog name cricket, a cat name Mitzy growing up I really loved and still love them. So, from my summary you know how much our parents loved us. I think I loved them more. I'm not really putting Travis this just because my book I talked about him a lot. So now it's my dad and I. Unfortunately, mom passed March 31st, 2023. She was sick a lot she passed from end stages of COPD. But I have a lot of cousins that help us out a lot. I'm jobless as of right now but will see what happens. No kids and never married.
