Young and old alike, will find comfort and inspiration in these profound nature writings from an older time, done in chronological journal style. A Road of Glory showcases creative writings that are vivid, descriptive, and filled with a softness that illustrates God's place on earth. Color photos and paintings by the author complement the text. This book is simply written with a complexity of thoughtfulness; a beautiful nature book from out of the past. When young, Kathleen (Kathy) Marie Leary lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A love of the outdoors was instilled early, as the family would drive on weekends to their woodland cottage on Wolf Lake, near Baldwin, Michigan. Kathy looked forward to those trips, to be with all things nature: the flora and fauna. Growing up took Kathy to eight states. While in Kentucky, the author earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Humanities and Psychology from Bellarmine College, Louisville. After college, Kathy entered the field of radio operations. Kathy's creative writings were chosen for inclusion in the book, "Keeping Time: 150 years of Journal Writing" by Passager Press. Ms. Leary has written travel articles for several diverse publications, including Reader's Digest Association's "Country" magazine and "Camping Today." The author is also an accomplished artist favoring oil painting. Kathy Leary loves all animals and has a tabby cat named Boo.

If all the hell I have been through were to awaken me to who I am and ought to be, then God, I thank you for the process. Without it I would have never known my true self and the greatness that exists in me. It was painful but necessary. I religiously wore the cloak of the church society seeking their approval as if they were the architect of my destiny. Thus, burdening myself with unnecessary weight along with my own lies which I lived through the lens of lost self-worth and mental degradation. Do I cherish the hurt and take my revenge? Or do I forgive, so I can heal and be restored? How do I escape; psychological entrapment; marital imprisonment and religious barriers? Who knows!

No matter what you go through in life, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If you keep your eyes focused on God, you can get through anything in this world. The Bible tells us, we will go through trials and tribulations in this life. That we do not get a pass just because we are Christians, or Catholics. But the Bible does tell us that God will be with us through those storms in our lives, to carry us through to the other side. Cindy and her children went through so much, but are doing so well today. All three of them are doing well financially and keep God close to them. They know that is what has, and what will keep them going until God calls them home. My name is Cindy, I am from Portland, Oregon. I enjoy working for the Lord, and hanging out with my grandchildren. I wrote this book to encourage anyone, and everyone to look to God for our problems. That even in the darkest times, there is a light. And his name is Jesus! If it was not for him carrying me through all of my storms, I would not be in this world, to write this book today.

My name is Fenet my family came from Ethiopia, but I born here in North Carolina USA. I enjoy playing instruments, but I enjoy play the keyboard on my free time. What inspired me was in second grade when we are learning fossils, we were doing a partner work and I was paired up and then I realized it was messy project and the box had come with tools and after we finished, I was amazed about the fossil but of course it wasn't real, but it was fun and messy. I don't have any website.

A strawberry has many seeds on the outside of its surface. These seeds are attached to the strawberry, and when planted, they begin to grow. The same phenomena occurs within our hearts. Throughout life, seeds of emotion, trauma, and experience are planted in our hearts, and we began to sow these seeds. If we've been rejected, a seed of rejection is planted in our hearts, we began to sow seeds of rejection, and on and on. The Strawberry Seeds by Ciera Fulcher was inspired by the seed of love that God planted within her. Meet Luke and Mia, high school sweethearts with seeds of insecurity already sprouting in their hearts. As the sprouts grow taller, and as the couple grows older, more seeds are sown, and the two find themselves at a constant crossroads, unsure of how to heal their past transgressions. It is through this story that Ciera Fulcher describes how a man and woman have to find God in order to learn how to truly love one another unconditionally and replant the garden of their hearts.' Throughout our journeys, we can pick up unhealthy and unwelcome seeds that are sown to our hearts by other people, but God wants us to let the seed of love overtake those seeds that were planted in us. Whether they are seeds that were planted from childhood or adulthood, God wants us to experience Him so we can experience unconditional love and sow seeds from Him in the hearts of others.

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Jeremiah 1:12 (AMP) Then said the Lord to me, "You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it." Some people say they live paycheck-to-paycheck. My finances were so out of control, I was living paycheck-to-money-running-low before the next paycheck! I realize abruptly resigning from my job the day after being diagnosed with breast cancer didn't help matters. But that diagnosis let me know the stress of that job was literally killing me! Later, going deeper into a financial valley, I felt I had no choice but to file bankruptcy. So here I was...I'd hit financial "rock bottom!" But God...In January 2019, I chose to meditate on the two scriptures above. I activated my faith and took God at His Word. And it WORKED!! Consistently returning God's Word back to Him caused my financial situation to make a "miraculous" 180-degree turn. I BELIEVED and I SPOKE! And God honored His Word. Scripture Romans 2:11 tells us, "For there is no respect of persons with God." God has no "favorites." If YOU believe and speak...He can do the same for you! Tammy McBride was born in Buena Vista, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Tri-County High School in Marion County in 1982. One month thereafter, she departed to serve in the United States Air Force and did so honorably for 23 years, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in 2005. Her career background in Supply Logistics led her to jobs in the civilian sector operating in that same skill set. Since 2011, she has faithfully served in the New Members Ministry at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, Georgia. She takes great joy in being a vessel for Christ encouraging people of God to commit their lives in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is single with no children and resides in Dallas, Georgia.

These poems and stories were written at different times in the author's life, i.e., youth, teen, and adult. Some reflect the immortality of his youth, where he had visions of saving the world, and speaking truth to power. Others reflect his desire to be freed from incarceration, physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally; all while he is wrongfully confined in an archaic world that eats away at the morality of man. The poems and stories come from a place of longing, suffering, and never-ending hope; in a place where the tangible is hard and inanimate. Despite being wrongfully incarcerated for 30 years, the author is still hopeful that he will be released. Tommie Seymore was born in Georgia and moved to Detroit, MI with his family when he was 3 years old. He has worked as a Personal Operations Aide, specifically in the area of suicide prevention, and as a legal writer where he assists other inmates in their pursuit of freedom. He is also a certified Braille transcriber; and is a father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many.

You know how the things your mom repeated the most are the things that you still hear ringing inside your head? I know that feeling oh too well because I was my mother's primary caregiver for the last 10 years of her life. I can still hear her saying things like, "when given the choice of 'either/or', usually the best answer is BOTH!" Or "all is well", which she said at least ten times each day, even on days when it really did not appear to be. Now that she is no longer physically with us, I figured I would explain the meaning behind her most popular sayings to keep her spirit and her memory alive in all those that learned her story. This is Mommy Philosophies: Lessons I Learned from my Mom During Caregiving. As the middle child and only girl in her family, Vivian Geary has been a long-time observer of humans. She watched and learned her place in her family and her community becoming astute at seeing the needs of others, empathizing, and moving to help fill those needs. She created Caring for Family Caregivers as a resource to others providing caregiver coaching and support groups for family caregivers. As a speaker and trainer, she conducts seminars and classes on a variety of topics pertinent to all aspects of the caregiving journey.

This book is about a small child questioning her Lord. She is curious how someone can love her so much that even when she makes mistakes, God's love never changes. It is unconditional. My name is Cindy Boatwright. I am from Georgia; My husband Gary Boatwright and I have four terrific children: whose ages range from 7 to 24. Youngest to oldest are Izabella, Jayden, Nicholas, and Chelsea, who has made me a Nana to; Aleah Gracelynn and August Dekario. My heart belongs to my Savior, Jesus Christ. "KINGDOM VISION" is all about how you see the very things you face, how you envision the obstacles of life from the decisions you make and the direction you go in, to the perspective you have and whether or not you can receive at the level you should then also how you view the places where others are...their standpoints and where they're coming from. This book was written to push you beyond the walls that religion has built and open you up to the real, rich relationship Jesus Christ longs to have with you that takes you to an even higher level! "All I can say, is buckle up! Pastor Daniel Parker is not only a Kingdom Man but he has developed a Keen Vision for the times and the season in which we live. The reality that we need to be a part of a greater kingdom and the urgency for a clear vision is the understatement of the year. This is why I love what Pastor Parker releases in this book. This is what the Kingdom of Heaven should look like and this is what you will see clearly in the upcoming chapters. Somebody say, Speak Lord! I'm listening..." -Chance Walters (Evangelist & Author/Chance Walters Ministries-Greensboro, NC) "In a chaotic world of polarizing differences, the only thing that can really bring us together is an understanding of the Kingdom. Pastor Daniel Parker in his new book "Kingdom Vision" reveals kingdom keys that will push us beyond the walls that religion has built and open us up to experience all that God has for us. I'd recommend this incredible resource to anyone who wants to see God's Kingdom established in this world and in their own world!" -Israel Campbell (Pastor & Author/Flourishing Church -Los Angeles CA) "Kingdom Vision" is a powerful book written from a kingdom point of view. Daniel Parker is an excellent writer and breaks down the topic very nicely so that everyone can gain the wisdom and insight that is needed to understand and apply kingdom principles to their lives. If we follow these principles that Daniel Parker highlights, I believe that it will set many people free. Much of the church is in bondage when we should be living as heirs of the kingdom. We may be on the earth, but we are not of this world. God never intended for His church to walk in poverty, defeat, or confusion. He wants us to walk in the blessings of the kingdom. Make sure you pray before reading this book, because the revelation in it will change your life." -Michael Bacon (Pastor & Author/Glory Tabernacle International Ministries -Youngsville, NC) Daniel Parker is a Pastor, Singer & Songwriter and has been Lead Pastor at Christian Fellowship Church in Elm City, NC for 13 years. His Kingdom Teachings can be viewed online each week through Facebook & YouTube under CFC Sandy Cross and on their website cfcsandycross.com as well as on Instagram & their Share Faith App under cfcallabouthim.

"Poems From Him" is a collection of poems the Lord gave me many years ago over a period of several years. They have been a blessing to me and I felt it was time to share them with others. They tell of a Father's great love, a Savior's great sacrifice, and His soon coming return for His children. I hope they inspire love for, and faith in, our amazing Creator. My name is Rick Rice. I live in Lakeland, Florida and I am retired. My wife of 45 years, Peggy, went to be with Jesus in April of 2020. I enjoy spending time with my five great grandchildren and being involved in their lives. The poems in this book tell of God's great love for us and His beautiful plan of salvation. They tell of His willingness to meet our needs and take care of us. I hope each reader is inspired, and encouraged, to know Him better and to trust Him completely.

Life is not a bland grouping of just black and white, but is a collage of many colors, each contributing to the vast array of the portrait that makes up our lives. In these pages I have drawn from many firsthand experiences in order to paint a visual picture that illustrates a lesson for our daily consideration to encourage and instruct us in our daily walk. I hope you find these pages helpful. Born to an unwed preacher's daughter in the early 1950s, you would think that the odds of having a successful life would have been stacked against me, but just the opposite would be true. The foundation of my grandparents' home and a loving church community would eventually lead me to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that relationship knew no boundaries. I have lived and am living a blessed life.

A compelling German historical biography of faith, framed by religious, political and military conflict, set in the twin cataclysmic backdrop of both world wars, as seen from a Polish perspective. The narrative is enriched with a wide array of heroic personal stories, such as the Junker matriarch Ruth von Kleist and her children, in defiance of multiple manifestations of tyranny. The central figure, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, of whom Ruth came to regard like a son, becomes disenchanted with the State Church's appeasement of the National Socialist agenda, and transitions into a double life as pastor and spy. As the tension builds to the tragic climax, one can draw disturbing parallels with the modern-day subversion of all faiths and human rights abuses in Xi Jinping's China, with tacit approval it seems, from the Vatican. Moreover, eerie parallels from the death throes of Weimar Germany for America in 2020-21.

This book is a part of my passion to continue teaching children in the city of New Orleans. It is an opportunity to show children all over the world some of the historic landmarks we call home. I hope you will enjoy the illustrations that my son labored over for months. The book is one of our biggest accomplishments. Karen H. Blanchard was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. She attended the New Orleans Public School System and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Dillard University. Upon graduation, she began teaching in the New Orleans Public School System. Karen developed a love for writing in the third grade when she won her first poetry contest. She returned to school and received her Master's Degree from Xavier University of New Orleans. Like so many residents of the city, she and her family were relocated by Hurricane Katrina. Though she resides and teaches in Fort Worth, Texas, her heart and soul belong to the magical city where she grew up. It is her love for the city that inspired this book. It is dedicated to my grandbabies Jade, Naiyah, and Nasir Blanchard who are Texans and who will never know my New Orleans. It's for the generation of babies whose parents for whatever reason didn't return to our fair city. Last but not least for those, "who know what it means to miss New Orleans." Laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll). Brandon was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. His mother realized at the tender age of four he had a talent for visual art. Brandon studied under world renowned Richard Thomas. He was a member of Mr. Thomas Pieces of a Dream Artists.
