If all the hell I have been through were to awaken me to who I am and ought to be, then God, I thank you for the process. Without it I would have never known my true self and the greatness that exists in me. It was painful but necessary. I religiously wore the cloak of the church society seeking their approval as if they were the architect of my destiny. Thus, burdening myself with unnecessary weight along with my own lies which I lived through the lens of lost self-worth and mental degradation. Do I cherish the hurt and take my revenge? Or do I forgive, so I can heal and be restored? How do I escape; psychological entrapment; marital imprisonment and religious barriers? Who knows!

No matter what you go through in life, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If you keep your eyes focused on God, you can get through anything in this world. The Bible tells us, we will go through trials and tribulations in this life. That we do not get a pass just because we are Christians, or Catholics. But the Bible does tell us that God will be with us through those storms in our lives, to carry us through to the other side. Cindy and her children went through so much, but are doing so well today. All three of them are doing well financially and keep God close to them. They know that is what has, and what will keep them going until God calls them home. What inspired me was in second grade when we are learning fossils, we were doing a partner work and I was paired up and then I realized it was messy project and the box had come with tools and after we finished, I was amazed about the fossil but of course it wasn't real, but it was fun and messy. A strawberry has many seeds on the outside of its surface. These seeds are attached to the strawberry, and when planted, they begin to grow. The same phenomena occurs within our hearts. Throughout life, seeds of emotion, trauma, and experience are planted in our hearts, and we began to sow these seeds. If we've been rejected, a seed of rejection is planted in our hearts, we began to sow seeds of rejection, and on and on. The Strawberry Seeds by Ciera Fulcher was inspired by the seed of love that God planted within her. My finances were so out of control, I was living paycheck-to-money-running-low before the next paycheck! I realize abruptly resigning from my job the day after being diagnosed with breast cancer didn't help matters. But that diagnosis let me know the stress of that job was literally killing me! Later, going deeper into a financial valley, I felt I had no choice but to file bankruptcy. So here I was...I'd hit financial "rock bottom!" But God...In January 2019, I chose to meditate on the two scriptures above. I activated my faith and took God at His Word. And it WORKED!! Consistently returning God's Word back to Him caused my financial situation to make a "miraculous" 180-degree turn. I BELIEVED and I SPOKE! And God honored His Word. Scripture Romans 2:11 tells us, "For there is no respect of persons with God." God has no "favorites." If YOU believe and speak...He can do the same for you! Tammy McBride was born in Buena Vista, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Tri-County High School in Marion County in 1982. One month thereafter, she departed to serve in the United States Air Force and did so honorably for 23 years, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant in 2005. Her career background in Supply Logistics led her to jobs in the civilian sector operating in that same skill set. Since 2011, she has faithfully served in the New Members Ministry at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, Georgia. She takes great joy in being a vessel for Christ encouraging people of God to commit their lives in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ. His work has been displayed at Mr. Thomas art studio as well Xavier University of New Orleans. Brandon went on to study at NOCCA (New Orleans School of Contempary Fine Arts). Brandon won third place in the 911 Regional Contest. He received an associates degree in fine arts and is currently working on an advanced degree. Though he resides in Texas, since Hurricane Katrina; his love and compassion for the city he calls home is evident in the illustrations of this book.
