Among the topical areas included are Nature, Places, Innovative Ideas, Love, War, and Mortality Encounters. Why the volume? The answer is both simple and complex. The simple answer is an impluse to share insights and experiences gleaned from a life well-lived - the inherent teacher and mentor in all of us. Behind the mask is something that many of face in life if we are honest with our selves. A mask can be social emotional cultural and Traumatic and Relational. In my cultural it is said You better act like you got some sense or whatever happens in this house stays in this house. When things go wrong and life happen, you are told to get yourself together and but pretend it didn't happen or just get over it. When its traumatic we hide and exhibit other signs trying to hold it together when life happens. It's not just you or about you but it is facing yourself and being honest I am in pain, and I want, and desire change in my life, but I can't do it on my own. We must learn how to deal with situations when life happen to us and around us from our pass and our now. I feel if we don't deal with our issues in life it will come up again later or we leave things for our children to deal with because we tried to hide it or kept secrets.

June A. Reynolds was born and lived most of her life in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. She married a Desert Rat from Tucson, so for the past ten years she has spent time in Arizona. She finds the contrast of the desert to the rainy forest very interesting and yet, there are many things that both parts of the west have in common.Once again, June A. Reynolds is offering a look at the desert southwest. This time the book focuses on the people and what they do in the desert in the past, present, and the future. The days of the Wild West may be over and gone, but the culture of the west can be found if you look hard enough for it. This book can make a good arm chair adventure, or can be taken with you as part of your travels in the desert lands.

In 1966, Percy Sledge released a sultry soulful recorded version of, "When A Man Loves A Woman." This song quickly became a musical anthem among men who fell prey to the grips of true love, or the fleeting lust of a dangerous (to their soul) woman. The full lyrics penned in this song attempt to explain the love a man may have for his woman, whether she's considered by others to be good, wayward, or downright strange-fire ratchet! Some men excuse, or defend their honor, even in light of their deceptive behavior. In the case of Samson, many have sadly expressed the travesty it was for him to have been a great anointed Nazirite warrior and ruler over God's people, who seemingly wasted his young life and strength by giving into his unrestrained passions. Unchecked, those feelings led him to live carelessly. Samson's disobedience, zeal for violence, action, and his apparent thirst for sexual immorality, caused him to be distracted. Drawn away, deceived, and then snuffed out upon the delicate lap of Delilah, the object of his desire, seemingly the "FAMOUS" (Samson) was subdued by the "INFAMOUS" (Delilah), his cockiness was no match for her coy, coquettish ways. However, behind the scene, God's orchestration was at work. And for this cause, we will take a deeper look at this great man of God's plight through this storyteller's lenses. There, we will discover (in part) why we should celebrate Samson for living his life with EXACT purpose, unto God.Also, written here are short modern-day stories of men and women caught in predicaments and entanglements. Challenging the very nature of their souls and spirits, many come to know God the Father, through His Dear Son, Jesus Christ, the "Great Deliverer!"

Both The wounded Gospel minister and the wounded soldier; though from different forces work and do similar jobs albeit for different masters. Both follow similar principles in the mode of work. Both of them have their different command hierarchy `where they get orders as they do their job. Both have enemies even though they fight different wars. Indeed they both have and use weapons to fight. Like all casualties, the wounded are helped by comrades on the same battlefront who, if possible take them to hospital or sick bay and try their best to ensure they survive the wounds inflicted by the enemy. Both the evangelist and soldier follow the similar cardinal principles: They have to obey as orders from their high command: the basic is to cover and protect one's colleague and to be in the spirit of unity and oneness for them to coordinate their activities very well. Incidentally, when it comes to the wounded gospel minister, his friends, or fellow ministers forget the code of unity and don't cover their fellow minister, instead of the excellent fight aimed at helping their fellow minister to recover from wounds, they cover him with negative publicity and if he doesn't die quickly, they want to bury him alive. Everybody turns against them. With all their wounds they eventually succumb to moral and spiritual death.

The year is 1618, and the Christian world stands, once again, on a knife's edge. And a war unlike anything Europe has ever seen is growing increasingly inevitable.Destined to be caught up in the coming conflict are two very beautiful but very different women. Lasy Atlantis Vanessa von Stormsong is the only child of a wealthy Catholic Archduke, while poor ¿arlatová is a Protestant thief who knows practically nothing of her past. These two strangers share a strong faith in the same God, but their respective attempts to find peace in a world dominated by violent and powerful men will lead them straight into the abyss of a war that will tear Europe apart for the next thirty years.

The events in this book illustrate God's grace. They will demonstrate his unlimited and amazing power; he is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. For many years I have wished that I could wrap God's gifts in lovely packages and give them away so that others could know the peace, love, and joy that come from a relationship with Jesus Christ.Imagine opening a package and having peace. What if you could open another and have forgiveness of sin and eternal life. Oh, if only I could give away such gifts! I can't but God can! God gives us so many wonderful gifts - too many to count. If you want to grow in your knowledge of God and desire a closer walk with him, this book is for you. It is only when we enter into a personal, intimate relationship with our heavenly Father that our lives can be truly changed and we can be a real blessing to him and to others.

Some of God's Miracles provides a list of the miracles in the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible with some commentary. These miracles are incredible happenings and events that were outside human experience and includes healing, acts contrary to the natural order, and supernatural events. The miracles in the Old Testament point to the work of God in the world and illustrate His Divine power. In the New Testament, the miracles - many of which were performed by Jesus - point to the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. Some of God's Miracles is meant to show that God alone can perform miracles and that Jesus is the Son of God, He who alone can heal by His word.

A story within a story begins years ago when my two grand sons were six and 8 years old. One day driving down a country road I saw something in the road. I pulled over to the park. I pulled over to the park. I knew what I had to do, even though the boys were upset, and not understand. I saw a snake and found a long branch to scoop up the snake and get it softly. One year ago I was on the same road remembering the day and I pulled over, parked and through the memories out came....I know I can write a book, make a snake that talks, and go from there. A few added unexpected ideas came to life that I hoped to be of interest, of value to the readers such as "Millers" thoughts about God and taking good advice from his friends back home. I hope you enjoy the "all" of it as as I, the author have received self-gratitude and pleasure on going.

I am one of them and I wanted to know how others like me feel about being like us. Curiosity birthed this book. I know we are out here, but who really acknowledges us? Who is the "we" that I am talking about, you may ask? Women, who are at least 40 years old, have never been married before, with no children. We are often unspoken of in society and in a lot of cases unheard. My goal in this book is to allow women to express their thoughts & feelings by way of a targeted questionnaire. Also, to provide a unique perspective. The ups, downs, and in-between are discussed in this book. Buckle up for this informative ride! This book is for women in this category and out of this category, unmarried and married, with children or without. Yes, this book is about this remarkable group of women, but it is for anyone who has an open mind. Also, this book is for those who may have been curious of this group of remarkable women. This book is discussing a topic that is rarely talked about. Also, bringing this topic in the form of a question-and-answer book, provides a peek into the thoughts of these women, thus opening a new or unique perspective. I am a part of this group of women, so I can really understand and relate to what these women are talking about. Thirty-seven questions were presented to the women to answer. My passion for authoring this book comes from wanting to help the women in this book see themselves as winners, not losers, victors--not victims. If I can help make a woman who may be depressed and angry about being older, never married, with no children, feel better about life and change their own view of their lives, then this book will serve a glorious purpose.

Inside you will find 3 books written without knowing how it all would end.Book #1 The Death of The PromiseBook #2 The Resurrection of The PromiseBook #3 The Land of The PromiseI did not realize until I was prompted to write Book #3 that I had been working on a trilogy. The common theme seemed to come together as I was becoming a witness to The Faith of the First-Century Church. Jesus gives us a clear example of this faith in the Parable of The Ten Virgins. The five wise virgins lived in anticipation and preperation of the soon coming Bridgroom. The five foolish virgins did not and were locked out. Paul gives us an apostle's view of this faith in 2Timothy 4:7&8 as he writes, "... I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will award to me on that day (Day) - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." In Ephesians 4, Paul instructs teachers and preachers to make every effort to bring about unity of The Faith in The Body of Christ. The writer of Hebrews gives us this definition, "Faith is being sure of what is hoped for and certain of what we do not (yet) see.", 11:1. This is The Faith in The Second Coming and the awarding of eternal life. This fulfills The Promise of resurrection God made to Abraham. It is an error to believe that salvation is awarded to anyone prior to this event. It is a promise until Jesus comes back and can never to be possessed this side of the grave. "I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable." 1Corinthians 15:50.
