National Fidelity is at heart a book about a love story. Additionally this counter-extremist book is evidence that there is more to life than politics, more to justice than popular opinions, more to culture than stereotypes, and more to Western history than names, dates, and blame.Originally conceived as a survival book for his own difficult early life, then later formed into a gift for his own children (and the co-author's grandchildren), principal author Douglas Matthew O'Banion necessarily leaves some private loose ends, but few public loose ends in this diverse book that begins with historical events that open discussions about modern society, dystopias, and some often-overlooked basic understandings concerning Western jurisprudence.Written in common language with care toward young adult readers and foreigners whom may not be familiar with the West, National Fidelity examines crucial topics with the aid of ancient oral history and modern Western interests. While doing so, this British book rests in the middle of the timeless battle between superstition and rationalism: the rugged intellectual soil from which the romantic roots of classical liberalism sprang.National Fidelity offers new insights into traditional topics and current issues, yet the book never strays far from the ever-present British insight that allows us to know that when we Britons cannot out argue our foes, we will outlast them.

This book from Danny Iny and the team at Mirasee is your definitive guide to thriving with online courses in the age of AI.
This book project began in the fall of 1974. At that time, Jim Mahoney's 7th-grade class began asking some local history questions for which he had no answers. He promised to look into the matter. After researching several libraries, he found no works done exclusively about Lawrence Township. Mahoney and his class decided to do their own research on the subject. The class collected information already written about Lawrence Township, and began to accumulate important knowledge of the township. At this point, it would have been easy to quit. But the class' enthusiasm prompted Mahoney to continue working. They expanded to local sources of information: township records, letters, old newspapers, diaries, and church records, beginning to build a good framework from which to write a book. Then came the most exciting part of the project. In the summer of 1975, the students, now eighth-graders, began interviewing residents of the community. Questions and answers were recorded on tape, transcribed, and then organized. The class did an outstanding job. Wherever possible, students were involved in making this product. It was their effort, enthusiasm, and hard work that brought this book about. This reprint is a faithful reproduction of the original book, created by the Lawrence Elementary School eighth-grade class, first printed in 1976.
