Seit dem Bau der Berliner Mauer im Sommer 1961 suchten DDR-Bürger nach alternativen, möglichst gefahrlosen Fluchtwegen in die Bundesrepublik. Dabei entwickelte sich der Fluchtweg über die damalige Volksrepublik Bulgarien mit ihren Grenzen zur Türkei, Griechenland und Jugoslawien bereits nach kurzer Zeit zu einer Hauptfluchtroute. Die überwiegend jungen Leute glaubten, über das rückständige Bulgarien ¿ganz einfach" in den Westen zu gelangen. Stefan Appelius hat seit fünfzehn Jahren über den Fluchtweg Bulgarien gearbeitet, und das Thema in der Bundesrepublik erstmals einer großen Öffentlichkeit bekanntgemacht. Er wertete mehrere tausend Archivquellen aus und führte seit zwölf Jahren mehrere hundert Interviews mit Flüchtlingen, Angehörigen von Todesopfern, mit Grenzern, DDR-Diplomaten und Staatssicherheitsleuten. Hier legt er die wichtigsten Ergebnisse seiner Arbeit vor.

Hans Erich Nossacks Nachkriegsprosa verhandelt die Frage, welche Form des Sprechens angesichts einer unmenschlichen (Kriegs-)Realität gerechtfertigt ist. Im Fokus der Analysen stehen daher der Zusammenhang von Autorschaft und Schuld und die autofiktionale Auseinandersetzung mit den Themen Tod, Entfremdung und Liebe nach 1945. Nossacks Konstruktion von Subjektivität wird im biographischen und historischen Kontext betrachtet und auf theoretischer Ebene zwischen existenzphilosophischer Selbstsuche und postmoderner Subjektkritik verortet. Dieser Ansatz bietet neue Zugänge für Nachkriegsautoren/innen wie Alfred Andersch, Peter Weiss und Ingeborg Bachmann an. Die Autorin zeigt, dass sich in Nossacks Literatur zentrale moderne Subjektdiskurse um Freiheit, Schuld und Erinnerung kreuzen.

Partendo dai temi cari e mai completamente risolti della traduttologia, che si potrebbero esemplificare nell¿affermazione per cui la pratica traduttiva è da sempre alla ricerca di una teoria che la spieghi, la modelli e le dia un fondamento scientifico, questo lavoro ha l¿ambizione di fornire, adottando l¿approccio semiotico della scuola di Parigi, una nuova sistematizzazione della traduzione in quanto concetto, pratica e testo. Le relazioni identitarie e veridittive, articolate nel quadrato semiotico, determinano le condizioni ontologiche della traduzione; la schematizzazione narrativa modellizza la pratica traduttiva ed esplicita le competenze del traduttore, gli aspetti manipolativi e le condizioni aletiche ed etiche insiti nella traduzione. L¿analisi si sposta poi su terreni più empirici e la proposta teorica si misura con il testo tradotto; su quest'ultimo si identificano i rapporti identità-alterità, la dimensione assiologica e la prensione timica del traduttore. La prospettiva generativa permette di situarsi in una dimensione epistemica e metodologica più ampia, che al contempo impone una riflessione sulle condizioni di felicità specifiche della traduttologia.

Wie bereits in der ersten Arbeitstagung in Eisenstadt 2011 ausgeführt, weist die Mittlere Deutsche Literatur zwischen 1400 und 1750 einen beträchtlichen Bestand an deutschsprachiger Rezeptionsliteratur auf, deren statistisches Verhältnis zur originalen deutschen Literatur in Frühneuhochdeutsch und Neulatein noch nicht ausreichend ermittelt ist. Sichtung, Aufarbeitung und bildungsgeschichtliche Wertung dieser Literatur gehören wohl zu den interessantesten und historisch aussagekräftigsten Aufgaben, welchen sich die Beiträge dieses Bandes exemplarisch widmen. Die Schwerpunkte liegen dabei auf der Rezeption antiker Kultur (Wiederentdeckung der Palliata, Überlieferung von Mythologie, Verarbeitung von Vergil), auf der Filiation mittelalterlicher Motive und auf der Verbreitung von italienischer Renaissanceliteratur im deutschen Sprachraum. Neben herausragenden Beispielen der literarischen Rezeption europäischer Literaturdenkmäler und neulateinischer Texte werden ästhetische Probleme von Rezeptionsliteratur im Allgemeinen und die theoretische Basis des Petrarkismus im Besonderen dargelegt.
