A Heroic Doctor with a Killer's Past... World-renowned cardiovascular surgeon Kent Stirling is a man to be envied. He lives in Paradise, dividing his time between exotic Belize and the luxurious beaches of the Yucatan. He volunteers his service and expertise on the board of directors of the regional hospital, and he is in charge of a thriving medical practice that allows him to save lives. He's handsome and charming, and is deeply in love with the woman of his dreams. Kent Stirling has everything a man could want...but he also has something extra: a secret past. In his youth, Stirling lived the adrenaline-fueled life of a covert assassin. He thinks he's left his past behind, but the organization that directed him, The Sandbox, is on a deadly mission to track down and exterminate all of their rogue agents. Stirling is in the crosshairs, and in order to protect himself and those he loves, he'll have to resurrect an array of lethal skills he prayed he'd never need again. From the private laboratory of a covert ops genius to the sun-drenched sands of the Yucatan, from the terror of high-stakes pursuit to the life-or-death tension of a surgeon's moment of truth, from the depths of evil to the redemptive heights of true love, The Man from Belize is a compelling thrill ride that will leave you wanting more.

Many pastors, denominational leaders, and church members all across the religious landscape would agree that they wish their church could be transitioned from a holy hell to hallelujah again! Congregational conflict is not only real, it is often devastating. Schools of religion do a great job at preparing pastors to be preachers and administrators, but fall short in effectively preparing them to do essential conflict ministry. This scholarly work is designed to provide church leaders, pastors, ministerial students, undergrad religion and seminary professors, and church members with a tool that has been proven to help churches recover from the consuming flames of congregational conflict.

God's Warrior Angels is a story of spiritual warfare. It tells of warrior angels being sent to protect us, while the forces of evil attempt to hurt and destroy us. Life; as we know it can be difficult. That being said...... meet Ron, a troubled maturing young man whom has suffered family loss. Discovering meaning, in what seems to be a meaningless life is a struggle. Things seem to change when he meets Brian and they become the best of friends. They both have several things in common, one of them being their love for the game of football. Ron's skills land him a tryout with a semi-professional team in California. They decide to relocate to California. Little did they know, the forces of evil had plans of their own for them. These evil forces have been dispatched to destroy Ron by gaining control over him and taking his soul. The angels of God have also been dispatched to watch over and protect him, his friends and family. Nigel and Ithimar are two of the angels sent to protect Ron and Brian. With their past experiences of victory in battles, they fully intend to do just that; even though Ron is an unbeliever. Being an unbeliever makes this a very difficult assignment, indeed. On the other hand, with the prayers of friends and family, there is hope. Meet Nicolia and Virginia. Virginia is outgoing, the life of the party and a very popular senior in high school. Nicolia is athletic, quiet, demure and definitely not as well-known as Virginia. Their lives and their families lives become intertwined with Ron and Brian upon their arrival in California. Sparks fly between Ron and Virginia. The mix of Virginia, not being a committed believer and Ron being a non-believer; add in evil forces manipulating things, inevitably the battle begins in earnest.

This story chronicles the journey of an 18 year-old young woman who entered an Order of teaching nuns in 1952, believing herself to have a religious vocation. After three years of novitiate training she pronounced vows and was assigned to teach in the elementary grades of parochial schools in New Jersey, Baltimore, Fall River and New York. During the last two years of her life as a nun, she matriculated in a program of religious studies at Fordham University. There she enjoyed exposure to many European theologians who proffered enlightened views on religion, and, she ultimately called into question, some of the tenets of the Catholic Church. Ultimately she rejected her faith and sought dispensation from her vows.

When pure vanilla extract and psoriatic arthritis mix with a mother's love in a hoarded house, can an invisible attention deficit disorder cause a good woman to lose track of time? Security officer Ruffles is hiding in the garage. He was writing a fairy tale when the story started releasing love hormones and turned his life into a comedy of errors ... In families with too many handicaps, it can be a struggle to find the kitchen. That's why there's a house in Fremont where one boy packs blueberry pancakes in his pockets in case John or Jayne Wayne forget to make dinner ... Humor and satire can depend on bad news and this quirky tragicomedy looks into it. There's an underwear mystery at the heart of the matter and some random impulse buying did also occur while we surveyed our limited faculties. But by and by, after it was over, we never would forget it.

I CHOOSE TO BE A SURVIVOR NOT A VICTIM. After surviving a massive stroke I found that my faith and sense of humor kept my spirit flying high, and I found every day I could choose to be happy or crabby. I chose happy, and even when I didn't feel like it I still put on a happy face, because after all, nobody wants to be around a Debbie Downer. My entire left side was affected by the stroke, so I decided I would try to make the most of it and started making fun of myself. Then my husband became very sick with pancreatic cancer and he decided his last journey did not have to be miserable, but a peaceful, meaningful journey. Of course, there is no humor in cancer, but there can be peace, and I kept my husband in our bed and away from a hospital bed. It was my turn to wait on him the best I could, with my limitations. I wrote this little book to try and encourage others to try and find humor in the midst of adversity.

Set in the 1970s at a small college in Pennsylvania, April Cruel proves T. S. Eliot right: "April is the cruelest month." When the rigid and rather unpleasant Professor, Erica Berne, discovers that her fiancé has been murdered, she not only is grief-stricken, but she also becomes the victim of several murder attempts that misfire and kill or harm others. Two young professors in the English Department, Jim Strand and David Stein, attempt to uncover the perpetrator of the crimes, along with one of David's students, Jill Lake, with whom he has fallen in love and Susie Marsh, a departmental secretary for whom Jim has a growing affection. Detective Norman Halloway is also seeking the killer, and since so many have grudges against Erica Berne, there are motives aplenty. Are the murders connected in any way with the death of Professor Berne's former fiancé? Has she so offended other students and teachers that they have decided to eliminate her? What kind of hold does she have over the chairman of the department, Wilfred Black? Will hysterical parents force the closing of Huston college so near the end of the semester? And why does Jill Lake feel that she is herself in terrible danger?
