Every believer knows about the fruits of the Holy Spirit, which believers strive to embrace and embody. But are you on the lookout for the tempting fruits of the devil? When the devil crept into the Garden of Eden and offered the forbidden fruit to Eve, she ate it, and offered it to Adam, who ate of the forbidden fruit too. They disobeyed God, and were cast out of the garden. They lost the dominion that God wanted them to have over everything. Jesus Christ came to the world to shed His blood, to pay the price for that mistake. But ever since then, the sons of Adam and daughters of Eve have been taking the devil's fruits from his deceitful hand. Any time you eat these poisoned fruits, you turn away from God. This book is an essential tool in your walk with God-it will educate you about the three deadly fruits of the devil, and with scriptural examples, it will show you the price others have paid for eating these fruits, and also how the Bible teaches us to resist and overcome the devil's temptation. Don't spend another day in sin-learn to say no to the devil, who is the father of lies, and draw closer to your Father in heaven.

While this new material revolutionizes thousands of products in everyday use, it also results in a new and deadly illness. Thirty-six year old Michael Macalister, the doctor heading up the government project to find a cure for the disease, comes to realize the impossibility of the task. His projections show that eighty percent of the world's population will die from it. Hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned, Macalister must find a way to ensure the survival of the colony. What's being said about SEER - "This exciting, dystopian view of the near future combines the suspense of Outbreak with the intrigue of Blade Runner. Mr. Austin has come up with a completely unique vision and lays out the story in an amazing fashion. A must read!" Ken Berris, author, Wild Cards "As a youngster I read George Orwell's 1984 with fascination, but disbelief. Many years later I live in a vastly different world and Seer has recaptured my imagination with its realistic view of the not-so-distant future. This could be a survival guide. I can't wait for the next book in the series." Jerry Cordasco, Security Consultant "When we read speculative fiction about the survival of humankind we see where the hard choices necessary for survival can make us question our humanity. Seer will have you asking those questions." John Foley, author, Guitar Music For the Mid-Life Crisis Larry Austin lives and works on Cape Cod, MA, is passiona

As President, Barack Obama has conducted U.S. foreign policy by exclusively adopting the dictates and direction of the United Nations worldview of Multi-National global governance - however, to the detriment of optimally advancing and protecting the best National Security interests of the American People. Specifically, there exists a stark divergence between the competing geo-political philosophies of 1) the United States as the dominant player in world affairs and "an indispensable force for good" (i.e. American Exceptionalism) which President Barack Obama rejects, in favor of 2) Obama's demonstrated preference for the U.N. Multi-National (co-equal nations) worldview of global governance (i.e. The Obama Doctrine of "Leading from Behind"). By consciously shunning the decades-old dominance of the United States as the world's leading nation in geo-political influence, President Obama's actions have served to diminish ("taken down") the stature of the future role of the United States in world affairs. Indeed, in promoting a diminished role for America in world affairs, Barack Obama is consciously serving the cause of, conversely, 1) raising the prominence of the United Nations as the true heir to, what the world body believes, is its rightful and exclusive priority role in dominating global governance in the 21st Century while correspondingly, 2) raising the stature and influence of its next U.N. Secretary-General in particular. Second, in his conduct of U.S. foreign policy - by mirroring the agenda of the U.N. Multi-National model of global governance - Barack Obama has optimally laid the groundwork as a prelude in his desire to become the next U.N. Secretary-General after leaving the White House in 2017. However, President Obama cannot escape that, from the outset, he had a moral obligation to have disclosed to the American People 1) his intent to conduct U.S. foreign policy exclusively through the prism and dictates of United Nations dogma and 2) any ancillary ambition he may have to become the next U.N. Secretary-General - precisely because the voting electorate had the right to know. The American electorate could then have decided if the decision-making process of Barack Obama, as President of the United States, had also conflicted with or been primarily driven by any quest by Barack Obama to, one day, become the next Secretary-General of the United Nations. In his signature style, Gary R. Patterson meticulously and compellingly scrutinizes Barack Obama's major foreign policy decisions and events that have occurred during his Presidency specifically to the words, speeches and U.N. policy statements of both the current and former Secretaries-General of the United Nations over the past to two decades, Ban Ki-moon and Kofi Annan. Patterson's analysis convincingly suggests a concerted effort by President Obama, in his conduct of U.S. foreign policy, to both emulate and implement the dictates and global governance policies of the United Nations. Although, many times those decisions appear to be contradictory and at cross-purposes with Barack Obama's principal responsibility to - as President of the United States - serve the best National Security interests of the American People. The Multi-National Takedown of America - As A Prelude to Barack Obama's Desire to Become the Next Secretary-General of the United Nations is Gary R. Patterson's fifth book in the last seven years - all of which critique the Presidency of Barack Obama.
EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! Get ready to experience the excitement of a perfect high school football season in 1960 in a small town. In the city of Homestead, a former sports editor is asked to come out of retirement to once again write for the Heritage News about the best sports team in the history of their town. He chooses to write a series of six articles about the 1960 varsity football season of the Homestead High School Mavericks. Based on the title, One Great Season, 9-0!, it is obvious the team from the town''s only high school had an undefeated season and won the championship. It was a once in a lifetime experience in a small town when everything aligned for perfection. That time of 1960 was another era. The love that town has for its children is shown by how some of the children, the high school football players, develop and how the town is united through the year by the team''s example. Many things in society were different then. The story reflects some of those differences. Because of the title some may think the novel is just a football story. Each game is described in detail, but the story is about more than X''s and O''s. It is the story of a small town expressed through the words of a dedicated sports writer. The concept is conveyed in an age before the internet: even though you went to the game the night before, you still wanted to read about it in the newspaper the next day. You wanted to see the statistics in print, and check on "who did what". The format and storyline of this novel is a departure from the previous novels by the author. In the past he mainly wrote episodic tales of individuals and groups in everyday life in letters or short stories. He often used poetry to augment the story lines. This novel is set up like a scrapbook of newspaper articles from a small town newspaper. That is appropriate, since the novel is dedicated to Bob Silva, who for many years was the Sports Editor of the Benicia Herald in Benicia, California. In this work o
"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars" ~Kahlil Gibran. On the heels of a childhood peppered with sordid betrayal and upheaval, a young woman teeters on the edge of oblivion. She is carried away by the tumult into an adulthood of broken marriages, drug addiction, and years mired in the struggle with the foster care system-both in it and fighting to retrieve her children from it. Assault of the Innocent tells her story from those rocky beginnings to the ultimate success of emerging whole from the morass.

This beautifully illustrated booklet narrates a tour that begins in Ukraine and continues along the river system between Moscow and St. Petersburg. The author recounts a rich variety of cultural experiences in Kiev, Moscow, and St. Petersburg, as well as an idyllic cruise through northern Russian waterways. A thousand years of Russian history unfolds during the journey. The exquisite city of Kiev, originally a Norse settlement, exhibits cultural influences from the Baltic, Byzantium, and the Russian steppes. Its proud people are rebuilding a country wracked by twentieth-century disasters. Highlights of Moscow include an amazing Kremlin with Armory and churches, opulent Cathedrals reconstructed after the collapse of Communism, a vibrant art scene along the Arbat, and the famous Novodevichy Cemetery, burial site of Russian notables. A serene cruise along northern Russian waterways is dotted with stops at quaint historic villages. St. Petersburg, Russia's jewel on the Baltic, is at its most glittering with recently renovated palaces that once belonged to Russian tsars and nobility. The amazing grounds of Peter's Palace spout fountains along walkways to the Baltic shore. The Hermitage, a world-class museum of art and culture, occupies one of Catherine the Great's amazing palaces. This trip, two decades after a backpack and train odyssey from Irkutsk, Siberia, to Moscow and St. Petersburg, fulfilled the author's promise to return to Russia. A tale of that earlier adventure will be available soon.
The Meaning of Life' plays a significant role throughout the author's biography. So what then is the 'Meaning of Life' and where does one find it? Have you ever considered the 'dash' between the dates on one's tombstone? The date to the left is the date of birth while the date to the right represents his/her death. The 'dash' represents all the time in between (I heard this part on a radio commercial for a funeral home). This 'dash' then is 'the meaning of life' and whatever occurs during this 'dash' determines a person's accomplishments and how he/she will be remembered. Let's play an imaginary hand of cards (this is my part). We are all dealt a hand at birth and what we do with this hand becomes our 'dash'. There are three primary factors that determine the 'dash' - Skill (this is the result of what we experience and learn throughout the course of our life), INTUITION (we are born with this-some with more than others) and we utilize this in making many of our daily decisions, and finally LUCK (just plain luck). When we learn from our daily experiences and combine that learning with a little intuition, we will make better decisions. And luck always plays a role (the best decisions contain a lot of luck). But luck alone will not get you there. For the entire time we ran our business, there was a sign on my office wall with the caption, 'The Harder You Work, The Luckier You Get'. This book is a candid, tell-all autobiography about an extremely shy young man growing up in an extremely poor area of rural South Georgia and his maturation into a multi-millionaire. The book encompasses his fight to overcome many obstacles, primarily personality related through his travels in the United States Navy, going off to college and finally finding the love of his life who he credits with his most drastic personality changes. The author recalls many entertaining experiences, some of which he might never have made public previously.
