A Woman in the Woods is a solo role-playing game. It is a narrative based game that is primarily played through journaling. The game uses dice to create story events for the player to react to. The player then imagines and resolves how their character deals with the day's events.Set in a magical realism world, this game chronicles the daily life of one or more herb women, sometimes known as witches. These people, were outcasts of their nearby villages. Often forced to live outside of the village borders, they were treated as oddities or strange at best. All while they plied their trade in exchange for the things they needed to survive. While they provided necessary medical assistance to those who could not afford to travel into towns for apothecaries, and sometimes provided more local, and often "pagan", spiritual advice, they were also unfortunately easy scapegoats in times of strife. You are a healer. You are a source of knowledge. You are a key part of your village's life. Yet you are paradoxically ostracized from it. This is the life your character leads.

You see the house just ahead of you. It's down the street, past the places where families are all inside, safe for the night. The street lights cast an eerie glow on the abandoned house, and you can see the rotting planks, peeling paint, broken window panes, and hanging shutters. You've heard about this house, all the stories about those who left it, and that which still remains...But not every creepy story involves an old, haunted house. There are creatures that dwell in the woodlands on the edge of town, seemingly harmless objects imbued with life, and apparitions brought back to life through dark magic. All of those and more are lurking in the pages of this book. So, step inside the shadow-world of TALES OF GHOSTS AND THE SUPERNATURAL.

A clever-and at times, plainly ridiculous-poetry collection exploring personal and societal themes of mental health before and during the COVID-19 pandemic from poet Chris Stubenrauch.Often evoking the desolate imagery characteristic of the American Midwest and Great Plains, Stubenrauch taps deep into his inner humor to recall, sometimes fantastically, personal experiences and tell stories from his young adulthood. At times outlandish and other times more solemn, Stubenrauch admits to playing games in the title poem Headwinds: "Sometimes I lack restraint / and sometimes I make it up as I go / and sometimes I hold two bony fingers / flush red on the joystick."While games-ranging from in the casino to out in the backyard-are employed as an essential thematic element which is reintroduced time and time again, Stubenrauch also broadly visits other topics, recounting psychiatry sessions and even contemplating being locked in a grocery store overnight in an amusing way: "I suppose I could open a box of saltines / and pitch myself a tent using the finest floor model / I will crawl using only my wrists / like all great army heroes do / I will keep this appointment with myself."Through the use of his sprawling imagination, vivid descriptions, dramatic endings, and teasing lyricism, Stubenrauch often makes it hard to tell what experiences are real and what are made up-but it is abundantly clear that the blurry lines are purposeful, helping to underscore and chronicle the topic of mental health in an insightful way.

Is the Christian Church Babylon the Great? It is, and I will show you that from the Scriptures. Me saying that may be shocking or unbelievable if your never heard that before, but it is true. Most have never heard this before because no Christian denomination would ever tell you that, because that would be self-incriminating, and non-Christian organizations don't study the Book of the Revelation. We read about the earliest believers in Jesus as the Messiah in the Book of Acts. They were a group of people who were trained by Jesus and his Apostles/disciples, and it says that they kept YHVH's law and the Prophets and they worshiped the God of their ancestors, YHVH. Yet, today's church does neither, they consider themselves to be free of YHVH's laws that Jesus told us keep (Matthew 5:18-19) and they do not worship YHVH alone as Jesus commanded (Matthew 4:10). And that is why the Christian Church has become Babylon the Great, and it has been that for about 1700 years. Revelation 12:9, 13:3 tells us that all the world is deceived and follows after the teachings of the Beast. And Revelation 14 tells us how to exit Babylon the Great and become one of the 144,000 redeemed. That, and much more are explained in this book, with the appropriate Bible verses.

Alex Opal sprung from the depths of poetry and prose at the age of 15. Now 34, this is a collection of poetry and prose written this year featuring such topics as childhood trauma, breakups, sexual liaisons, fantasies, one flash fiction psychological horror piece, neurodivergence, and general familial trauma. This is a deep look inside the mind of a poet who has been mastering their craft in various ways for over half their life. Not much of their work has been published, other than by another name, and their full name, but they have a wide array of unpublished, as of yet, material. Feel the deep emotions sweep over you and the internalized prose of a person who is truly suffering this existence. While they struggle to get out of their position, only the brain to pen to paper seems to do the trick, and this is one of many collections of their work to come.

Does the Orthodox Church claim to be "infallible" or not? What is its moral theology on Contraception (natural and artificial)? What does the Church teach concerning the procession of the Holy Ghost? Does the Holy Ghost proceed from the Father and the Son or from the Father only? What do the Greek Orthodox Fathers of the ancient Church teach about the person of Saint Peter the Apostle? Was Peter given a place of honor or Jurisdiction over the Whole Church of Christ? These and many more subjects in this work shall be covered. Moreover, without the charism of Infallibility can anyone be secure that he is in the true Church let alone following Christ and His Commandments?Read inside to find the answers...
