In each Manvantara, there appear Seven Sages who help guide humanity. Each resides at a different geographic region across the globe, but their exact location is a closely guarded secret. There is a disputed Hindu legend that exists which claims that if anyone can discover the real names of these Rishis and where they presently reside, then the seeker will be immediately enlightened. In early September 1659, Princess Jahanara at the bequest of her brother Dara Shikoh, before he was beheaded, instructed a group of devout Sadhus then living near her palace in Agra to search for clues concerning these all-powerful Rishis. Nothing came of it. However, a fanatical clan grew out of this search that still survives to this day. They are known as "The Cult of the Seven Sages." Its current leader and founder is Jasbir Kashani, a Hindu-Muslim mystic, who after 7 months of continuous meditation has just emerged from his solitary cave in the Himalayan mountains. This is his story about the quest to find the name and location of the first of the Saptarishi.
Jeanne-Marie Bouvier de la Motte-Guyon, commonly known as Madame Guyon, was a French aristocrat and profound lover of Jesus who lived from 1648 to 1717. She was censured, arrested and imprisoned from 1695 to 1703 after publishing the book, "A Short and Easy Method of Prayer".Guyon became passionate about her growing relationship with God during a time when that very belief was considered heresy. Guyon became convinced that prayer without ceasing was the central action in devoting all of one's life to God. "Prayer is the key of perfection and of sovereign happiness; it is the efficacious means of getting rid of all vices and of acquiring all virtues; for the way to walk in perfection is to live in the presence of God. He tells us this himself: 'walk before Me and be blameless' Genesis 17:1. Prayer alone can bring you into His presence, and keep you there continually".Madame Guyon's seminal work, "A Short and Easy Method of Prayer" has touched the lives of influential Christians for centuries. This volume sheds light on the life and work of one of the greatest teachers of the deeper life in God through prayer.

The days of miraculous achievements are not past, as the accounts chronicled in this book will testify. In the early 1920's, a family of four make a missionary trip from Los Angeles, California, down the coast of Mexico, preaching in many towns along the way. They arrive in Nicaragua and preach to the natives, seeing numbers of them saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. They go into the cities and journey into mountain villages, all to bring the good news of the gospel. Without a missionary board, or other promised support whatever, the Lord provides every step of the way. This story is a testimony to the faithfulness of God, and a sample of what He can and will do for us when we simply say YES -- putting our full trust in Him. This book will kindle a flame of missionary fire in your heart, giving you a sense of the great need of the Central American republics, as it was then and as it persists today. I pray that you will have to go, pray, or give. Do you and I have some responsibility for bringing the Gospel to people so long neglected? Let us not share in the great ages-long crime of a happy, satisfied Western church neglecting those who don't have the privilege of knowing Jesus. Don't pass your time in happy dreams of spiritual blessings while the procession of your lost brothers and sisters wander into the darkness, into an eternity without Christ. Join Mattie and her family in this awe-inspiring story of obedience to Jesus across the nations. Buy this book to feel the challenge, experience the adventure and taste the reward!

The novel is a touching presentation of the story of Ruth, and how this remarkable lady made the journey from her homeland, where she was royalty in a country that was hostile to the Jewish people, to becoming a Jewish Woman of Valor who has her own book of the Bible.
