What nine or ten year old is not intrigued with stories of fun and adventure!Travelling from British Columbia, Canada, to the Caribbean Island was like travelling from one end of the world to another; and going from an urban setting to a rural village was equally traumatic. However, the boredom that Justin feared he would experience in this strange rustic village without electricity or televisions was now being replaced by a feeling of excitement. "Coconut Fun" tells entertaining short stories about Canadian city boy, Justin, and his Caribbean country cousin, Nate, while teaching facts about the coconut palm.Listen to ten year old country boy, Nate, and his unique was of speaking. "Me will teach yo' lots of coconut fun before the holidays are over." The stories are real, drawn from the author's own childhood experiences during the late 40's and 50's.

At age 85 I had published my first "Tryist" as an author, "A Cruise To Die For." I referred to it as my Mini "Novel" covering 50 pages that can be read going up the elevator, great during halftime and easily slid under the door of your neighbor when finished. My current work "Voyage to Cryon", deals with Cryonics, the preservation of humans in ice chambers with the hope of resuscitation in the future. A scheduled Anti- Aging Cruise sponsored by the Cosmetic industry changes course to indoctrinate unsuspecting candidates to prospective reincarnation and lasting life.My third book "Tunnel Vision" not yet published may be wallet size."What's it like being 80" is somewhat biographical and a comical relief in accepting yourself being "old" and left to the reader to edit his own experiences in this Octogenarian Society, with limited (By attrition) membership.I have recently combined six books, "A Cruise to Die For", "Tunnel", "Diner for Two", "Walk with the Son", " What's it Like Being 80" and "Cryon" into One volume entitled, "The Books of Rathe."I have just completed "Hate in Those Eyes" and "Octogenarian Guide to Survival." (Unedited)At age 89 I still have a lust for life or whatever is left of it, so I keep on writing until the Great Author Above Closes His book on me.

The Caged Princess is a fairy tale meant to give an illustration for the basic teachings of Christian salvation. A princess (a.k.a fallen man) needs to be rescued from an evil dragon; but, rather like most fairy tales, the princess isn't just swept off her feet to safety. Instead she is given the power, tools, and ability to overcome and defeat her enemy by the sacrifice of her prince. Basically, this is the message of the cross and resurrection of Christ. God doesn't just fight for us He strengthens our arms for battle. The princess transforms from a beaten, worn, hopeless, and helpless victim to a mighty overcomer. Sometimes we feel helpless against our own personal demons and we need a reminder that it is God who enables us to do more than we could ever hope or imagine.

There's another world that exist under hand movements. A world from non-material energy where spirits habitate. Hidden beings within humans that use telepathy and signs for communication. I Jonathan Spellman was able to communicate with them even through television after being zapped by George Walker Bush Jr. in the form of kinetic energy 5 miles away from the U.S. military naval base. It stated he was George Bush in the form of kinetic energy and wherever power excites I can be there within a street light pole, car battery, or even your body. He connected with my mental and vision abilities. I was able to see hands wave a form of communication and hear by telepathy. I made a report to the U.S. military that I've been kinetic zapped and faces appeared on a wall as something to open, but they would only acknowledge it. I decided to do a study project with freelance doctors through Kolabtree and had it logically checked by Editage scientific team. Together we developed a form of communication with spirits and opened the faces on a wall that are shaped as the five major human races. Each face characteristics give a description of their race. We will unveil the spirits from a cultural aspect throughout historical and modern-day times. Enjoy!

This slim volume represents the stories of many lives, exploring what it means to be human. Some are fictionalized real stories and some are real occurrences but with imagined emotional responses, and some really happened but motives and developments are fiction. All writers must start somewhere, and most start with their own life, then branch out into the stories other people tell them. They finally reach the point where the writer can understand how people talk, feel, respond, and remember the events of a lifetime and then they write books.

I was 42 years old when my father had passed. My Aunt Lorretta travelled from Springfield, MO to attend the funeral. After the service she had gathered the family up and took pictures. One picture had my brothers, Kenneth and Howard, and myself. Howard was eleven years older than me, the oldest of us, while Kenneth was seven years older. Within the span of a year and a half when that photo was taken, Kenneth passed away. He was 54 years old. A few months later, my granddaughter, Juanita, would be stillborn. Two years after that, Howard would pass. My sister and I would be the only ones left. Then, in 2013, she would pass away, too. I'm the last one left. With my parents and siblings gone, I have no one to share my memories with. The younger family members don't care to listen. Once I die, the memories I have go with me. That's why I've written this book: to have my past remembered. I'm not going to bother writing an entire lifetime into this book. This is just a few short stories and poems I've written. There's nothing to look forward to. This is the last chapter of my life. All my dreams that never came to fruition are fading. I have no desire to love again. This pain and memories stay firmly rooted into my mind like an emotional divorce. It took me to the edge of suicide at one point. The unexpected death of my son, Erick, in 1984 had left me empty, gasping for breath. His death still haunts me. Three months later, my mother passed on New Year's Day. There were more tears and sorrow than happiness and laugher. Instead of making more memories, I've decided to share them.
