Chosen to be the bride of the young King of France, Charles, Isabella, a princess from the German duchy of Bavaria, is welcomed to the most magnificent court of Europe. She spends idyllic years with a loving husband and doting children. But the country is ripe with intrigues and political schemes hatched by the king's ambitious uncles and brother, all of them trying to take advantage of the still simmering war between France and England for their own personal gain.A drama enfolds that will forever change Isabella's life and reputation. After a first attack of folly, Charles falls deeper and deeper into insanity. Desperate and alone, Isabella finds refuge in her brother-in-law's love. When Louis is murdered she becomes a pawn in the political intrigues that are ripping France apart and her worst instincts take over as she abandons herself to a life of greed, sex, pleasures, and selfishness. She becomes "Isabeau of Bavaria" - a foreigner in the eyes of her people - dishonoring her husband and herself when she declares her son Charles, the rightful future king of France, to be illegitimate. When she dies, a few years after her husband, and when her son at last does become Charles VII, nobody remembers the gracious princess from Germany who enchanted them all on her wedding day at the side of the young King. They think only of the corrupted woman whose name has become synonymous with depravity and blind ambition.
A very merry bundle of different variations on the popular nursery rhyme, this simple and engaging book is an excellent way to familiarize young children with the concepts of rhythm and rhyme. A sing-along-version is also available online.

Mepham High School is a highly-detailed, well-written story that occurred during the nineteen forties which takes the reader on a journey in time and culture that captures interest and attention. All incidents and much of the dialogue are accurate. Names are fictitious except for Jack Solomons, Sal D’Angelo’s best friend who edited several of his books.Though the story includes Mepham losing its one hundred first wrestling match after a hundred consecutive wins, it is about Sal D’Angelo’s high school life. Though an intelligent regent student, he has trouble with school work because of attention deficit disorder and his difficulty adjusting to teen behavior.Sal also has trouble coping with his dysfunctional parents. An outstanding flutist as a staff musician playing on NBC and CBS, Dad is egotistical, materialistic, and conservative. He is also domineering, unjust and stern. Catering to Dad’s chauvinistic ways, Mom is unhappy. Treated like a slave, because of Dad’s income, she tolerates him, often bragging to musician friends about never washing a dish. Nor does either parent praise Sal or his sister about anything.Though loving and possessing a good personality, Sal is bashful with girls, especially since most belong to cliques that associate with boys with varsity letters in sports. Nevertheless, naively curious about the world and stunned while listening to news about the casualties during World War II, he eventually develops an iconoclastic way of thinking, yet with a sense of humor. Absentmindedly noting little things around him like leaves on trees, insects, and the ballerinas printed in the wall paper at home suggests that Sal isn’t as maladjusted as he thinks. In fact, he is like most teens his age.
Washington in New York. The nation’s capital is in New York City, George Washington is president, and the competing policies of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison are threatening to divide the infant republic before it has a chance to prove itself. Washington becomes ill and is near death, and the government comes to a standstill. The plot of a novel? No. It happened as recounted in this book.
P. S. 201 takes place in a jungle-like section of Brooklyn during the Thirties. Son of dysfunctional parents, Sal D’Angelo suffers from attention deficit disorder (unknown then). Though petrified when Mom starts putting him in the dark basement at age four for not drinking his milk which he hates, he is happy about starting school. Intelligent, creative, and loving, he assumes others are similar, and is shocked. Bullies abound, kicking small boys including him, even girls during recess and after school. Though he reciprocates, they beat him up regularly. Blaming Sal for inciting them, Mom constantly slaps him across the face for arriving home late, disheveled, or both.Lacking parental love and attention, Sal soon becomes the class clown. Receiving D’s in conduct throughout the grades, he infuriates Dad, especially when Sal blames his teachers for being mean and unfair.Dad finally appears unexpectedly at the class door, embarrassing Sal as an eighth grader. Miss O’ Malley, his teacher, is prejudiced against Italians. Refusing to discuss Sal, she practically slams the door in Dad’s face. Humiliated, Dad blames Sal and explodes unmercifully at him that night.Moved to the last seat in the last row days later, Sal manages not to utter one word during the last six school weeks. Happy about graduating, and expecting an ‘A’ in conduct, he receives another ‘D’. Stunned, he breaks down and retreats from reality. School and houses appear to fade away before his eyes while he pauses on the school corner to look back. Amazed, frightened, and almost fainting, he waits until they seem to start edge back before heading for Grandma’s house. Barely discerning someone playing The Rustle of Spring emanating through a nearby opened window, he breaks into tears.
Zella, an Alien from another solar system arrived on Earth to chasten the people, who were destroying their planet. She had orders to rescue only 244,000 qualified people, the ‘Chosen Ones,’ and relocate them to a healthier planet to restart life. But first, with a stern warning that this will be last time for all humanity, and warned not to repeat their ancestor’s past mistakes. The ‘Chosen Ones’ spent several months lurking inside the Icebox below the ocean, out of sight and sound from the US Navy, but once their location was found, the US Navy begun dropping nuclear bombs to rid them before the world hears the truth. Finally, with the new qualified people trained for outer space traveling, and safely inside the UFO spacecrafts, taken their leave from Earth, which soon began to break apart from a designed asteroid. The question remains, who are the ‘Chosen Ones?’
This book is a work of love. Love for a cat named Aphrodite. We adopted her the minute we saw her come out of the hiding place where her feral mom and dad were temporarily staying…under our neighbor's back porch. It was love at fi rst sight. We adopted the whole family and they stayed with us until her mom and dad (Hera and Zeus) crossed over that Rainbow Bridge. Sixteen years later, Aphrodite is still with us, and although she has some health issues, is still going strong. I hope you enjoy her story (as told to you by Aphrodite).
This book is a tribute to a Mother/Woman who was instrumental in the development of many lives. She shared herself with her family, friends, church family, and strangers that she met. She was always welcoming. She was always giving. She was called by many as “Mama Gordon”! She possessed a loving and determined spirit. People gravitated to her. She embraced them. I wrote this book to try and capture how much she meant to me and those she knew and loved. She left a void which is now filled with memories that will last forever. I pray to continue to grow and share her love.

Gehring was the First Naval Chaplain to receive the Legion of Merit Medal from the President of United States, and the Presidential Unit Citation, for his heroic work on Guadalcanal
It is quite likely that this is the most unbelievable true story you will ever read. At its core, this book is a factual and historical account of a very important discovery that was never shared with the world - one that changed previously established and accepted benchmarks of human abilities. It is time this story was told. In 1990, the entire defense system of the United States was completely shut down by a Navy enlistee and a pencil. Authorities accused this man of being a foreign military spy. They perceived him to be an alien hybrid or time traveler, simply because of his unbelievable abilities and attributes. An engaging journey of experiences and challenges that may benefit the reader, a testament to perseverance and determination. This story may read like a spy novel, or perhaps science fiction . . . but it is not.
I wrote this book in memory of society's flaws as the twenty-first century began. I opposed the actions of the democratic system and felt that things should change within our own society. I had been incarcerated and found poetry to be an outlet of expression. What I began to write portrayed how I had seen in the judicial system and the rhetoric that this society portrayed as bias and totally racist. I had believed that the judicial system had produced this element, the oppressed who must free themselves in search for identity while time unfolds.
This story, the first in a trilogy, begins in a Barbaric world, thousands of years in the future, where scientists, known as "the smart ones", have spent generation after generation planning and preparing to bring down their ruthless rulers. These "smart ones" have written a story, it, and the development of time travel, many thousands of years after the story was written, will be key to the success of their plan, but was there success Their hope is twofold, firstly that people will one day live peacefully and in a free world and secondly that science will be allowed to develop naturally rather than be oppressed by fearful Barbarian rulers who view "the smart ones" as a necessary but dangerous evil. This story has science and theology completely intertwined. It's a story that answers the most asked question in human and theological history. People may actually change their minds based on the theory this fictional story suggests. Horrific atrocities, much mystery, believable science, mistakes, love, anger, fear, more mistakes, hope and drama fill the page and your mind. It's cliffhanger ending leaves you knowing it is not over, you will be confused but the confusion will only fuel your thoughts and want of an answer. Visit "IN WHO'S HANDS" on social media and let us know what you think happened. The subtitle for the 2nd story is "The Answer" and it does totally answer the ENDING of this 1st story but it still leaves some mysteries up in the air. The 3rd novel will clear up these mysteries and totally blow you away. So much so that I can not even reveal the subtitle
In 1974 Chuck Salisbury left his Real Estate Career in Springfield, Illinois and headed for a job with a Municipal Bond firm in Beverly Hills located at 8665 Wilshire Blvd. The small firm was called Stern-Brenner and Co. and little did he know that he had found a home where he could learn the Securities Business from the security and tax-free benefits offered by Municipal Bonds. In 74 most of the bonds were bought by institutions and banks but with the tax rate among the highest in History he decided that he needed to educate wealthy people and their CPA's of the benefits of Muni's. Getting off to a fast start on the phone he used his imagination to create a Municipal Bond seminar to attract wealthy people and Tax Preparers including local CPA's. He supposed that the reason more wealthy people didn't buy Muni's to lower their taxes was because most didn't know anything about them. Chuck was right and for the next 4 years he was busy doing seminars from San Jose to San Diego and built a substantial clientele of wealthy investors. He not only sold bonds but, with some of his wealthier clients, actually underwrote some smaller Special Assessment Bonds called 1911 Bonds. As a creative person who likes to think " out of the box" he searched for bonds that had defaulted to see if there was a opportunity for greater profit as well as Tax-Free income. His biggest find was the Ontario Motor Speedway bonds which, as revenue bonds, couldn't make the timely payment required. But Chuck read the original offering and found that the bond security was the property upon which the Speedway was built. As Commercial Property, next to the 10 Freeway, he concluded that the property was very valuable and confirmed that with a call to a local Real Estate broker. So Chuck called his wealthy Clients and encouraged them to buy the defaulted bonds at 25% of face value and then foreclose. That begin a 22 year career as a fixed income specialist with imagination. His clients were Hollywood elites, Sports Stars and his favorite, WWII Hero Jimmy Doolittle. Chuck loved to visit him in his sparse Santa Monica office. Chuck has many stories that now form a foundation for more investment books. Stay tuned.
