Tears on Paper has been both a curse and blessing to write and it has taken many years. The curse comes from truly diving into the reality of foreign pain and the ensuing inability to avoid it. The blessing is the fact that it presents a unique opportunity to lend my voice to those who feel voiceless.Tears on Paper has many meanings like literal tears on a piece of paper. It is also the words that remain unspoken or perhaps destiny's creation. It is the eye in the sky perspective or a track of tears to follow. It is a stark realization that pain today can be joy tomorrow. It is dreams and pain taking flight and a reminder to trust your struggle.Tears on Paper is the feeling of being free at last or awake for the first time. It is the reality that hurts my soul although in time there is change in hearts. It's a plea that love needs you perhaps more than you need love. Never more are you a victim because you are the creator of your truth. There is no shame in starting over, everything change IS begins with you. When paper tears and you are granted the opportunity to start again, "nueva vida" is your reward and you have the most precious gift of all…. a new life to begin.

  • - Volume II
    av Alfred B Porter

Melanin Man Series It was really a roller coaster and page turner. It was intriguing from the very start and well worth the read. The story's main character was particularly interesting. The Adventures of Melanin Man is truly a book showcasing a melting point of culture. I must say that at first the name seemed so farfetched and it appeared like this would be just another book but it really exceeded expectations. It indwells a new sense of pride to recognize what power lies within yourself. I particularly like a book that causes one to spend time in quiet contemplation and this is exactly what this book did to me. Alfred Porter in this book shows we can create a better world in the spirit of love and togetherness as demonstrated by the major characters in the book.

  • - You Don't Have to Be Rich and Famous to Have Adventures
    av Edmond P DeRousse
    114,-

As one goes through life, adventures happen. Good, bad, or mediocre. It is what we do with them that matters. Life is more than the function of just breathing. It also is being aware of our surroundings, learning from them, and responding to them. As long as we are able to take a breath, life is experienced…………… This book celebrates life through a series of adventures. I know you will identify with something or someone in it. Another flash of light! A little closer this time. Every hair on my body feels charged with electricity. My body is tingling. Is it from the electrically charged air or from anticipation of what I fear may be coming in the next few seconds? A plan of attack was devised and the Brave Eighteen, as they will forever be named, went off to battle. The MPs loaded both of them into separate cars and took them away. CJ says every time she sees the TV show America's Most Wanted and watches the bad guys get loaded into the squad cars, she is reminded of those two housewives from Ft. Bliss. Everyone knew him, what he was about, and what he was capable of doing to each man in the room. He had a reputation everyone was familiar with. No one knew why he entered. But we all knew he was there. I was the one dealing with IT and was battling IT. Did I have the ability to fight IT off? I had my doubts. Afterall, many things could go wrong.

Now. What. A resurrection? It was the older brother's face that caused Stacey to think to turn and to run, … from the two revenants.

The concept of being alone and trying to find The Lord in times of need, desperation, break many souls, and many give up, not knowing what they are missing, being denied. So much has been planned, provided for each one, before birth, yet beaten, forsaken by mankind,... the only choices are to lay down and be trampled if faith fails, or get up and fight. The nature of human is to survive, but the responsibility and righteous way, cause all to take up the "self-life", which produces independence from God. The Lord Jesus promised that if He is lifted up, will draw all peoples onto Him. This has happened 2000 years ago, at the establishing of "The Year of The Lord", A.D., and it was because of the declaring that when He is "lifted up"...on the Cross of Death, that...the ruler of "man's hearts"..., the ruler of this World will be cast out!Knowledge runs the World but knowing according to God in Christ Jesus matters the most, the Promises were fulfilled throughout history. What about His Promises for you, do you know what is planned and provided for you? There is a... rising up, things that need to be known about Him, about you,... come and arise, rise up, learn what happens..."lf l am Lifted Up."

In "A Random Act of Kindness" a young man sees something he knows is not right, steps in, and makes a difference to someone he does not know and has never met before. That simple random act of kindness did make a difference. Mark Twain once said; "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." In this book I've tried to show that difference and why it really is true. Life is all about choices we make. Some good…some not so good. Failure, however, is not an option. How we respond to circumstances beyond our control, in many cases, can be the difference between peace of mind or heart-wrenching agony. I would hope we call can come together and choose peace of mind.
