Rolled, silver white hair created a halo about the woman's head. The lamplight cast oblique shadows on her delicate, high cheekbones. Above the cheekbones, her eyes were ice blue and steady, belying the eighty years of this statuesque woman. Her demeanor exhibited and commanded an aura of aristocracy. Kathleen's throat tightened and felt dry. She trembled slightly as she spoke. She was a reasonably intelligent, thirty-eight-year-old woman quite capable of comprehending all that had been depicted and yet, the shocking concept of the old woman's claim was loathsome and incredulous. Acceptance of such cruel allegations against her grandmother, whom she so admired, was totally denied. In this emotionally charged family saga, Kathleen is shocked to learn of her grandmother's wicked past from her Great Aunt Rose. As if the shocking revelations aren't hard enough for Kathleen to deal with, she is forced to make a decision that will determine the course of her future.

This book is a discussion on the Age of Aquarius that has arrived within the past few years. The subjects affects us all. I gave my opinion on what are some characteristics of this Age and Spirituality. The Holy Spirit is present and a new spirituality will emerge from this Age. The changes that this Age will present is the first that we as an intelligent race can document. I know quite a lot about this Age and I explain how that is so.

“The Little Eater of Bleeding Hearts is a testimony of a milieu and of an era that history has no right to erase.” ANTONINE MAILLET Very rarely do Americans dare to write in French nowadays. The author, Norman Beaupré, has a special talent for doing so. He's the one who translated his original autobiographical novel, Le Petit Mangeur de Fleurs(The Little Eater of Flowers), with a sensitivity to words as well as an exceptional authenticity in expressing his thoughts on his own growing up. One could easily say that it is the merger of the simplicity of a child with the wisdom of one who has struggled to maintain his own cultural identity as a Francophone writer. The author revealed, during one interview in France, that he found the work authentic for many reasons but especially because he had to recollect memories from long past that were, and still are, painful to him. The Francophone population of New England laments the erosion of its language and culture. Each one struggles in his own way attempting to remain faithful to the collective identity they grew up with. Norman Beaupré, while playing with words and sometimes with bleeding hearts, dares to become, by doing so, one of the standard bearers of the ethnic group to which he belongs. This work not only touches upon memories of growing up but the very lives with which the author came into contact from as far as he can remember up to his late teens. A work of cultural richness and pride(fierté), as a reader from Dijon, France, once expressed to the author at a Salon du Livre that he attended in 2007.
This book consists of two parts: 108 Chinese poems from ShiJing, which mainly coming from the first section of ShiJing and 108 ancient Chinese quatrains before 77 BC, in English, Chinese and French. We tried to use latest interpretations published in China to avoid misunderstanding on original texts. For the titles we tried to translate their meaning as close to the original as possible so as to maintain the ancient styles. We also made corrections on some missed words, lines, and misinterpreted terms on few flowers and plants etc. Your criticism is welcomed, please contact at seng.du@gmail.com.

This story is about understanding life as a fragile, unique creation. David’s exploration of words used is quite simple and easy to understand just how Life created us all-inclusive as the earthlings we are. The story is based on finding love through forgiveness that in the end creates immortality in our flesh long before death. A love story that shows just what loving-kindness can do.
In the wee hours, on October 14th, 1981 a breezy, foggy morning, my partner driving our police unit along with other Atlantic City police units were in a high speed, approximately sixty miles per hour pursuit, of a possible assault suspect, shots had been fired when my partner and I joined in on the pursuit; my partner who was driving and wearing his own personal bullet proof vest. Sadly, he was not able to put his side panels to his vest on, I was inched down in the passenger seat with the shotgun between my legs, while my eyes were leveled with the dashboard, when suddenly more shots were fired by the suspect, at both police cars that had the suspect's vehicle sandwiched in, heading westbound out of the city, crossing over the bridge. Shots rang out, my partner screamed "Mom!" suddenly we spun out on top of the bridge, me not realizing it; my partner had been shot twice, one bullet behind his left ear, not penetrating his scalp, the other shot, piercing the side of his vest; which if it didn't would have exited the other side striking me in my head. But God allowed me to step out with faith twice, once surviving the shootout, and second, surviving the mistreatment of the Atlantic City Police Department, but God had me when I didn't have myself. Some thirty plus years later, I give the testimony of "My Bridge Over Troubled Waters."
Husbands and wives in an unhappy marriage inevitably find themselves on the horns of a dilemma. While part of them is unable to continue to hold on, another part of them is unable to let go. In the terms that To Divorce or Not to Divorce puts it, they are unable to decide whether to go forward and end their marriage by getting a divorce or to go back and attempt to work on the problems in their marriage in an attempt to save it. That is their dilemma, and they will commonly remain frozen in indecision not only for months on end but often, for many years. It is the purpose of To Divorce or Not to Divorce to help those locked in such indecision to resolve their conflict by answering this question. Moreover, it is anticipated that they will be able to do that by the time they finish reading the book. Why do husbands and wives have such difficulty making this decision? More importantly, why do they so often feel that the mental health professionals to whom they turned for help were not able to help them? It is the thesis of this book that the answer to both of these questions is the same. They and the mental health professionals to whom they turned to were asking the wrong question. In the terms that To Divorce or Not to Divorce puts it, they were lost because they were using the wrong road map. It was a road map that caused them to focus their attention on the symptoms of their problems rather than on their cause. The books purpose is to give them a better road map, one which will encourage them to ask the right question and, in doing so, resolve their conflict. That is the burden of part I of the book. Part II is intended to help them once they have made that decision. Whether they decide to go forward and end their marriage or go back and address the problems in their marriage, they are going to need help. All too often, however, the help that husbands and wives get, whether from lawyers or from mental health professionals, doesn't help. On the contrary, it only makes things worse. The burden of part II is to enable them to avoid this.
Invertebrate America (IA) gives an overview of America’s declining moral and spiritual values from a biblical perspective. It shares how biblical prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Read the books of Daniel, Zechariah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Matthew and Revelation. Cynbel & Zothia is his first novel. At the moment he is working on his second novel, a historical, cultural, Christian, prophetic fiction about Haiti’s visionary future entitled, “TURMOIL IN HIGH LAND?”. Here is an extraordinary garden, a mysterious one nurtured by Cynthia’s great, great grandmother Solange, which was anointed by God and is now sustained by her family. It is in this garden, Cynthia wants Zorobabel her lover to kiss her for the very first time. Josue Rodene For an American, it is difficult to imagine that people in Haiti, with all that land’s trials and tribulations, can pursue happiness the way we hope that people do everywhere. Meeting people like these and absorbing their positive outlook on life has been enormously enlightening experience for me and I am sure that it will be for almost every reader. This is a "historical espionage thriller," that names people, places and events that have happened, and those that are likely to soon come to pass. Some of the key players in this international plot include: Presidents Bush, Obama and Trump; former Secretary of State John Kerry, Hillary Clinton; and key influential leaders of EU, NATO and the Middle East. Vincent Renaldo was leading a sedate suburban life and mundane corporate job until now. He's now on a quest for real meaning in life, passion and true love. Vince gets ensnared in the "quicksand" of espionage plots, and love affairs with three women. Which of these women will satisfy his quest: There is Eva, the wild seductress of Monaco. There is Anne, the beautiful double agent, with all the right connections. There is Susan, the devoted loving wife and mother of his children. Vincent learns the lessons of life when he becomes involved in an international plot between Iran, Syria, Israel and the United States comes together to confront him. He discovers that the real battleground on earth is that one absolute freedom that we all have: choosing between good and evil. Quicksand is a page-turner you won't be able to put down! "This author has certainly done his research. … His ability to keep readers entertained with the [actual] historical facts, as well as romance and corruption, adds to the excitement. The author has done an extraordinary job of describing events, corruption, and seedy characters. Readers will feel as if they were right there. Quicksand is scary, informational and very entertaining." Carol Hoyer, PhD., for Reader Views.
