Set on a farm in Tasmania, Creaky's Bend is a week in the life of two possums and a mouse, who call the farm shed home. Poppy the mouse has constructed a warm bed, nestled in the seat of a broken-down Chevrolet truck. Blue and Bell have built their dry home in a vintage blue stroller that hangs on the shed wall, right beside Poppy's truck. Together the three little animals eagerly watch the daily visitors to Nanny Joy, the spritely silver haired great grandmother, who is 80 years old and not slowing down one bit. Nanna's driveway is so very long, bending around Creaky the gum tree, past the cow paddock and up to the front door of her lovely old brick house. You can follow along with Poppy, Blue and Bell, and be guessing just who is coming around Creaky's Bend, and why they are visiting the farm. Little blue wrens are on the pages, waiting to be spotted. As the week comes to an end, it is time to guess who is arriving around the bend, and it isn't who we expect.
This book was written and illustrated by students who attended a Writer's Camp at Paluma Environmental Education Centre in October, 2021. The purpose of the camp was to expose children to the natural environment, creative writing and illustrating. The children experienced a variety of lived experiences in the rainforest in addition to, a treasure hunt, code breaking, story-telling and nature cycles. The aim was to encourage children to connect to their environment with their head, heart, and hands to inspire their creativity and imagination. The camp was hosted by two local Townsville authors; Matt B Lewis and Krissy Regan, who helped the children to take their own stories and to become published authors.
Queerly Ever After is a bold reimagining of classic fairy tales. Based on tales from the likes of Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm, Queerly Ever After takes us on a journey that explores plurisexuality, the fluidity of gender and identity, as well as the multiplicity of queerness. Join your favourite characters and experience their worlds, and lives, with a queer twist. "When I was young, I was taught happiness was defined by whether the princess finds a prince to marry by the end of her tale. In fact, her tales weren't really hers at all-princesses were nameless, voiceless characters who fulfilled a role and taught a moral. The fairy tales I read in my formative years left little room for grey areas and fluidity- genders were binary, gender roles were discrete, and sexuality was unexplored. As I matured and found more diverse stories, they still rarely engaged with the spaces between the binaries; I gradually learned that man-woman relationships were not the only option, but I was not exposed to the rainbow of alternatives until much later in life.Queerly Ever After is a collection of short stories written for the bisexual girl who grew up uncertain, without words to describe her identity. It's for the bisexual teenager who did not have stories in which to explore her sexuality. It's for me, years ago. And for the me who is yet to come." - Alayna Cole
I have listed police, car mechanics, salesmen, equipment repairers, bathroom designers, doctors, civil service institutions, estate agents, travel agents, internet scams and other scams that I have experienced who I thought had not acted professionally. Some recent media reports of similar events are also included.

Islam Re-Examined: Christian Questions and Muslim Answers is a book well researched. It is not based on emotion, but facts quoted from Islamic literature. Sources used in this book include: Roman Transliteration of the Arabic Text, Muslim Scholars Quran Translations and Commentary, Tafsir (Early Islam Commentary), Sahih Hadiths (i.e. Al-Bukhari, Muslim, etc.), Magazines, Public Debates, etc. It is not a book you can read like a novel, it is not a story-telling to read and follow from the first page to the last page. It is a guide, a hand-book and well referenced. The best recommendation is to study the index and know what topics are in the pages of the book. It is a book that truth-seekers were waiting for. Readers are encouraged to verify the stated information for themselves to confirm the authenticity of the quotations. This book is the result of investigating Muslim claims for the past 30 years. My prayer is that you will identify with Truth and follow it as you study this book. God bless.
