Our kind have been enslaved by the Fae for as long as this kingdom remembers. They need us to keep water in their kingdom flowing, without it surely their kind would all perish as not even the powerful Fae have control over the waters that feed life to everything. Somewhere along the lines they all lost that ability as if that element revolted against them.Waiting over 21 years I've been kept in the dark of my true heritage, being raised as a witch like my auntie, that can wield water with spells.Soon I would be old enough to leave my childhood home beyond the protection spell that has kept me safe all these years, to seek the destiny in store for me. A vision, perhaps even a prophecy, in the castle where I was born caused my parents to secret me away under the dark of night. Saved by an unlikely partnership. The first time in thousands of years the elements are set to combine into the greatest power ever known and somehow I am the center of it all. The power of the elements are told to bring about peace in the lands and restore life in the realm to more than it has ever been before. No more struggles for food and starving. No more Taxation with penalties of death. No more hatred and fear of the Rulers of the kingdom. Only prosperity health, and maybe even something more? Please note: This is a Reverse Harem Novel. Alfred Thayer Mahan (1840-1914) was a United States Navy officer, geostrategist, and educator. His ideas on the importance of sea power influenced navies around the world, and helped prompt naval buildups before World War I. Despite his success in the Navy, his skills in actual command of a ship were not exemplary, and a number of vessels under his command were involved in collisions. On the other hand, the books he wrote ashore made him arguably the most influential naval historian. In 1885, he was appointed lecturer in naval history and tactics and the Naval War College. Before entering on his duties, Mahan was pointed to write his future studies and lectures on the influence of sea power. He organized his lectures into his most influential books, The Influence of Sea Power upon History, 1660-1783 (1890).

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (11 November 1821 - 9 February 1881), sometimes transliterated as Dostoyevsky, was a Russian novelist, short story writer, essayist, and journalist. Dostoevsky's literary works explore human psychology in the troubled political, social, and spiritual atmospheres of 19th-century Russia, and engage with a variety of philosophical and religious themes. His most acclaimed novels include Crime and Punishment (1866), The Idiot (1869), and The Brothers Karamazov (1880). Dostoevsky's body of works consists of 12 novels, four novellas, 16 short stories, and numerous other works. Many literary critics rate him as one of the greatest novelists in all of world literature, as multiple of his works are considered highly influential masterpieces. His 1864 novella Notes from Underground is considered to be one of the first works of existentialist literature.

Dr. Richard Austin Freeman MRCS LSA (11 April 1862 - 28 September 1943) was a British writer of detective stories, mostly featuring the medico-legal forensic investigator Dr. Thorndyke. He invented the inverted detective story (a crime fiction in which the commission of the crime is described at the beginning, usually including the identity of the perpetrator, with the story then describing the detective's attempt to solve the mystery). Roberts said that this invention was Freeman's most noticeable contribution to detective fiction.¿ Freeman used some of his early experiences as a colonial surgeon in his novels. Many of the Dr. Thorndyke stories involve genuine, but sometimes arcane, points of scientific knowledge, from areas such as tropical medicine, metallurgy and toxicology.

"This time next year, what will be different?" It's December 1995 in Wellton, Alabama, and a chill has entered the atmosphere. As seasonal sweaters are pulled a little tighter, fingers are pointing at a prominent donor amid the regrettable possibility that ill-gotten gains may have been used to fund the new church organ. Well, this is just unpleasant, especially for the head of the committee who isn't quite sure what to do about the whole thing. In the meantime, a forlorn gentleman trying to get back on his feet confronts a simple question about his future prospects, and his search for answers takes him into unexpected encounters with new neighbors and a former friend. Over on Southview, an 85-year-old Sunday school teacher who goes by the name of Miss Bertie puts her two cents in the mix. And Hannah Hayes, a reporter from The Wellton Courier, works to connect the dots. Minnie Lamberth's novella, George Stringfellow Joins the Revolution, winds its way into a new year in a small town-and change is in the air.

"Girl, Bye! is NOT a kiss & makeup book." In Girl, Bye! She's Not Going Anywhere...Neither Are You (2nd edition), author and founder of the largest community for millenials in stepfamilies, Naja Hall sends a loud and clear message to Mothers and Stepmothers stuck in the throes of conflict. While it would be nice for Moms and Stepmoms to become great friends, that's usually a far-fetched reality for most. Neither of these women are excited about the other's presence, so this pairing is likely to be met with apprehension, confusion, and plenty of headaches. While she may not be ready to leave the drama at the door, you don't have to answer every time trouble comes knocking. Naja compels every woman to be the highest version of herself despite the presence of a woman that contradicts her expectations and challenges her peace. Naja also teaches tactics on silencing the lingering doubts and fears that plague the minds of these women. Not one to stray from her roots as Stepfamily Coach, Naja challenges women to explore the Mother or Stepmother in their lives, to confront their own idiosyncrasies, and figure out why the other woman's presence bothers them so much. Girl, Bye! has been declared better than "six months of therapy in a paperback book! "Girl, Bye! She's Not Going Anywhere...Neither Are You is also available as a Masterclass. "It's not a matter of if you'll get burned-it's when, and how bad." Summer Kayes is used to pain. She lived with it every day during high school, when her peers tormented her. She felt it in the rejection of her dance coach, who made it clear she didn't fit the beautiful-ballerina mold, and in the blade she pressed to her wrist one fateful night, ready to end it all . . . Five years older, more grounded, and driven by a desire to feel beautiful, Summer ventures into a piercing parlor and crosses paths with the couple who will change her life: beautiful, bold, confident Rhiannon and relentless flirt Adrian. As the two women become friends, Rhiannon invites Summer into the world of tribal belly dance, an open, accepting community of artists who celebrate and support one another. Summer immerses herself in the culture of the dark and lovely fire arts, where the dance is as dangerous as it is stunning. Together with Rhiannon, Adrian, and her new tribe mates-brash Morgan, sultry Rosie, and enigmatic Phoenix-Summer forms a fire-performance troupe, and the friends take the Cincinnati underground dance stage by storm. But along with blazes of triumph also come searing hurts, as Summer's new peace is endangered by temptations and betrayals, and the hatred she endured as a teen casts its shadow over her once again. Even if all she has built is reduced to ash, can Summer protect the fire within herself? The overriding theme of "Girl on Fire" is a timeless one of tested and growing friendships and a building of self-confidence that is audacious in the most admirable way, as a troubled girl becomes a confident fire eater who blooms through spinning fire poi, learning tribal belly dance, and more. The extraordinary details will speak strongly to those who are curious about a world they may never have known existed, until now.
