Buck Reilly's plans for a romantic getaway are turned upside down when he's asked to come to Italy by Sir Harry Greenbaum, his former main investor, and old family friend, to do a flyover at the beginning of the Formula 1 race in Monza. Turns out the real reason Harry asked him to come was to help him combat organized crime members intent on forcing their way into his pending investment into one of the Formula 1's most historic teams. When Harry gets kidnapped, Buck scours northern Italy searching for him, battling with his captors, and taking matters into his own hands to try and rescue his friend. If everything isn't settled by the end of the race in Monza, Harry's deal will be dead, and so will he and Buck. When they try to outmaneuver the head of the crime syndicate, thousands of lives are thrust into immediate jeopardy. Buck's race against time puts him in the most extreme danger he has ever faced, and if he's successful, will help him solve the greatest mystery of his life.

It is 1943 during the height of WWII and seventeen-year-old Vlada Munk, a Czech Jew, has sworn off any thoughts of romance. Imprisoned by the Nazis within the walls of the Jewish ghetto at Terezin, his courtships have taken tragic turns as his love interests are forced aboard trains and deported to the "East." Vlada throws himself into his work as the camp locksmith, but his resolve is tested on a spring day in 1943 when he spots the dark-haired and confident beauty, Kitty Löwi, walking down the street of the camp. Vlada and Kitty's comfortable childhoods have been shattered by the illegitimate Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia, and they bond over their shared commonalities: denied an education, forced to give up beloved family pets, and made to wear the yellow star publicly branding them as Jews, they then endure one more indignity. They are deported to the Terezin ghetto, a place where death is delayed, not deferred. Vlada and Kitty's love is a bright spot amidst the camp's overcrowding, hunger, and daily fear of Nazi retribution. When Vlada is forced aboard a train bound for Auschwitz, Kitty is left behind in Terezin. Will they overcome all odds and honor their pledge to reunite in a world brighter than the one in which they've met? Based on a true coming-of-age story of love and loss, hope and survival, The Missing Star is ultimately the story of the resilient heart.

Frank Love Letters: To the Hitler Line follows the story of Horgie and Peachie as he arrives in the United Kigndom and is assigned to a holding unit. He starts his journey at various hot spots around Europe and eventually making his way to the forefront of the Hitler Line in Italy where the action starts. I honour these five months of letters as they are the last of his writings before he experienced the horrors of war. I don't know if or how my grandpa was supported for post-traumatic stress but I understand it had an impact on the family and many other families at the time. My grandmother is to be honoured as well as the sons, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandkids that loved him as he was. Society has learned through research that PTSD is treatable and there is a way to support someone that has experienced significant trauma. Timely access to treatment with family support is imperative to a successful recovery. So be loving, be compassionate, and be kind. After reading all the letters I have to date, I have come to understand that there are only two things worth fighting for; 1. Human Rights (The Four Freedoms); and 2. To get home to be with your family. An organization that does this professionally day in and day out in my community is called The Green Wood Coalition. They are good people doing the work of advocating for those in need and vulnerable peoples in the community as well as help people get feel safe at home. 40% of the proceeds of this book sold between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2028 will be directed to Green Wood to continue their work. We do what we can when we can. Together with Green Wood, and other allies, we can do a lot.
