Janice Wilson Kassel is an Iowa farm wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother extraordinaire. From her earliest memories growing up in southern Iowa, Janice loved to read and write and dreamed of becoming a teacher. After graduating from New Market High in 1949, the young valedictorian ventured off to Iowa State University, where she studied home economics, developed lifelong friends, and met her husband, Ken Kassel. The two were married on December 16, 1951, at the Collegiate Methodist Church in Ames, where theyd met the year before. Starting out in DeKalb, Illinois, the couple would become parents to the first of four children within a year, and eventually return to the family farm in northwest Iowa, in 1959. Over the next 60 years, Janice raised her family, ran the farm books, took care of the lawn, fed the troops and served in a multitude of community activities. At 87, Janice is one of the busiest octogenarians you will ever meet, maintaining a full social calendar of church events, garden club, and coffee and cards with friends, even as she keeps up with 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her desire to leave a legacy in the form of this book is her expression of deepest gratitude to her family and the life she was given and has enjoyed to the fullest.

    A. Based on fact-checking, this book relates the worlds financial crisis and political violent turmoil in many countries to the accumulative effects of structural flaws of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UNUDHR) and constitutions of member states. A democratic genetic engineering (DGE) program is proposed to peacefully democratize the world by1.opening political consciousness and encouraging common people to take political power into their own hands to become political-power wielders, to exercise the principle of equality, which is the essence of democracy;2.complementing freedom of speech with freedom to be heard, equal treatment, and freedom of information; 3.opening free government political media to all citizens to criticize, suggest, and campaign; having free speech forum for private sectors; and4)producing all authorities by periodic democratic elections; making all important decisions by the majority of three independent-power branches: legislative, judiciary, executive.B. Learning Lessons from NatureEducated people all believe in nature science. Modern physics proves that our world is wave-particle dualistic. Complement opposites rather than antagonize them is the sustainable solution since opposites are complementary. World peace, in fact, is only a matter of change of concepts.C. Making the Human Dream Come TrueLife is limited, and possession is not portable. Possession not in use is a waste. Well-coordinated, systematic approach of targeted philanthropy will enable people to be free from struggles for making a living, to choose the jobs they love most, and to make their greatest contribution to humanity, education, research, and creation will flourish. Human beings will enjoy happiness than ever before. The world is not enough. Human beings will choose the best star to live in the universe.
