I begin writing at 85 year, old when my grandchildren wanted me to write what I did in the war in WWII. I have never written or told anyone about what I did before, but I try to put it a book. The story was alright by the grammar was trouble. After that book, I went to night school of two years and joined a writing class. I begin to like writing and today, I have four books on Amazon and in book stores. I have just turn 94, and don't planned anymore writing, so I'm sending the short stories that I have written in the book for last nine years. I hope you may like some of them. The Author

Paul was born in Tarsus about 4B.C.E. His father was a faithful Jew, a Roman, and a successful tent manufacturer. This book emphasizes three families and their relationship with birth, love, travel, religion, and death. The first family is that of Omar and his wife Ruth. They have four children, Aaron; their oldest son, his brother, Hezekiah, Yona the only daughter, and Paul, the youngest child. The second family is Zacharias, his wife Elizabeth, and son, John. The third family is that of Joseph and his wife Mary. They have a large family; Jesus was their first born, James, twins Salome and Thomas, Simon, and finally Judah. My story reveals how these three families were involved in the formation and dissemination of the Christian religion. It is a story loosely based on the stories of the Bible. My intent is to entertain you and hopefully stimulate your thought process, about Bible stories, by providing the human interactions concerning these three families.

The Song of Our Father (cf. The Song of Hiawatha) is the story of a patriarch of the Niger Delta in West Africa, told in poetry like its homophonic cousin, and rhymed in 29 of 30 chapters. The Prologue flashes back to 1834 when the British explorer Richard Lander made his second expedition to the area and was killed while passing through the protagonist''s home town, Angiama. Interestingly, the forebears of John Lander, Richard''s brother and co-explorer - Megan and Emily - made an anniversary trip in 2004 to mark the 200th birthday of Richard Lander''s birth. The Frank-Opigo family made contact with them through the British High Commission in Nigeria to encourage them to come down the River Niger as far as Angiama, the point where Richard died. That "event" is captured in the Epilogue.Between the Prologue and the Epilogue is a microscopic story of Nigeria and the Niger Delta, told through the life of Nicholas Abo Frank-Opigo, 1926 - 2010. Snapshots of Nigeria''s pre-independence, independence, the Biafra civil war and its aftermath, are all retold in a new perspective and with fresh details. The culture of the people of the Niger Delta underline sections of the narrative. Certain previously untold details of the Biafran warlord, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, come to light, as the protagonist was one of his provincial Administrators. Above all, it is the poignant story of a man, told by his son, who grew up in challenging circumstances and rose through sheer gumption from grass to grace - to gasp.

In reality, John Quinton Amos Johnson was just an eleven-year-old in the sixth grade at Alexis D. Human Junior High School who enjoyed sports, friends, and reading mystery novels. This is a story about a boy with a vivid imagination who lets onomatopoeia, or specific sounds, trigger his imagination, helping him create a wondrous world of fantasy in which he is the hero who captures the villain and saves the day.

The story is set in rural Louisiana in the 1950s and describes the antics of young boys growing up in the South where family, hard work and a belief in God are important. It is comical by nature as it describes their attempts at relieving the drudgery and boredoms that come with living. The story follows the life of the Britton family in Catahoula Parish and their interactions with neighbors and friends. The main characters of the story are Snooks Britton and his brother Lil'Ray. Trouble seems to always follow Lil'Ray but generally lands on anyone with him. There is a bear hunt disguised as a bear hunt that turns into an encounter with a wild hog. Snooks, Lil'Ray and their friends manage to burn down an illegal whiskey operation that is tied to the Louisiana Mafia. The area is rural and poor so not only do the people work to make a living; they work hard to entertain themselves. Some of these attempts backfire creating laughable situations that make for years of good yarns at social gatherings.

Christ My Healer and Deliverer is the testimony of a woman's journey from sin to redemption. God restored her, and now she is doing what he desires for her life. "I felt as though I was having a nightmare, but that was impossible. My eyes were wide open. All the things I did were against everything I once stood for. How did I allow myself to get to this place? I loved God and had served him from my youth, but I fell right into the devil's trap. How could I be so foolish and allow a man to separate me from my God? It was so strange being where I was and not being able to hear from him. God was still there; it was me who had moved. When I finally came to my senses and called on God to help me, he lifted me out of the pit I was in. God cleansed me and got me back on track. I am now headed in the right direction and fulfilling the purpose God has for my life. I can once again walk with my head held high, because he healed me from my shame. I have purposed in my heart to never allow anyone or anything to ever come between me and God."
