On May 18th, I endured a life-altering emergency, resulting in being rushed to the hospital due to severe pain. In a dramatic turn of events, I was declared clinically dead four days later, experiencing two episodes of ceased breathing, each cutting off vital oxygen to my brain and body. Miraculously, I was given a second chance at life, a choice I embraced wholeheartedly. My recovery was a long and challenging journey, spanning three months in the hospital and an extensive period of recuperation at home. Against medical expectations, I regained abilities doctors doubted I would, including the use of my voice, particularly for singing. This experience taught me about the profound impact of our choices in life.Fueled by determination and a strong sense of purpose, I held onto life with the conviction that my time had not yet come. As a newcomer in ministry, I was only just beginning to understand the path God had set for me. Inspired by Psalm 90:12, I believed that my days were not yet numbered, and I chose to fight for the life God intended for me.Prompted by others' curiosity about my experience, I decided to write this book. It's a testament to the power of choice, prayer, and faith, highlighting how these forces can transcend even the grip of death. My story is not just about survival, but about embracing life with enthusiasm and gratitude. In sharing my journey, I aim to offer inspiration and comfort, imparting principles that helped me overcome adversity. As a musician and a minister, I strive to tell my story authentically without being overly preachy, but acknowledging the crucial role of my faith and the divine guidance that shaped my journey. My hope is that readers will find encouragement and guidance in my story, leading them to their best lives.
The Orderliness of WorshipWe have the "Order of Worship" because we want the worship to be planned, the ways to be proper, the work to be performed, the whole to be profitable, and the will to be pure. We have the "Order of Worship" so we can plan to be identified, involved, included, improved, and increased.Since we have an "order," let us get in order, be in order, and do things in order "For God is not the author of confusion..." (1 Corinthians 14:33). Our God is a God of order. Hence, "Let all things be done decently and in order."
On Membership Roll with No Ministry RoleIn the thought-provoking exploration "On membership Roll with no Ministry Role: Treating The Malady of Spiritual Quiescence," the author confronts a silent crisis within the modern church with the candor and concern of a devoted believer. The book reveals a troubling paradox: while the church is endowed with a multitude of ministries for the edification of Christ's followers, a staggering majority of its members remain uninvolved, leading to what the author terms "functional paralysis"-a state of disengagement that hinders the vibrant life of the congregation. With penetrating insight, this compelling narrative unveils how a mere handful of the faithful are left to shoulder the work meant for many, resulting in a spiritually underpowered and underutilized community. The members are present in number, yet absent in spirit, indifferent to the needs of the church body and oblivious to the critical role they are called to play. Drawing parallels to the medical realm, where physical paralysis can be mitigated or even healed through rehabilitation and personal determination, the author argues that similar strategies can resurrect the dormant potential within the pews. This book is not only a diagnosis of a deep-seated malady but also serves as a prescription for renewal. Through spiritual therapy and proactive engagement, the author provides a blueprint for restoring function to the immobilized members of the church, reinvigorating the whole body to its full capacity for worship and service. "Paralysis in the Pew" is an urgent call to action, a guide for churchgoers and leaders alike, to awaken the asleep and activate the static, catalyzing a profound transformation within the church-one member at a time.

About The AuthorI am Ginny M. Atkinson, born in Milton, Delaware, and journeyed to Kinston, North Carolina, in 1992. In 1996, I birthed out Nuggets from Heaven Ministries as a small Fellowship group that met monthly in homes for encouragement. Later, NFH became more than a monthly outreach but later a full-time Ministry. Later, I sent out nuggets (words) daily to others to encourage, empower, educate, and enlighten them. After several years of receiving great feedback, I decided to enlarge my territory to daily devotionals. This led me to this book, hoping to lift, empower, and touch each of you. We pray you'll be blessed by this wisdom appointed to me to flow into your cup. Be awesomely blessed, and know the Word has no Power until it's used.

In The Shadows of LUSTtill, with her eyes wide open and having a jaw drop mouth, seeing, her husband's trunk spread out, one half on the bed, the other barely on the floor. He bends down, and slowly reaches for his right hand as they both lock their eyes on each other. She can feel the caressing of his fingertips rubbing on the left side of her face, as her heart is beating faster, making her more nervous than ever. Then, his massive hand starts making its way down toward her slender neck, and tenderly fits it in the palm of his hand and begins to squeeze, as he's toying with her frantic mind. She suddenly leans forward in a frightened panic to fight him, as the choking cuts off her air supply. Struggling trying to stay alive, poor lady, it's too late. He raises his arms above his head coming down with the ax, splitting her head open, as if it was a watermelon; blood gushes out like running water overflowing from a drinking glass.
