Abigail Carter would not deny that she had been blessed with three beautiful children. As a mother, her love for her children was as genuine as it comes. However, it seemed that lately someone had stolen her eldest daughter, Joy, and replaced her with a teenage nightmare. And then when her son, Corey, crashes his ATV into her brand new care and her youngest daughter, Holly, falls out of the tree and breaks her arm, Abigail knows she needs some help. Keeping this family safe is beyond her human capabilities. Her husband, Russell, does all he can to help provide harmony in the family, but it just doesn't seem to be enough. Something has to be done for the safety of her children, and to maintain her sanity. So Abigail goes to the highest power she knows - right to the throne room of God.At her request, God sends three angels to help out. But will these rusty humans have what it takes to keep them safe? At times, it seems as though the heavenly trio has met their match with the three Carter children.Angels for Abigail is a fun, fictional story of family trials and the heavenly visitors who are doing their best to try to keep the Carter children on track, safe from themselves, and out of trouble. But which trio will be the victors - the angels, or the children they were sent to protect?Laugh and cry along with the Carter family as they strive to find success in life through the choices they make, and attempting to stay out of harm's way through the process.
Everybody has a bad day sometimes, but Mary Davis is having twelve of them - in a row! With a husband named Joseph, this couple knew Christmas would always be special to them. But packing twelve adult children and their families into one day of holiday fun proves to be less than joyful. So Mary has come up with the perfect plan. She will invite each child to come home, one day at a time, thus stretching out the holiday season and avoiding the chaos of a houseful of not-so-holiday cheer. With a plan like that, what could possibly go wrong? But day after day of her holiday plan leaves Mary scrambling to try to save the day. With a resilient attitude (and the support of her faithful husband) she somehow manages to survive all twelve days. A Twelve Davis Christmas is a comical view of a mother's love for her children, her efforts to give them her best, with a blend of Murphy's Law folded in. If anything can go wrong, it will happen to Mary and Joseph Davis - and their tribe of twelve.
