Four brothers of bravery, greed, kindness, and strength, better known as The Promising Few of Hazelton, compete for their citizens' vote to become the first known King of Hazelton. This noble title, as well as their desires and weaknesses, turn these brothers against each other. The citizens of Hazelton struggle to understand which brother is best fit to be their king, prompting these brothers to go on a long regretful trip. They battle Mother Nature, monstrous creatures, and each other to reach a witch's cave to learn who will be king. After becoming the first king of his city, the chosen one finds his destiny to be full of dismay.

The Curse: A young woman born with a curse brings misfortune to others, unwilling. Dress Made of Linen, Veins Made of Glue: A beautiful young woman marries the man of her dreams and lives happily ever after; at least she thought. Noir Tricks: A local priest has a strong lust for beautiful young women. But that changes when his 'will' is taken from him, forcefully. Ana Peen: A female assassin makes it her duty to eliminate all men who have misused or abused women. Escape: A short story of an escape written in second person, giving the reader an opportunity to placed themself in the situation. You are in a room you've never been in before with limited resources.
