A Hold belsejér¿l még kevesebb információnk van, néhány ¿70-es években telepített szeizmográf kivételével szinte semmi, ezért is bír nagy fontossággal a GRACE m¿holdpár mintájára kialakított, 2012-ben megvalósított GRAIL m¿holdas kísérlet, amely segítségével a szelenoidnak a meghatározására adódik lehet¿ség. A Hold nehézségi er¿terének ismeretében a felszín közeli és felszín alatti tömegeloszlásáról nyerünk képet, amely alapján a Hold kialakulásának, a Földdel alkotott kett¿s létrejöttének körülményeire következtethetünk. Ez Földünk megismerése szempontjából is nagy fontosságú lehet.Tanulmányomban a GRAIL m¿holdpár Level-1B típusú mérései alapján kísérletet teszek egy szelenoid modell meghatározására, ehhez részletesen bemutatom, és értelmezem a GRAIL és a GRACE mérések jellegét, az egyes mérések feldolgozása során felmerül¿ különbségeket.
