This poetry book was designed with the intent to uplift and encourage your hearts. This book includes poems that deal with mankind's thoughts, struggles and triumphs. The book also entails scriptural references that help encourage mankind into looking to God for total deliverance and freedom in this journey we call life. God can set you free from negative thoughts, fear, and so much more. "Just a walk with God" represents a journey with the Lord. The title caused me to think about how our lives can be transformed just by walking with God. The metaphorical nature of the book makes it great for self-reflection and for reading to loved ones. Thank you all for your support. God really loves you, and remember, He has a plan for your life!

THIS IS THE 6th Edition. This is the most recent edition available. Always educational, if sometimes polemical, this clearly written and entertaining book captures the various models of mental illness currently circulating in mental health. Using plain and accessible language, with a sharp and witty glossary to help, four models - disease, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and social - are given a fair chance from a sympathetic pen. And then, like a cold shower in the morning, painfully opening your eyes and shocking your mind into gear, Tyrer dismembers them all in a coruscating analysis of their inadequacies and excesses. He then reconstructs them pragmatically in a universal "conjugal" model. At a time when new models of community mental health are being developed throughout the world and mental health is becoming increasingly important, especially in England, anyone working in mental health or using services will find this book is a must! Tim Kendall, National Clinical Director for Mental Health, NHS England

Imagine a world where war, tyranny, human rights abuses and ecological destruction are relics of the past. What if the means to create such a reality were in the hands of mothers and fathers, and all those involved in the care and education of children? Parenting for a Peaceful World is a fascinating look at how parenting customs have shaped societies and major world events. It reveals how children adapt to different parenting styles and how these early experiences underpin the adults they become. In this expansive book, Robin Grille draws on revolutionary new research to argue that the safeguarding of children's emotional development is the key to creating a more peaceful and harmonious world. Parenting for a Peaceful World is a book for parents, child health professionals, and adults learning to be whole again. It is a manifesto for policy-makers and a resource for teachers. If the findings outlined in these pages are put into practice, the result may be a revolution of peace, humanity, and a world beyond our imagining.
