This book has changed a lot in the two and half years of its writing. It was started before the Covid Pandemic hit. As a result of that pandemic, the issues people had and the types of clients we saw changed suddenly and radically. While Chapter 1 remains dedicated to the concept of Karma, all of the other content had to be updated and significantly rewritten. This Book was originally titled "Cheating Karma", but was changed and now reflects the issues, troubles, and solutions that concern people in the "new normal," a phrase we despise but one that has become common parlance at this time. Pretty much everything had to change and, rightly so, although if you read the book, you will see YOU (and your creator) are still the center of everything! We decided to keep the original chapter on Karma and leave it unchanged because it has some really good information. The rest of the book topically dives into many difficult and sometimes touchy subjects. Our "test'' readers could not help but take issue with some of the comments on religion and programming despite our reminders that we are not trying to insult anyone or anything, merely to point out how things do get corrupted by people in power. While it is unlikely that highly religious people will read this book, for various reasons, we encourage anyone to include the meditations as prayer if they choose. With a few simple and slight modifications, they work very well that way if it suits you. Speaking of the meditations, we highly recommend you use a recording device (digital or otherwise) and record these meditations in a quiet place in your own voice. Then, when you enter meditation, you will hear "YOU". There actually are a few "Secrets" to Using this Book effectively. First, we recommend you do not try to read it in one sitting or back-to-back. It is not a romance or action novel that flows easily from chapter to chapter! Each chapter should leave you thinking and wondering. Especially those chapters where you feel your emotions rising or feeling upset or angry at what has been written! Each chapter builds upon and sometimes repeats, concepts that are important. And each chapter could easily constitute something you read daily for a few days or more for a period of time before moving on. This is a "DO" book as much as it is a "Think" book. There is a lot of truth to the saying that when someone or something is pushing your buttons, it is a reflection of something inside of YOU! We discuss the concept of neutrality a lot in this text. It requires you to briefly put aside your emotional thinking and take "3rd person" observational view. You view yourself as if you had no attachment to the reactions and gut responses you have from reading the words. Then simply ask yourself, "Could this feeling be the result of a program!" We promise you this will be the case many times. If you continue to feel the emotion, then understand you may not be ready to tackle that program. Or that belief system is actually a huge part of you and is RIGHT FOR YOU! Then feel free to reject the suggestion of programming and continue that behavior if it serves you well! Human beings are generally and rightly far more emotional than they realize, and that is the basic nature of most humanity, narcissists aside. Our overall goal is to put YOU back in charge of your life during what most perceive as chaotic times.
