This collector's edition grayscale coloring book includes 45 original artworks by fantasy artist Tabz Jones. These artworks have been digitally created using personal renders and some stock images in an effort to evoke the Steampunk aesthetic in a new and inventive way. Some of the pages you will find here are from Mrs.Jones previous Steampunk volume and have been digitally remastered for better clarity and ease of coloring for all skill levels. many of the pages here are previously unreleased and were created specifically for this volume. If you enoyed the first volume, but found some pages too dark to color, we invite you to give this collector's edition a try. We hope that you will be pleasantly surprised. The Stalker Team*This is a grayscale coloring book. This means that some shading has already been done. Coloring over this shading creates more depth of color for the finished pages. This is not the same style as traditional line art type coloring books and does use different techniques. There are many tutorial videos on YouTube describing these techniques. **The authors that publish through CreateSpace have no control over the paper quality or shipping. Two diagonals cannot cross in one cell, and there can be no loose ends.
The Surfing/Real Life Based Drama Book of the Year. Life has its up's and down's; similar to the ocean, it has mostly calm days, but without any warning, an unexpected storm can roll in and destroy everything in its path. A Surfer's nature is to rise to the challenge and head directly into the storm to conquer its brutality. However, there comes a time when the storm pins the person underwater and has to fight for survival. Life can be symbolically compared to surfing as told in this story.Steven is not average by any means and is exceedingly passionate about all aspects of life. At a young age, he grabbed a handful of E-tickets, jumped in the front seat and sped forward as his life became a thrilling roller coaster ride that never stops. He has seen the world through many eyes. First as an entrepreneur who was instrumental in changing the course of the music industry in the early 1980's. His daring ideas paved the way for a new era of music as the original manager/co-creator of the iconic band Slayer. Years later, he became a world-renowned artist, and a champion in fiberglass warfare.Steven is interviewed for a film documentary about his historic involvement in the music industry. He is asked, "If you can attribute one thing that makes you who you are and what has led you into achieving things that most could not even dream about or are too scared to attempt, what would it be?" Unexpectedly, he replies, "Surfing."When the economy crashes in 2010, he, like so many others, quickly loses everything that he worked all his life to obtain, and rapidly loses many people he loves. His life goes into a downward spiral headed toward the pit of hell where there is no return. Nearing the point of giving up, Steven reaches deep into his soul in an attempt to reclaim what it was about his youth that made him into the man he became before life broke him into pieces. Steven remembers his answer during the film interview and sits down at a computer to write his beginnings with the hope of finding himself again before it's too late.Fast paced and masterfully written with two storylines running parallel to each other. The Storm is in the present (by Desiree Clemence) as Steven's life crumbles out of control, and the other, A Surfer's Tale, from the past, a classic surf story of youth, friendship, and love (by Steven Craig), both racing against time to meet for a climatic ending.Real life stories from Surfers have mass appeal to the public whether they have set foot in the ocean or not. People don't need a connection or an interest in the sport of Surfing to get emotionally invested in this story of fighting for survival. Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton was the first in the set. Then came Making Mavericks (Chasing Mavericks) by Frosty Hesson - both of which are best-selling books made into major motion pictures. Next in the lineup is Riding the Storm."A fun read that rides waves of emotion. Truly inspirational." - Amber Thorn"What an enthralling adventure. Although I'm not a surfer or entrepreneur, the struggles in this novel tug at heartstrings I didn't even know I had. The drive and motivation found in every page seeps into my hands and begs me to get my own life started. Amazing, inspirational read." - Eliseo Velasquez
*Includes pictures *Includes the actors' quotes about their lives and careers *Includes a bibliography for further reading In the 1960s and 1970s, no actor personified cool, calm and collected like Steve McQueen, whose suave anti-hero protagonists made men jealous and women swoon. As actor Donald Logue puts it in The Tao of Steve, "Steve is the prototypical cool American male. He's the guy on his horse, the guy alone. He has his own code of honor, his own code of ethics, his own rules of living. He never, ever tries to impress the women, but he always gets the girl." And indeed, that was the case not only in movies like The Thomas Crown Affair, Bullitt, The Getaway, and Papillon, but also in real life. Actress Ali MacGraw, who later became one of his wives, described his effect on women: "I remember seeing him across the swimming pool and my knees were knocking. He radiated such macho energy. Men wanted to be like him. Uptight society ladies and biker molls wanted to be with him." Unlike many actors who become this type of heartthrob, McQueen seemed to have the bona fides. Growing up rough and tough in the Midwest, McQueen was sent to a juvenile facility California because he didn't get along with his stepfather, and after that there he became a Marine. Like Jim Dean before him, McQueen also loved to race, and before he became an actor, he was actually making a living winning races in New York. As he once put it, "Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting." However, McQueen was destined to become "The King of Cool" on screen, and after a few quick stints in acting jobs in the early 1950s, he began to look at it as an actual occupation. He once noted, "I really don't like to act. At the beginning, back in '51, I had to force myself to stick with it. I was real uncomfortable, real uncomfortable." Eventually, McQueen was comfortable enough to simply act natural and thus exude the tough confidence that made him an idol. That kind of performance translated well on the old TV Westerns, and a few of those, Tales of Wells Fargo and Trackdown, catapulted McQueen to the conscience of Hollywood. From there, it would only take a few years and a few movie appearances for McQueen to become a huge box office draw. By the time Charles Bronson emerged from a series of miniscule, uncredited roles in the mid-1950s, the singing cowboy was two generations gone, save vestiges in television serials, such as Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. The dancing romantic lead of the Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire variety would soon exhaust itself as a genre in an age increasingly bent on realism and a more severe form of escape. Bronson possessed none of the gifts common to the heroes of the previous era. Light-heartedness did not become him, and by all accounts, he was neither a singer nor dancer. He could not offer the heft of Gary Cooper or John Wayne, although he shared a reserved quality with the former. He did not possess the pristine good looks of Gregory Peck. In fact, one good-natured description making the rounds in Bronson's heyday likened him to "A Clark Gable who has been left out in the sun too long." To accompany the rough-hewn appearance of Bronson's new class of hero, the typical script gave his remarkably enduring persona, little to say in terms of dialogue that would reveal his inner thoughts. With minimal text, even those he attempts to help are unsure of his intentions, and few clues are offered by which the viewer can come to know his mind. As the grotesqueness of his characters' violent acts increased, so did the heinous deeds of the criminals he fought, upping the ante to an eager public in search of a simple cure for its social ills. In a career of almost eighty films and a total body of work totaling 160 appearances including television, Bronson pushed the envelope of what graphic action the studios were willing to offer, and what the censors would accept.

This booklet is designed to provide the reader with an education on the extremely interesting subject of a pre-Adamic creation (before Adam), as revealed in the Holy Bible. I have published several other resources on the Genesis Gap Bible subject, ranging from about 7,000 to 27,200 words in length each. In this resource, I am providing a complete rundown of the teaching in only about 2,700 words. While I reference many scriptures, I do not quote them within the text of this short subject book but I leave it to the reader to look them up and to confirm the accuracy of my references to them. I have not copied/pasted anything from my previous written works for this resource but everything was written originally, from scratch. It is my hope that this shorter version will fill the need for understanding this Bible doctrine, by those readers who want to learn about it, without having to read lengthy dissertations in order to get the facts on this highly intriguing subject. [Readers please note that while this doctrine passes scriptural rules and even common sense ones, it is still a necessity for me to add reminder, that all scripture studies, should and do come under reasonable scrutiny. This should be the stance for every Christian.]THE CHAPTERS: CHAPTER ONE: A Brief but Thorough Summation of the Genesis GapCHAPTER TWO: The Importance of Fallen Angels in the Genesis GapCHAPTER THREE: Questions Only Answered by the Genesis GapIf you enjoy this resource on the Genesis Gap Bible subject, also consider my larger resource on the subject, titled: "The Genesis Gap - A Comprehensive Biblical Study" (approx. 27,268 words in length).

Even by John O'Loughlin's unique structurally-exacting philosophical standards, as exemplified not least by the previous title 'Stations of the Supercross', this is an exceptionally-demanding work, the logical comprehensiveness of which actually surpasses, on a more radical basis, the best of what has already been achieved in the aforementioned title, largely with the benefit of a number of theoretical modifications which have been brought to bear on the overall fourfold frameworks which, as before, encompass both atoms and pseudo-atoms in any given pairing, or 'complementarity', to use the author's preferred term, which may be presumed to exist in axial polarity with either a noumenal or a phenomenal, an ethereal or a corporeal, counterpart within both what he calls church-hegemonic and state-hegemonic parameters. - A Centretruths editorial

Writing ought to be the easiest of the four skills for students of English as a Second or Foreign Language. Unlike listening and reading, the students control all the words. Unlike speaking, the students can go back, check their work, revise it, and resubmit it. It should then follow that writing would be one of the most popular courses to teach. Yet teachers never say, "I can't wait till I get tenure, so I can teach some of those composition classes of 35 students." However, writing classes also offer the opportunity to see growth, to share important ideas, and to develop a sense of community. The tips in "Fifty Ways Ways to Teach Writing" are chosen with that goal in mind -- to make it easier for students to succeed at becoming better writers, and for instructors to enjoy the teaching of writing. This book is divided into three categories, which represent the stages of process writing: Pre-writing and planningWriting topics and strategiesEditing and revisingThe "Fifty Ways to Teach" series gives you a variety of drills, games, techniques, methods, and ideas to help your students master English. Most of the ideas can be used for both beginning and advanced classes. Many require little to no preparation or special materials. The ideas can be used with any textbook, or without a textbook at all. These short, practical guides aim to make your teaching life easier, and your students' lives more rewarding and successful.

For Mary Sofia, The Penultimate writing competition is more than a chance at a free college education; she wants to show her younger siblings that they can all rise above their violent family history. For Raiden, the pressure to succeed comes from within, although he knows that family traditions play a part in his determination. For Camara, writing fiction is almost compulsive, but her own dark secret may be the best story she can ever tell. For Michael, swimming and writing fit his introverted personality perfectly, but meeting a smart and beautiful girl at The Penultimate makes stepping outside of his comfort zone easy. All four will compete against each other along with 96 other high school juniors for the chance of a lifetime: a full scholarship to a prestigious private college. Some students will do anything to win, but others may pay the price.
Aggression touches all of our lives. Whether it is a customer or angry coworker, an upset family member or a stranger we bump into on the street, all of us, at times, must deal with aggressive people.Words of Power is not a book for specialists. It is written for ordinary people who may, on occasion, have to deal with an angry, even an enraged person. This book was written with the help of a unique cadre of critical readers. Rather than professionals, they are people from ordinary walks of life. They share several things in common: their professions do not require them to interact on a regular basis with aggressive people; their family lives are healthy; they are not experts at self-defense or martial arts; and they lead happy lives, largely untouched by violence. Their job was to read through the original manuscript and highlight all the things that they felt they did NOT need to know. What remains is the information that ordinary people need: no more, no less. The book is simple without being simplistic. It is a comprehensive guidebook on how to de-escalate angry people and how to use verbal control tactics to manage the behaviors of enraged people. Words of Power also teaches how to develop your intuition, so that you become aware and can react before something has truly become dangerous. Most importantly, this book teaches how to calm and center yourself so that you have access to your best, most powerful qualities. You have the best chance of achieving peace when you embody peace.
Eleven-year-old Alice didn't know that she was about to become a hero. How could she know that she would be called upon to change the course of history? How could she stand up to that kind of pressure and how could she ever make the right choices to succeed? She was, after all, only eleven and small for her age at that. Was she really this brave? If you were to ask her, she would say no, but isn't that true of most heroes.Like Alice in "Alice in Wonderland" and Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz," Alice is on a strange journey as her world is turned upside down when she stumbles upon an odd diary in an old dusty attic, but this wasn't like any other book that she had ever read and it sends her into a world where everything isn't the way it should be.As she reads the pages of the diary, it begins to interact with her in ways that, at first, are subtle but doesn't remain so.
