Otros como Gerena Bras y Edna Iris Rivera vivieron en Utuado un periodo de sus vidas. Antonio Ramírez Córdova oriundo de Bayamón, vive en Utuado desde que se fundó en el 1979 el Recinto Universitario de la Montaña de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Utuado, en donde enseña cursos de literatura. Caso parecido es el de Nélida González aunque nació en el pueblo de Añasco lleva al momento en que se escribe cerca de una década viviendo entre los utuadeños. No es un estudio final ni detallado. Solo intenta analizar e interpretar de manera general el contexto económico, político-social y cultural en que se dieron a conocer esas creaciones líricas. Un trabajo más completo, debe ampliar las fuentes e investigar con más detenimiento las publicaciones en libros, que pudieron no incluirse por no estar accesibles. Se debe también examinar con cuidado las revistas, periódicos, antologías, programas de fiestas patronales, la poesía suelta que circuló en una bohemia, la que se escribió de manera ocasional y en todo aquel documento en donde aparezca versos escritos en Utuado o por utuadeños. Algunos poetas son más reseñados que otros. Se debe a que aquellos poetas con mayor creación de versos recibieron una atención superior. Para examinar y analizar desde una perspectiva histórica el desarrollo de la poesía en Utuado fue necesario extraer muchos de los comentarios contenidos de la primera edición de "Panorama General de la poesía en Utuado" (2004) y algunas aseveraciones aparecidas en mi ensayo, "Reflexiones en torno a la obra poética de Guillermo Núñez (seudónimo de William Pérez)", en "Naturaleza, amor y sociedad (Antología poética: Guillermo Núñez (1964-2006)", Editorial Manuscrito, 2009.
