As part of my jazz series, I write phrasing books about the chords of most common types. Here's one about the m7b5 chord. These phrases came to me during improvisation sessions. Despite the fact that they are purely spontaneous, they cannot be treated as theoretical examples derived from scales or any other musical pattern material. Nevertheless, you should try to analyze them in order to gain a deeper understanding of the process that led to their development. In addition to being able to be used in any style, they can also be tested in a wide range of octaves as well as transported to another key, or any harmonic field to explore new sounds. In the book, dynamics and accents are not detailed on purpose so the player is given freedom to experiment. A mp3 folder is included for download by email.

"We never stopped looking back. A few photos, to which we added our own. They were always there at the beginning, always the first thing we saw. They meant less to our children, even less to their children. Occasionally they would ask questions, but more to see us remember than to hear the memory itself." This is Gertie's story. From her poor childhood in a convent in Burma, to her marriage to a wealthy young airman, from the ship that brought her to England, to her new life as an immigrant, wife, mother, grandmother, and back again. Now in her 80s, and succumbing to dementia, Gertie tells her own story, in her own time, and in her own words, as the person she once was begins to disappear.

If you were born from 1946 - 1964 you're a Boomer. Like it or not. When I turned 60 I realized what it has meant, to us and to the Grandkids. I'm still the same inside and I don't plan on changing. The things that have happened in our lives all this time are still as meaningful today as they were back then. So, what are we doing differently that really affects out points of view about the world as it is?Somehow, the older I get the more I do things the way I used to. We didn't forget, we're just out of practice. But, some things really bring it all back to life and nothing does it more than watching the grandkids growing up. It doesn't matter whose they are. That's when you get to see that light in us all, once again. Groomin' the little ones to be witty and wild. Shake it up, have fun, tell them what you used to do and how it use to be. They love it! Our kids tuned us out a long time ago but their kids really seem to get it.That's why I call ourselves, "Groomers". Condensing GR-andparent b-OOMERS to just GROOMER, or B2G.If you want to have a nice time thinking about it, then here is my offering. Take a little time for yourself and see how much you can remember about the simple good times we had. It's a fun read. There's two books available, they are the same, only with the titles reversed. It's all how you look at it. Choose the one you like best. "Sixty From The Sixties" or "Boomers To Groomers". You can view the book trailer on YouTube with the link below.http: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmDF-XUtVI0I hope you come away with the same good feeling that I had writing it.

'Only by living on his terms could he die a satisfactory death, for even death had to have a meaning, as much as life, for birth and death were the beginning and end of the sentence and one had to fill that sentence with meaningful words. If one did not, then that death, that apex, would mean nothing and it had to mean everything. If it did not, if death meant nothing, if it was merely the cessation of breath, the stilling of the heart, then it was wasted. One could waste death no more than one could waste life. Only by a good death, a contented death, could one know that one had lived a good life, a life fulfilled. Of course, he was still searching.'So Christian Tassin decides to find the only thing that would give his life meaning - a good death.

Did you hear about the blonde coyote? It got stuck in a trap, chewed off three legs, and was still stuck. Tressa Jayne Turner, Grandville, Iowa's own little "Calamity Jayne," is headed for the Grand Canyon State--and a wedding! Tressa's goofy Gammy is gettin' hitched, and Tressa is looking forward to a little down time in the desert. But her sunny vacation is suddenly about to have more strings attached than a dreamcatcher! Her cousin's keeping secrets, the roguishly hot Ranger Rick's sending mixed signals--more of the smokin' than smoke variety--and a "Kookamunga," a butt-ugly fertility figurine Tressa picked up at a roadside stand as a wedding gift, is turning out to be more trouble than tribal treasure. This wacky wedding's about to become a southwestern scavenger hunt of Amazing Race-meets-The Da Vinci Code proportions, featuring a washed-up actress out to kick-start her career, a suspect spiritual advisor, locals with a cause, and a ten-year-old who's a chip off a certain ranger's blockhead. It'll be a vision quest to make Thelma and Louise's southwestern spree seem like amateur night at the OK Corral. May the best spirit guide win. Book on metallurgy of rare earths. This book is an introduction on the extractive metallurgy of rare earths. Rare earths nick named RE are not earths and not so rare, it is a group of metals discovered or extracted less than 200 years ago. They are essentially used to make new kind of magnets. They use them to do new generation speakers and batteries for iphones for instance, they use them for phosphores that shine in the dark (on your watch) and they are used also to produce sparks in ligthers (for smokers). They are used in air-jets, laser. and intelligent weapons. They are the source of new crisis between main users like US, Japan and Europe against China the main producer.

  • - (The End Times Based on Scriptures.)
    av John H Reno
    142,-

I believe that the end times is like a big puzzle. There are many pieces of the end times puzzle: the rapture, salvation, the antichrist, the beast, the false prophet, the vile person, the little horn, gog, Rosh, Dan 9:27, Mystery Babylon the Great, the seven mountains, the seven kings, the seven heads of the beast, the abomination of desolation, Matt 24, the "third temple", the apostasy, the restrainer, 666, and Jerusalem. It is very easy for anyone to write about any one of those topics and even give Scriptures which seem to fit. It would seem that it would be much harder to write about ALL those topics, give Scriptures which fit, AND which do not contradict the clear meaning of other Scriptures. I'm sure that it will surprise you for me to say that it isn't! What is *very hard*, is to read the Bible and simply accept what it says, *without* trying to make it fit what you have been taught. Even if you've made no effort to study the end times in the Bible yourself, you can probably list the order of end times events as they are commonly taught. So what's wrong with the commonly taught version of the end times? The main thing is that it isn't true. God is not a man that He should lie and the prophecies given us in the Scriptures are the truth and do not lie. If any man says one thing and the clear meaning of the Scriptures say something different, then what the man is saying is wrong. This applies to any man. It applies to me, and it also applies to the preachers that have a big church and wear fancy clothes and big rings on their TV shows. Don't trust any man. Don't trust me. Read the Scriptures for yourself. Read them in context. There isn't room in this book for me to quote entire chapters or books from the Bible, but you should read entire chapters as you have time. Double-check everything for yourself. There really isn't anything in this book that you couldn't have done yourself, assuming that you are of above average intelligence, and devote a lot of time over a period of years studying the Bible while asking the Holy Spirit for help in understanding it. Maybe you wouldn't even need to be of above average intelligence, and maybe you could do it a lot quicker than I did, I don't know. What I do know is that I wasted a lot of time reading books about the end times that were not based on the Bible. And it took a long time to unlearn what I read in those books. I believe that the key to understanding the end times is found in the book of Daniel. The Bible says that the book of Daniel was sealed until the time of the end. That means that authors who wrote while the book was sealed were guessing without the tremendous benefit of the book of Daniel. When do I say that the book of Daniel became unsealed? When events started taking place as they were predicted in the book of Daniel! But the problem is that by the time that it happened everyone was already brainwashed into believing the commonly taught version of the end times so they couldn't see it! I knew from the beginning that there was no "pre-tribulation rapture". Wow! I bet I just lost a lot of potential readers right there! I know that THAT is one thing that everyone wants to believe. When you read that chapter I should be able to prove that to you, assuming that you really want to know the truth. Does the truth really matter? Read 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 (KJV). Anyway, I knew that they were wrong about the pre-trib rapture, but I assumed that they were right about everything else. Then as I studied the Bible more, it finally dawned on me that I should not assume that they were right and that I should check everything against what the Bible says. And that is what everyone should do. Don't believe that the Bible is all jumbled up or that it's true only if it's taken a certain way. That is the result of people trying to make square pegs fit into round holes. Believe God, and believe the Bible.
