También revisamos algunos aspectos de su biografía, antes publicada en mi libro 'He llorado al recordar el río de pueblo. El periodismo de Ramón Juliá Marín', 2012. "Adelfas" fue publicado por el autor en el 1901, en la imprenta de don Ángel Figueroa, en Utuado. Una segunda edición, fue publicada por la Editorial UBEC, bajo la dirección del doctor Pedro Hernández Paralitici en el 1974. Esa edición fue impresa como dice su editor, el 15 de enero de 1974 también en Utuado. La misma constó de 100 ejemplares. Fue mecanografiada por el poeta utuadeño Francisco Camacho Arabía. Incluye un "Apunte preliminar" a cargo del prolifero poeta también utuadeño Guillermo Gutiérrez Morales; unas "Notas biográficas" sobre Juliá Marín escritas por Hernández Paralitici y un poema escrito por Camacho Arabía en honor a Juliá Marín titulado "Un bardo en el parnaso", el cual incluimos en la sección de "poemas dedicados a Juliá Marín". Se incluye además, varios poemas que publicó entre el 1903 y 1904 en el periódico "Domingo del Boletín" y tres poemas que sometió a un certamen para la celebración del "Cuarto Centenario de la Colonización Cristiana en Puerto Rico", laureados con medalla de plata cada uno y que fueran publicados por el Ateneo Puertorriqueño en el 1908.
