The Chase is the second of the three-volume continuum entitled The Hunt. Volume 1 was entitled The Search. It recorded my search for historical documents that confirmed the truth about the life of Jesus, as recorded in the four Gospels of the Bible. Volume 2, The Chase, is a record of the application of the documentation found in The Search, to the truth regarding the life of Jesus, as recorded in the four Gospels of the Bible. Volume 3, The Find, will use historical documents found and applied to the life of Jesus to identify and conform his position as Messiah, forgiving Savior and Eternal King. The second volume, The Chase, of the set of three explores the earthly life of Jesus within the context of known Greco-Roman history, customs, philosophies, and manners of the time. Jesus was born into this world during the time of the Roman emperor Caesar Augustus (January 27 bc to August 14 ad). He lived, ministered and was put to death during the reign of Roman emperor Caesar Tiberius (September 14 ad to March 37 ad). Jesus was born into part of the world governed by Herod the Great, a vassal king appointed by the emperor.

Later, each of them discovered they had been given a gift from God. Finally, they were grateful for a second chance at life and were excited to share their newfound gifts with others!Millions of families have been negatively impacted by tragedies that stemmed from suicide, suicidal intents, and/or mental illness. One Gift to Give illustrates a picture of the pain and desperation a person may endure before he or she decides to take their own life. This book will neither judge nor condemn anyone. He was raised in South Portland, Maine. He was the third oldest child in a family of thirteen. His father, Dr. William J. During the period of October 1970 to October 1971, he spent seven to eight months on the front lines in Vietnam as infantry, “grunt,” where he earned both the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and an Army Commendation. Later in his tour of duty, he worked in the finance office in Chu Lai. After Vietnam, he came home to his wife and baby of fifteen months. Using the GI Bill, he graduated from University of Massachusetts at Boston. He would then spend the next thirty-five years selling hydraulic components and designing hydraulic systems to manufacturers throughout New England. He also taught hydraulics classes for over twenty years. He has raised four children in Medway, Massachusetts. And now has eleven grandchildren and a great grandchild. He is very proud of his service and of those who served in Vietnam.
Born in his grandfather''s house during a blizzard, breech baby Martin George Le Blanc was not expected to survive. Instead of baptism, he received last rites. Lack of birth registration made him the ideal future "warrior of last resort": a blank slate.Le Blanc enlisted in the U.S. Army as a footloose 20-year-old Canadian, during the early days of the Vietnam War. His rapid ascent to elite black-ops warrior transformed the small-town Nova Scotia kid into a clandestine force in the Vietnam and Cold War eras (1966-86). He finally became an American citizen years after retiring from military service. In A Warrior of Last Resort, a work of autofiction, Le Blanc sheds sharp new light on a period that foreshadowed today''s geopolitics. He explores how a rugged childhood and intensive military training toughened him; the dangers and hard-won satisfaction of defending freedom; and the damage military service inflicted on body, mind, soul, and relationships.Le Blanc''s character, a U.S. Airborne Army Ranger and member of Special Forces, had a hand in historic events, from Israel''s victory in the 1967 Six Day War to the Soviet Union''s failing grasp on Afghanistan in 1983. He completed 16 major missions and many operations in South and North Vietnam, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Germany, Grenada, Italy, Lebanon, and along the Pacific Shelf. After each of three nearly-fatal missions, once suffering the loss of all nine men under his command, he broke down, withdrew, healed, and returned to battle, despite his enduring pain and trauma.A movie producer, whom Le Blanc served as a bodyguard, mined the retired warrior''s life, character, and quirks to create hit man Martin Blank in the dark-comedy film Grosse Pointe Blank (1997).A Warrior of Last Resort weaves the tale of one remarkable life. Martin Le Blanc will inspire, amaze, horrify, and deeply move you. "Let every nation know whether it wishes us well or ill, that we will pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of Liberty."- John F. Kennedy

Without your health, you have nothing. It is the very foundation by which everything else in life grows and flourishes. Without it, peace, joy, happiness, and purpose are absent, and the ability to express love and support to your family, spouse, employer, and friends can be lost and nonexistent. In pain and suffering, one is caught up totally into themselves and unable to serve and care for others. In five decades of practice as a fasting coach, this book’s author observed over half of her clients suffered from depression. Today we have evidence that this is a result of toxicity and incorrect diet, resulting in sickness, mentally and physically.Success in life’s ambitions can become illusive. Many people state they “eat clean and healthy,” but further investigation as to what is being put into the body is actually fueling carcinogens, free radicals, toxicity, and disease, creating addictions to unhealthy (and deadly) foods. This prematurely steals life at an exponential rate. Many of our medical directives ensure the continuation of these cycles through toxic drugs and adulterated dietary guidelines. The most important approach to master a healthy condition is by taking steps outlined in this book through fasting, healthy eating, detoxification, vitamin/mineral supplementation, and, importantly, exercises. Fasting is the universal key to combating illness as well as keeping weight under control and never having to diet again for a lifetime. This is the ultimate guide to optimizing your health, the greatest asset you will ever possess. This book will guide you into a place of vibrant, purposeful, and glowing well-being, resulting in abundant life. It is not difficult. This book tells you how.
The title of this book, Seven Pillars of Discipleship: Book One, is the first in a seven-part series on discipleship. Pillar one or book one deals with the beginning of the discipleship process (salvation). In order for one to become a disciple of Jesus the Christ, he/she must first be born again-that is the acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior and the repentance (turning away from) sin. Book one seeks to show why salvation is necessary and God's plan to redeem the world through the death of His only begotten Son. A misunderstanding of salvation results in an eternal outcome, hence, this is probably the most important message in the series and the most essential to the foundation of the discipleship process.
Imagine yourself an eleven-year-old boy lost and alone at night in a land full of towering mountains, surging rivers and thick, uninhabited forests. Wild animals still claim the territory as their own and when their food source is scarce, you discover that to them any meat will do. As the hours pass, you helplessly wander deeper into unknown territory, all in search for your missing puppy-the very reason you bolted out into the forest in the first place. Now you're in desperate need of help yourself.Such was the position Ben found himself in one cold Hanukkah night in December. Home now seemed more than a miracle away for Ben. Only the help of a God whose power and existence Ben has begun to question could possibly save him from an imminent and certain end.
