We are all called for an assignment, yet sometimes it hurts you want never to forgive. Yet we must! I would wake many times a night between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., hearing, "Tell them. It was not about those who betrayed you or those who left you. It is about a work I need to do in them, you, and others." It was ironic that day. I did not feel hurt. I did not feel pain. I felt numbness, yet not a numbness that paralyzed me. For I wanted to respond in some way. I became so angry, not angry at those who betrayed me or those who I loved and said they loved me yet walked away from me. For I know that they still loved me. They were not trying to hurt me; it was never their intention to hurt me. They were struggling as well. I was angry at Satan because he used people I love in a way to hurt me, hurt God, our church, my husband, our families, and others who love us. So what I learned to do and did was displace that anger on Satan, and not on them. And I thank God because he opened my eyes. When I read the scripture, which I have read before, "Jesus wept," I now realize why He was weeping. Jesus was weeping because He was angry at what Satan had done to His friend, to me, to some of you. So when this attack came, I knew I had to prepare for a battle. I had to put on my war clothes because, now, the attack was going to come not only from within but also from without.

There is a saying that we are what we eat.The corollary is also true; if we do not eat at all, it is just a matter of time before we cease to exist on this planet.Proper nourishment/nutrition is thus an important cornerstone of health and wellness.There are several conditions resulting from nutritional deficits, like kwashiorkor, marasmus, vitamin deficiencies, growth stunting in children, and states of poor immunity (immunodeficient states).Nutritive deficits can also lead to problems in other areas of life, like social and sensory deprivations, inabilities to fulfill potentials, and even chronic disease conditions and death.Hunger strikes, famines, eating disorders, and disorders of assimilation also fall under this category.At the other end of the scale are conditions of excess like obesity, drug addiction and overdoses, alcoholism, and even some cancers.Poisonings, whether intentional or accidental, also deserve mention. Not all poisonings are from ingestion, however.The Holy Communion is a special kind of nutrition that not only provides an antidote to all the conditions above, but also, when taken aright, acts as prophylaxis (prevents calamities, whether disease related or not)!It also possesses antiaging properties!When a man or woman partakes of it aright, he is guaranteed life!It is not a religious ritual, but a power meal--a spiritual act done in a physical way by faith and connects people with the vast resources of Almighty God!In the wilderness, God's people ate manna, which was described as angels' food.The Holy Communion is superior to manna. It is not angel's food but the very flesh and blood of God!Dear reader, the mysteries in this book will transform your life if you take the time to ask God to open your eyes to them and teach you Himself.Happy reading!

I remember certain things in my life that was orchestrated by God. I remember God telling me if I married my children's mother, I would not have to go to the United States military. I talk about this in the book. I remember meeting my present wife on the day that both she and I had gotten a divorce. I remember going to work early one morning and hearing my pastor on the radio, and the Lord began to tell me that one day, I would be doing the radio Broadcast! I remember losing my job and getting another job, whereby I was able to do the broadcast on the day that I had off. I was bitter for a while because I was making less money, but the Lord made it clear by telling me that this was not my job but my assignment. Life has been like a journey. As I am writing this book, it is as if it's a predestined journey, with me not really noticing it. It's like a raft being driven by the current of a river. The older I get, the better I can see it. I'm learning not to fight against the current so much. He gives me strength when I'm weak. He heals my body when I'm sick. He's keeping me alive. The only thing I see is that I must go through this divine destinations.

God used to talk to the prophets before. Now He talks to us by His words. Let us follow His words by learning them, practicing them in our lives.

For five years, Rebecca Sage and her family tried to make a good living after the war, but their neighbors wouldn't let them. So she and her extended family of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and their families packed up and headed west. When they got to their new home site, tragedy hit, and this is the result of it.

In the closing of this book, I am so happy that I got the courage to write it and the people that I am going to bless with it! Knowledge is power but Knowledge means nothing if we don't put it in action, and when God blesses us with it, we have to share it with others. I am thankful for the persons who encouraged me to do it. We must ask questions. Too much misunderstanding caused family, coworker, and friends to fall apart. Let's connect and talk! Too much fighting in the church. Let's get together and unite. We need more love in the church. Talk is cheap; too much talk and no action. Let's fight against drugs. Too many of our loved ones and friends' lives have been destroyed by drugs. We need more order not only in the church but also in the home and school. We are supposed to build each other up, not tear each other apart! Life is a journey that comes with a lot of obstacles, but if we put our trust in God, we will make it. No one should have control over how one should be dressed. That is just my opinion. Gossip is very dangerous; most of the time it is not true, and we must stop it. Evil thoughts--so a man thinks we must cancel and delete these thoughts before they become action. We must pray against bondage; too many people are in bondage and not even know it. We must not be comfortable but always be hungry for more. There is always room for improvement. Let us support each other in any form of way. We can and stop making excuses and when using words, make sure you know the meaning before saying it; and always remember, words have power. Last but not the least, can we mind our own business for a change? Love and thanks to everyone who is going to enjoy reading my book. This is coming from my heart, love, and blessings. I am really happy that I am able to use my book to shed some light on life experiences. Everything I write in this book I did experience it in some form or way. It wasn't even 8:00 a.m. I needed a divine interruption, and boy, did I get one.Good Morning, Beautiful was the lifeline I needed. As God began to speak to me, I began to write. His love and acceptance filled my entire space. Soul Divided: Gaining Perspective through Poetry consists of a collection of poems written over a wide range of topics including some from my personal life as well as some with a biblical, theological, and psychological focus. These were written because I believe that we all face the same problems, at least at the core, so the solutions would likewise be somewhat similar. I seek to point out some of the problems by using my own experiences and by telling stories that the reader might relate to. Although some of these poems are the problem/solution type, some are not, but all were written to pierce right into the heart of the reader. I also believe that in most of our lives, the answers to our questions are typically right in front of us, but a slight adjustment in perspective is needed in order to see them, which is what I try to make the reader aware of.As the title implies, we are most often torn between the different realities that we experience--things that we want to do and the things that we actually do--highlighting the spiritual battle that goes on internally. I would say that most people want to better their lives but are either too stubborn to admit it, don't know how, or they keep postponing the process, claiming that there is plenty of time in life to change. It is my attempt to persuade the reader in a few of these poems, but all of them offer a different perspective regarding their respective topics, which I think the reader would enjoy.

Our life journey isn't always smooth; days are not always wonderful. The author explores passages from Scripture and the personal message it has for each of us. There is much that I can say as prelude to this testimony, but I have committed to staying in the "now" and giving God all the praise for what only He has done. HalleluYAH!I will leave this with you. The Lord asked me, while on this journey, "What is most important, your desire or my will for your life?"My answer, "Your will is most important, Lord." This book continues with a character found in Luke Faces the Truth. Macie lives a vicarious lifestyle before losing her young son to a congenital heart defect. Never being much of a mother, when she finds his Christmas gift sitting on her kitchen table, she realizes that she must change her careless ways or sink into a pit of depression from which none can draw her out.

Beth Paine, a high school junior, remembers the day her daddy left, but she doesn't recall her mother comforting her with hugs or explanations as to why daddy never came home. In His parables, Jesus referred to the Gospel as seed and, in so doing, sought to present features of this good news and the manner in which it needed to be received. The seedbed, of course, is the human heart. People need to hear the message of the Christ and embrace it by faith and, in so doing, allow it to grow within their soul, letting it become an informing influence in their lives. Yet this seedbed already has vegetation growing within it. From infancy, we're taught how to get along in this world in which we live, how to understand our surroundings, how to avoid harm, how to make our way into adulthood and benefit from our various activities.Our existence is defined through our interaction with other people; our families and our communities teach us how to understand the world around us. We learn what is considered good and what is considered bad. In complex societies, basic values may be contested, but even in this complexity, there are certain fundamental beliefs that are embraced by most members of a particular society.All these features pertaining to our surroundings are referred to as culture. The culture works to define us, and all who are part of our culture are defined in similar ways. When the Gospel is presented within any culture, it may share some common elements within that seedbed, but it will also invariably conflict with that culture because at its core, it is unique.
